Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 産業上の利用分野 この発明は、包装機械、詳しくは包装材料としてウェッ
ブを用い、ウェッブをチューブに成形してこれに内容物
を充填し、内容物充填チューブを容器1つ分に相当する
長さ毎に分割してこれを最終的に直方体状容器とする包
装機械に関する。
従来の技術 ウェッブとして、無菌充填の包装機械ではアルミニウム
箔を含む紙主体積層体が用いられるが、アルミニウム箔
を含む紙主体積層体は高価であるため、無菌充填でない
包装機械ではアルミニウム箔の無い紙主体積層体が用い
られる。
アルミニウム箔の無い紙主体積層体製ウェッブが用いら
れる包装機械としては、ウェッブを垂直状チューブに成
形するチューブ成形装置、チューブに内容物を充填する
充填装置および内容物充填チューブを袋状容器に成形す
る容器成形装置が上から順次配置され、容器成形装置が
、内容物充填チューブを容器1つ分に相当する長さ毎に
挾み付けて所要幅をシールしかつシール幅の中間部を切
断するジョーを有しており、ジョーに、ヒートシール用
ヒータが備わっており、ヒータが加熱盤であるものが知
られている。
発明が解決しようとする課題 従来の包装機械では、ヒータが加熱盤であるため、加熱
盤の温度管理を充分に行わないとシール部が溶解しすぎ
たり、溶解が不十分だったりして、シールが確実に行わ
れない恐れがあり、またシール部を積層体の外側から加
熱することになるため、加熱時間がかなり掛かるという
問題点があった。
この発明の目的は、上記問題点を解決し、シールを短時
間で確実に行うことのできる包装機械を提供することに
ある。
課題を解決するための手段 この発明による包装機械は、上記従来の包装機械におい
て、チューブ成形装置より上流のウェッブ移動経路上に
、ウェッブのヒートシールされるべき部分に高周波誘導
加熱用アルミニウム箔テープを張付ける張付は装置が配
置され、ヒータが高周波コイルであることを特徴とする
ものである。
作  用 この発明による包装機械では、チューブ成形装置より上
流のウェッブ移動経路上に、ウニ・ツブのシールされる
べき部分に高周波誘導加熱用アルミニウム箔テープを張
付ける張付は装置が配置されているから、張付は装置で
ウニ・ノブのヒートシールされるべき部分に高周波誘導
加熱用アルミニウム箔テープが張付られる。
ヒータが高周波コイルであるから、シールに際し、高周
波コイルでアルミニウム箔が加熱され、その加熱温度は
高周波コイルに流される電流の強さによってコントロー
ルされる。
実  施  例 この発明の実施例を図面を参照して次に説明する。
包装機械に用いられるウェッブWは、図示しないが、紙
層の両面に熱可塑性合成樹脂層が形成された紙主体積層
体製であり、積層体にアルミニウム箔は含まれていない
包装機械は、第1図に示すように、ウェッブ巻き戻し装
置11を備えている。巻き戻し装置11て巻戻されたウ
ェッブWは、適所に配されたガイドローラに巻掛けられ
て、−旦上向きに導かれた後、右向きに導かれ、最終的
に下向きに導かれている。
ウェッブWの下向き移動経路にそって、ウェッブWをチ
ューブTに成形するチューブ成形装置12、チューブT
に内容物を充填する充填装置13および内容物充填チュ
ーブTを袋状容n Clに成形する第1容器成形装置1
4が上から順次配置されている。第1容器成形装置I4
の下方には、そこを搬送経路の始端として右向きにのび
た容器搬送コンベヤ15が配置されるとともに、その搬
送経路にそって、袋状容器CIを最終的に直方体状容器
C2に成形するための第2容器成形装置16が配置され
ている。これらの各装置11〜16は、いずれもよく知
られており(例えば実開昭61−93010号公報参照
)、詳しい説明は省略するが、第1容器成形装置14に
ついてだけ簡単に説明すると、第1容器成形装置14は
、内容物充填チューブTを容器1つ分に相当する長さ毎
に挟み付けて所要幅をシールしかつシール幅の中間部を
切断するジョー17を有している。ジョー17には、詳
しく図示しないが1.ヒートシール用ヒータ18である
高周波コイルが備わっている。
巻き戻し装置11からチューブ成形装置12までのウェ
ッブの右向き移動経路の左寄りのところには、テープ張
付は装置21が配置されている。
テープ張付は装置21より上流および下流のウェッブ移
動経路には間欠駆動ピンチローラ22.23がそれぞれ
配置されており、下流側ピンチローラ23のすぐ上流に
配置されたマーク検出器24でウェッブWに付けられた
マークを検出し、マーク検出器24の出力信号に基づい
て、間欠駆動ピンチローラ22.23がそれぞれ駆動さ
れることにより、テープ張付は装置21のところをウェ
ッブWが容器1つ分に相当するピッチで間欠的に通過す
るようになっている。下流側ピンチローラ23の下流に
は連続駆動ピンチローラ25が配置され、下流側ピンチ
ローラ24と連続駆動ピンチローラ25の間に垂れ下が
ったU字状のウェッブWにダンサローラ26が掛けられ
ている。連続駆動ピンチローラ25より下流の2つのガ
イドローラの間に垂れ下がったU字状のウェッブWにも
ダンサローラ27が掛けられている。また、上流側間欠
駆動ピンチローラ22とこれの上流に配されたガイドロ
ーラとの間に垂れ下がったU字状のウェッブWにもダン
サローラ28が掛けられている。
テープ張付は装置21は、コイル状に巻かれたアルミニ
ウム箔Fを支持しているリワインダ31と、リワインダ
31から巻戻されたアルミニウム箔Fを、ウェッブWに
張付けられるテープSの幅に等しい長さずつ間欠的に送
るフィードロール32と、フィードロール32から送ら
れてくるアルミニウム箔Fをその間欠送りに等しい長さ
毎に切断してテープSとしてウェッブWの上に落下させ
るカッタ33と、ウェッブWの上に落下したテープSを
ウェッブWに加熱圧着する受台34および昇降加熱押圧
盤35とよりなる。
アルミニウム箔Fの厚みはICIであり、その両面には
厚み30雇のポリエチレンが被覆されている。
第2図に、ウェッブWにテープSが張付けられた状態が
示されている。隣り合う2つのテープSの間隔Pは容器
1つ分の長さに相当する。
テープSは、ウェッブWの幅方向中央部に位置しかつウ
ェッブWがチューブTに成形される際に重ね合わされる
長さだけウェッブWの幅りから減じた長さの丁度半分の
長さMを有している。
また、テープSの幅Nはその長さNの一割程度である。
チューブTに成形されたウェッブWがシールされる際は
、第3図に示すように、ウェッブWのシールすべき部分
にテープSが一重の状態で介在されることになる。
発明の効果 この発明によれば、張付は装置でウェッブのシールされ
るべき部分に高周波誘導加熱用アルミニウム箔テープが
張付られ、シールに際し、高周波コイルでアルミニウム
箔が加熱され、その加熱温度は高周波コイルに流される
電流の強さによってコントロールされるから、冒頭で説
明した加熱盤による場合と比較して、つj−ツブを短時
間でしかも確実にシールを行うことができる。

Claims (1)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 紙層の両面に熱可塑性合成樹脂層が形成されている紙主
    体積層体製ウェッブWを垂直状チューブTに成形するチ
    ューブ成形装置12、チューブTに内容物を充填する充
    填装置13および内容物充填チューブTを袋状容器C1
    に成形する容器成形装置14が上から順次配置され、容
    器成形装置14が、内容物充填チューブTを容器1つ分
    に相当する長さ毎に挟み付けて所要幅をヒートシールし
    かつシール幅の中間部を切断するジョー17を有してお
    り、ジョー17に、ヒートシール用ヒータ18が備わっ
    ている包装機械において、チューブ成形装置12より上
    流のウェッブ移動経路上に、ウェッブWのヒートシール
    されるべき部分に高周波誘導加熱用アルミニウム箔テー
    プSを張付ける張付け装置21が配置され、ヒータ18
    が高周波コイルであることを特徴とする包装機械。
