Description

有する骨用ピンが提供される。このピンは骨又は骨の断
片を通して挿入でき、切削具を除去することができる。

を用いたとき、骨に穴を開けることができる。この中空
の外科用ドリルを用いる場合、ピンの切断部分はドリル
のチャックによって保持され、ピンの重合体部分はドリ
ルの本体の中で、チャックの後方まで延びる。図面に示
すように道具の吸収しうる部分は長さ1mm当り約0.
005mm〜0.05mmのテーパーを有する。ここで
テーパーとは長さlミル当りの直径の差である。道具の
切断部分は道具の重合体部分の最小直径より大きいが、
道具の重合体部分の最大直径はど大きくない直径を有す
る。このピンのテーパーは、骨にあけられた穴の中にピ
ンが徐々に押込まれることを可能にする。ピンの直径は
結局骨の穴程度かあるいはそれより大きく、ピンを骨の
中にしっかり固定させるために、骨の中へ圧入すること
ができる。

- 重合体材料から作られた円柱部分及びこの重合体部分の

0.05mmのテーパーを有する骨用ピン。
