(Technology of invention) In conventional fragment looms such as injection type,
A plurality of yarn end catching yarns are arranged on the side opposite to the weft insertion side of the warp row, and while these yarns are pulled at the same speed as the warp yarns or at a slightly higher speed, they are opened and closed almost in the same way as the warp yarns. The end of the inserted weft is woven into and captured by the closing motion. After the weft is beaten, the captured yarn end is cut off, and the yarn end is carried out of the machine while being held by the yarn end capturing yarn.
The twisting device twists the yarn end catching yarn into a bundle during the above-mentioned pulling process to prevent the yarn end from falling out.

FIG. 4 schematically shows such a conventional device.
1 is a warp row, 2 is, for example, four yarn end catching yarns, 3 and 4 are healds for opening and closing warp yarn row 1 and yarn end catching yarn 2, respectively, 5 is a reed, 6 is a weft insertion nozzle, 7 Reference numeral 8 indicates the weft inserted by this weft inserting nozzle, 8 indicates the woven fabric, 9 indicates the woven fabric, and 10 indicates a weft cutter placed in front of the woven fabric 8 (lower in the figure).

In addition, in the system of the yarn end catching yarn 2, 12 is a yarn guide placed in front of the woven fabric 8, 13 is a traction device consisting of a driving roller 13a and a driven roller 13b;
Reference numeral 20 denotes a twisting device disposed between this pulling device and the yarn guide 12, which draws the four yarn end catching yarns that have passed through the reed 5 through the yarn guide 12 and bundles them, and bundles the yarn bundle 2a. While being twisted by the twisting device 20, it is pinched and pulled between the driving roller 13a and the driven roller 13b. Therefore, the opening/closing motion is performed between the heddle 4 and the yarn guide 12, and the yarn end catching yarn is opened just before beating and the yarn end 7a is woven in, and then two or three picks later, the weft yarn is cut. It is brought to point 10 and separated from the matrix weft 7.

FIG. 5 shows the structure of the twisting device 20. In the same figure, reference numeral 21 is a spindle, which crushes the front part of the pipe material to create an inclined surface 2.
2 and a flat part 23, and through holes 24 and 25 are formed in the flat part 23 and the inclined surface 22, respectively.
6 is drilled. The spindle 21 is supported by a bearing 27 and rotationally driven by a belt 29 via a pulley 28. 30 is a guide. After being guided by the guide 30, the yarn bundle 2a is passed from the front side of the flat plate portion 23 through the through hole 24 to the back side thereof, further through the through hole 25 to the front side, and further through the through hole 26 into the inside of the spindle 21. It will be pulled through. Therefore, the yarn bundle 2a is twisted by the rotation of the spindle.

(Problem) However, in this conventional device, there is a problem in that although the yarn end catching yarn is a waste yarn, it is necessary to use a yarn having a considerably high tensile strength.

(Means of the present invention) The means of the present invention that solves the above problem includes a spindle passing through a thread passage hole in the axial direction, and a twister made of a wire protruding from the tip of the spindle. The wire starts from the tip end, curves toward one of the shaft centers, reaches the shaft center or its vicinity, and further curves while biasing toward the other shaft center. The yarn end catching yarn is formed into a forked loop shape with the front side expanding back to the tip, and the yarn end catching yarn is passed between the two forked tips and engaged with a wire located at or near the axis to thread the rear spindle. It is drawn through a hole.

(Function) According to the above means, the loop is bifurcated and the front portions of the loop are separated from each other, so that the yarn end catching yarn can be passed through the two-pronged tip portions into the thread passing hole of the spindle with great ease. The thread end catching thread that has been pulled through engages with a wire located at or near the shaft center. Therefore, when the spindle is rotated, the engaging portion rotates around the yarn end catching yarn, so that the catching yarn is twisted due to the frictional force between the two.

In this case, it is possible to advance the yarn end catching yarn by pulling it with a force sufficient to overcome the frictional force, and furthermore, the catching yarn can move while being engaged with the wire, so that the opening/closing movement Even if there is a variation in the path length of the yarn due to such factors, this can be absorbed by the above-mentioned movement, and therefore the tension variation due to this variation can also be alleviated.

This twisting device 30 is connected to the yarn guide 1 (FIG. 1).
2 and the pulling device 13, and the yarn bundle 2a
When the yarn bundle is introduced into the thread threading hole 32 from between the loop front portions 34a and 34b, one side of the yarn bundle is engaged with the loop rear portion 34c. And spindle 31
With the rotation, this engaging portion rotates and twists the yarn bundle 2a. Further, when the path length of the yarn end catching yarn 2 and therefore the yarn bundle tension increases or decreases due to the opening/closing movement, etc., the yarn bundle tension tends to increase or becomes easy to bend. Therefore, the above-mentioned engaging part is the loop rear part 34.
move on the slope c to alleviate tension fluctuations.

However, the illustrated embodiment, as shown in FIG.
Suitable for changing the direction of the yarn bundle 2a using the groove wheel type guide roller 14 as a yarn guide, the yarn bundle 2a is introduced diagonally from below the axis X-X and looped as shown in FIG. It is actively bent at the rear portion 34c. As a result, when the spindle 31 is in the illustrated rotational phase, the frictional force of the engaging portion becomes maximum, and becomes minimum when rotated by 180 degrees from this phase. As a result, the twisting force varies in strength, and the strong twisting force can be spread to the vicinity of the fabric front 8 against the frictional force with the guide roller 14. In this case, instead of introducing the yarn bundle 2a obliquely,
The loop rear portion 34c may be offset by an appropriate amount from the axis XX.

Note that the twisting device 30 can perform the same function even if it is installed in the opposite direction.

(Effects) As explained above, according to the present invention, the traction force of the yarn end catching yarn can be reduced, so that an inexpensive yarn with low tensile strength can be used as the catching yarn.
