Description

The invention relates to a weaving machine with a registration system for a plurality of generally different weft threads according to the preamble of claim 1 (US Pat. EP-A-0 461 524 ).

For introducing a plurality of weft threads, systems are known which, for each weft thread, have at least one thread supply, a thread store with brake integrated on the take-off side, e.g. in the form of a brush ring, a thread monitor, a thread brake, and a thread rug as part of a color selector and a gripper include. The weft threads extend from the thread supply via the thread store, the thread monitor, the thread brake and the thread rug either into the fabric in which the weft thread is incorporated or into a thread clamp in which the weft thread is held. To enter a weft thread this is displaced by the thread rug into the raceway of the gripper and received by the gripper. The wrapped weft thread is cut off and entered into the open shed. The clamped weft thread is entered and struck and cut off after the nip.

A disadvantage of this registration system proves that for each weft yarn thread monitor and at least one yarn brake is provided, in which the retracted weft thread always remains. As a result of the abrasion, the thread brake becomes dirty, so that the thread brake has to be cleaned periodically in order to avoid yarn breaks.

The invention has for its object to provide a loom with a simplified and reliable registration system.

This object is achieved according to the invention by the characterizing features of claim 1.

In the registration system with a thread supply, a thread store, a color picker and a gripper, the weft threads extend from the thread supply via the thread store and the thread rollover of the color selector in the tissue. Here is dispensed with the usual thread guide between yarn store and color selector, so that only a friction point formed by the thread rug is present. The color selector sets by means of a thread rug in each case a weft before the gripper, which takes over the weft and enters into the open shed. It is merely a thread brake provided to brake the respectively presented weft. Because each weft thread is pulled into the thread brake, the thread brake cleans itself.

The invention will be explained with reference to the accompanying drawings, which are embodiments in a schematic representation.

It will be on the Figures 1 and 2 Referenced. The figures show an embodiment of a registration system with, for example, four weft threads are entered with eg different color or thickness and / or structure. The registration system contains for each weft thread 1 a supply reel 2, a yarn store 3 integrated on the yarn withdrawal side brake eg in the form of a brush ring and a color picker 4 with four thread rugs 5 and for all four weft threads together guide members 6 to calm the submitted weft thread, in the area of action the thread ripper 5 are arranged as well as a yarn brake 7, a sensor 8, with which the yarn tension measured and monitored weft thread is monitored and a thread monitor 9 for detecting an unintentional double shot, which are arranged downstream of the color picker 4 in the direction of the thread and a gripper 10th The supply reels 2, the yarn stores 3 and the color picker 4 are arranged in a known manner on the weaving machine. The guide members 6, the thread brake 7, the sensor 8 and the thread monitor 9 are arranged on a guide part 11 for the gripper. The guide members 6 are formed as pins. The thread rugs 5, the thread brake 7, the sensor 8 and the thread monitor 9 are signal-transmitting connected to a control device (not shown) of the loom to control the entry.

At the beginning of the registration, the weft threads 1 are in a holding position ( Fig.1 ), which extend from the yarn store 3 on the thread rug 4 in the fabric 11A and are held outside the career of the gripper. For entry, due to a control command, the corresponding thread rug 4 will shift the weft thread to be inserted into the shed from the holding position into a transfer position. In this transfer position, the weft thread 1 crosses the raceway of the gripper. At the same time, the weft thread is applied to the guide members 6 to calm the weft. During movement into the shed 14 formed by the warp threads 12, the gripper with its thread clamp 15 picks up the weft thread presented. In this case, the weft thread tied in the fabric is introduced into the nip of the thread clamp, so that the weft thread is held in the thread clamp ( Fig.2 ). In the further course of the movement of the gripper is on the one hand means the thread monitor 9 scanned the weft and on the other hand, the weft thread pulled into the brake gap of the yarn brake 7. Subsequently, the weft thread is cut in the region of the fabric edge by means of a cutting device. Finally, the weft yarn is brought into contact with the sensor 8 to measure the course of the yarn tension during the entry of the weft yarn and optionally in the same or a subsequent entry cycle as needed to change and monitor the weft thread, for example, to determine a yarn break and a weaving machine stop signal leave.

In the Figure 3 The design shown differs from the design Fig.1 in that, in addition to the first yarn brake 7, a second yarn brake 21 is provided in order, for example, to increase the braking effect and / or to distribute the braking force over a longer yarn section. This yarn brake is provided with guide bracket 22 to introduce the weft yarn to be presented safely in the yarn brake 21.

The Figure 4 shows a third embodiment of a registration system. This version is different from Fig. 1 and 2 in that the yarn brake 7 is arranged on the batten. The advantage of this solution is that the effect of the thread brake is maintained until the time of leaf strike.

The Figure 5 shows an embodiment with a wrap friction brake. This yarn brake 25 is formed from two brake pins 26 and the respective thread rug 5, which presents a selected weft. This version represents the simplest solution, with which in addition to the template function and the braking function is executable. In this case, the size of the loop and thus the braking effect on the amount of draft of the thread roving in relation to the brake pins controllable.

The Figure 6 shows a modified version of the yarn brake after Figure 5 , The yarn brake 27 includes two fixed bracket 28, which are mounted at a distance from each other on the guide member 11 for the gripper and a linearly movable bracket 29 which is connected to a servomotor 30 and relative to the fixed brackets 28 is adjustable. It goes without saying that several fixed as well as movable bracket can be provided with, for example, the distribution of a reduced stroke.

In the embodiments described above, different embodiments of yarn brakes, e.g. those with automatic adjustment of the braking force or with a braking force control can be applied, which are operated electrically, pneumatically or in any other suitable form.

The weaving machine includes a registration system for a plurality of generally different weft threads, which comprises a thread supply 2, a yarn store 3 and a color picker 4 for selectively presenting the weft threads and a gripper 10 for entering the weft thread presented for each weft. At least one thread brake 7 common to all the weft threads is provided in order to brake the respective weft thread 1 as required during registration.

In addition to the simple mechanical design, the ease of use and control is considered an advantage.
