【発明の詳細な説明】
（産業上の利用分野）
本発明は、優れた抗フケ効果を有する頭髪用化粧料に関
する。 更に詳しくは、安息香酸とヒノキチオール及び
／又はメラレウカオイル（オーストラリア原産Ｍｅｌａ
ｌｅｕｋａ ａｌｔｅｒｎｉｆｏｉａの精油）を含有す
ることにより、細菌、特にフケの原因となるといわれて
いるピチロスポラム オパール（Ｐｉｔｙｒｏｓｐｏｒ
ｕｍ ｏｖａｌｅ）に対する抗菌作用を有する化合物を
配合してなる頭髪用化粧料に関する。

（従来の技術）
一般に、フケは皮脂腺の分泌物・汗腺の分泌物・表皮層
の剥離物等からなり、通常は皮脂腺等の分泌昂進により
発生し、また皮膚の細菌、特にＰｉｔｙｒｏｓｐｏｒｕ
＋ｓ ｏｖａｌｅの繁殖により、助長されるといわれて
いる。 このため従来から抗菌剤・殺菌剤を添加した頭
髪用化粧料がフケ防止のために使用されていた。 中で
も最も有効とされているものはジンクピリチオンである
。 また、安息香酸、ヒノキチオール、メラレウカオイ
ルにも一般に抗菌力・殺菌力があることは知られている
。

（発明が解決しようとする問題点）
しかしながら、安息香酸、ヒノキチオール、メラレウカ
オイルなどの抗菌剤・殺菌剤は安全性の問題から、充分
な効果を示す濃度での使用は避けることが好ましい。
また、ジンクピリチオンは水、エタノールにほとんど溶
けないため、沈降などの問題があり、低粘度の製品に配
合することは困難である。

（問題点を解決するための手段）
本発明者らは、上記事情に鑑み鋭意研究を重ねた結果、
安息香酸と、ヒノキチオール及び／又はメラレウカオイ
ルの混合物がＰｉｔｙｒｏｓｐｏｒｕｍ ｏｖａｌｅ
に対し強い抗菌力を示し、かつ安全性も高いことを発見
し、本発明を完成させるに至った。

すなわち本発明は、
■安息香酸とヒノキチオール

れかの組合せを配合した強い抗菌・殺菌作用をもち、か
つ安全性の高い頭髪用化粧料に関する。

配合量は、特に限定されないが、抗菌・殺菌作用と安全
性を考慮すると、安息香酸０．００１ 〜１．０重量％
、ヒノキチオール０．００１ 〜１．０重量％、メラレ
ウカオイル０．Ｏ１〜２．０重量％、総量で０．０１〜
３．０重量％程度が望ましい。

本発明の頭髪用化粧料とは、頭皮または頭髪に使用する
ものを広く指し、ヘアシャンプー、ヘアリンス、ヘアト
ニック、頭皮用乳液など頭皮に直接塗布または、洗浄に
