[Detailed explanation of the invention] A Purpose of the invention Control the speed of the car, and
This invention relates to a speed control device for an automobile in which a foot stool is placed in front of a brake foot stool so that the foot stool can be easily and smoothly stepped on.

b. Conventional technology and its problems Conventionally, the speed control and stopping method employed in automobiles is to select and press the accelerator pedal and brake pedal with the right foot. When the car is running normally, your right foot is always on the accelerator pedal, but when you want to stop the car, move your right foot from the accelerator pedal to the brake pedal. This effect does not occur. The average time required for this movement of the right foot is about 0.75 seconds, and if the car is traveling at 90 km/h, the car will move forward 18.75 meters in that 0.75 seconds. Therefore, how the right leg moves and reacts has a great deal to do with the occurrence of an accident. If the driver's mental state is excessively tense or erratic, he or she may press the accelerator pedal as hard as possible instead of pressing the brake pedal, causing the sudden increase in speed and causing a serious accident. may occur.

B. Structure of the invention a Means for solving the problem The present application attempts to solve the above-mentioned problem with the following structure. In other words, in order to eliminate the drawback of pressing the accelerator and brake pedals incorrectly, the present application does not use the conventional accelerator pedal, but instead fixes the accelerator stick to the vehicle body with a support shaft, and attaches a support shaft to one end of the accelerator stick. A single accelerator plate is attached, and this accelerator plate is placed just outside the driver's knees, and by pushing the accelerator plate outward with the knee, the speed of the car can be controlled. The pedals are operated by stepping on them with the foot, and the two operating methods are separated to eliminate their drawbacks.

b Example of implementation of the idea First, refer to Figure 1. This device controls the speed with an accelerator stick 1, but this accelerator stick 1 is fixed to the vehicle body using a support shaft 2.
The accelerator stick 1 can be rotated by being supported by the holder. Further, an accelerator plate 3 on which the outside of the driver's right knee rests is attached to the apex end of the accelerator rod 1, and is positioned exactly to the right of the driver's right knee. or,
The accelerator rod 1 is bent at an angle of about 75° to 90°, and a hole 4 is drilled at the other end of the accelerator rod 1, and the accelerator wire 5 is passed through this hole 4, and then tightened and fixed with a single bolt 6. . As a result, when the accelerator plate 3 is pushed outward with the knee, the accelerator rod 1 is simultaneously pulled outward and the accelerator line 5 is also pulled. Since the accelerator line 5 is connected to the throttle, the throttle is also pulled, and the amount of gasoline jetted out increases or decreases depending on the magnitude of the pulling force.

In addition, in order to facilitate the driver's access and exit, the accelerator rod 1 has one connecting pin 8 in the middle position, and the accelerator rod 1 can be folded at this connecting pin 8. For this reason, when the driver stops the car and gets out of the car, it is convenient for the driver to get in and out without getting in the way by folding the accelerator stick 1 as shown in Figure 4.

Then, in order to make it easier to operate the brakes,
A footstool 7 is provided, and the top surface of this platform has a flat base and a surface slanted upward at 40 degrees. If this footstool 7 is placed in front of the brake pedal so that the foot can be placed, the driver can Accelerator plate 3 with your knees comfortably and smoothly
In addition to being able to push the brake pedal outward, you can also press the brake pedal with the tip of your foot. If the driver has very long legs and can easily press the brake pedal without a footrest, the footrest 7 may not be used and may be removed.

FIG. 2 shows how the accelerator plate 3 is operated. When driving a car, the driver rests his right knee on the outside of the accelerator plate 3, and when he pushes it outward with force, the accelerator line 5 that connects the accelerator stick 1 pulls the throttle, so the pressure is The size of the throttle determines the amount of gasoline ejected from the throttle, so you can control the car accordingly. If the pressure on the accelerator stick 1 is released, the throttle returns to its original position naturally due to the elasticity of the spring, similar to the structure of a general throttle, resulting in a slow state.

Figure 3 shows the situation when operating the brake.
If a dangerous situation occurs and you want to apply the brakes, press the brake pedal with the tip of your foot.
At this time, due to the natural reaction of the human body, the knees are naturally tightened inward, and the accelerator plate 3 is no longer under pressure, so the throttle becomes slow, the speed of the car decreases, and the brake effect is immediately produced.

C. Effects of the invention Conventionally, in order to operate the brakes of a general automobile, the brake pedal is pressed down with the tip of the right foot, but when the car is running normally, the tip of the right foot is always pressing down on the accelerator pedal, so the operation is Depends on foot movement. In the event of an emergency, if the driver becomes excessively nervous, he or she may mistakenly press the accelerator instead of the brake, which is highly dangerous. If the proposed device is installed, the brake pedal will be operated with the tip of the foot as before, but the accelerator plate will be operated with the knee.
The operation methods for the two are differentiated, and there is no longer a need to move the toes as in the past. When encountering a dangerous situation, the feet will naturally apply force straight up, making it easier to move the feet. There will be no time difference and the possibility of an accident will be greatly reduced.
