[Prior Art] Conventionally, as a process prior to forming a warp beam, sizing is carried out as is well known, in order to bond the forming fibers of the yarn to each other to increase yarn strength, or to give the yarn a particular feel and appearance. This is applied to the warp threads, but when the warp threads are wound around the warp beam, the pressure rollers that are shorter than the warp beam length press the warp threads. This inevitably resulted in a difference in tension between the warp yarns, and the ears tended to loosen. As a result, the warp threads at the selvedge parts that are sent out from the warp beam during weaving can become twisted or become tight threads that stick closely to adjacent threads, and when these phenomena occur, various problems occur.

That is, as shown in a general loom in Fig. 8, the warp threads W of the warp thread beam 1 reach the reed 2 side via the tension roller 3, the warp thread breakage detection device 4, etc., and pass along with the weft threads (not shown). It is woven into woven fabric C. The warp breakage detection device 4 consists of a large number of thin plate-shaped droppers 6 corresponding to the number of warp threads, and each dropper 6 is provided with a through hole 6a, and the warp threads normally pass through the through hole 6a. It extends and supports the dropper 6. When a warp yarn breakage occurs, the dropper 6 falls and comes into contact with a contact bar 5 passing through the inside of the dropper, thereby closing an electric circuit (not shown) and detecting a warp yarn breakage.
However, when the above-mentioned phenomenon occurs, the tight yarns may not be separated even when they reach the dropper 6, and in that case, tension is created in the selvage between the upstream and downstream sides of the dropper 6 in the warp traveling direction. In extreme cases, the thin plate-shaped dropper 6 may be twisted and improperly connected to the contact bar 5 due to the close threads being pulled too tightly, causing the loom to stall even though the warp threads are not broken. In some cases, thread breakage even occurred. Also,
The same thing happens in the case of warp twists.

[Problems to be solved by the invention] Therefore, conventional looms have had problems such as tension fluctuations in the ears due to twisting of the warp threads and mutual close contact, wasteful stopping of the loom, and thread breakage.

[Means for Solving the Problems] In order to quickly solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention has a method of separating the warp threads in a loom in which the warp threads wound around the warp beam are guided to the reed side via a dropper. It is equipped with a device. This warp separation device includes, on at least one ear side of the warp beam,
The warp separation member includes a warp separation member disposed between the warp beam and the dropper, and the warp separation member includes:
A plurality of warp guide passages are provided which are spaced apart by a pitch larger than the pitch of the warp immediately after exiting the warp beam and located above other warp threads.

[Operation] The warp wound around the warp beam is guided to the reed side via the dropper. At this time, the warp threads in the selvage pass through the warp guide passage one by one, and the pitch between the warp guide passages is larger than the warp pitch from the warp beam, and the warp guide passage is located above the other warp threads. Therefore, even if the tight yarn comes out, the tight yarn is subjected to member tension in the lateral and upward directions by the warp separating member and is reliably separated before reaching the dropper.

In FIG. 1, the warp threads reach the reed 2 side via a warp beam 1 driven in a manner well known to those skilled in the art, a guide or tension roller 3, the above-mentioned warp breakage detection device 4, etc., as in the conventional case. According to an embodiment of the invention, a warp separation device 7 is provided between the tension roller 3 and the dropper 6 on at least one ear side of the warp beam 1.

As shown in detail in FIGS. 2 to 5, the warp separating member 9 includes a half-split bracket 9b that is attached to the fixed shaft 8 by a bolt 9a, and the upper end of the bracket 9b is , a guide rod 9d attached to the bolt 9c extends in the same direction as the fixed shaft 8. This plate-shaped guide rod 9d is arranged above other warps other than the warp to be guided, and holes 10 are provided in the plate-shaped guide rod 9d at a pitch larger than the warp pitch of the warp beam 1. A plurality of guide parts 12 each having a warp guide passage 11 corresponding to the hole are attached by suitable means.
The guide portion 12 is preferably made of abrasion-resistant material such as ceramic, and is preferably chamfered as shown in FIG. 5 in order to more smoothly separate the warp threads.

Since the warp separation device 7 as described above is provided, the warp W from the warp beam 1 on the ear side passes through the warp guide passage 11 and the hole 10 corresponding to the passage 11 before reaching the dropper 6. pass through.
Therefore, as shown in FIG .
Since the pitch is larger than the warp pitch and the warp guide passage 11 is located above other warp threads, the thread W 1 is subjected to separation tension in the lateral and upward directions, and the guide portion of the warp separation member 9 12 to ensure separation.

In the above embodiments, the warp guide passage 11 was formed into a completely closed, almost morning glory shape by the ring-shaped guide parts 12, but as shown in FIG. As shown in FIG. 7, the warp guide passage 11 may be made substantially linear by forming each guide portion 12 integrally with the warp separating member 9 in a comb shape. In this case as well, the warp separation effect can be reliably achieved as in the embodiment described above.

[Effect of the invention] As described above, according to the invention, the warp threads in the selvedge pass through the warp guide passages one by one, and the pitch between the warp guide passages is larger than the warp pitch from the warp beam. Since the warp guide passage is arranged above other warp threads, even if a tight thread comes out, it will be reliably separated by the warp separation member before reaching the dropper, so that it will not be caused by warp twists or close contact. It is possible to prevent tension fluctuations in the selvedges, wasteful stopping of the loom, thread breakage, etc.
