It is preferable that the relative viscosity at 25° C. is in the range of 1.5 to 6.0, more preferably 2.0 to 5.0. If the relative viscosity exceeds 6.0, the melt viscosity becomes too high and the fluidity of the resin composition deteriorates, which is not preferable. On the other hand, if the relative viscosity is less than 1.5, it provides only low mechanical strength, which is not preferable.

Comparative Examples 1 and 2 Obtained from nylon 46 (KS400 manufactured by DSM, Netherlands) with a relative viscosity of 4.0, 90 mol% of ε-caprolactam, 5 mol% of bis(4-aminocyclohexyl)methane, and 5 mol% of isophthalic acid. Copolymerized nylon (relative viscosity 2.5) and chopped glass fiber strands with a diameter of 13 μm (Nippon Electric Glass Co., Ltd. 7289) were mixed in the proportions shown in Table 1, and after vacuum drying at 90°C for 16 hours, The mixture was melt-mixed at 300° C. using a twin-screw press ratio machine and cut into pellets. The obtained pellet was molded at 300° using an injection molding machine.
C to create a test piece. Using this test piece, surface gloss level, heat distortion temperature, tensile strength, and tensile modulus were measured. The results are also listed in Table 1.
