Description
TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to a passenger conveyor such as an escalator that detects the stagnation of passengers near an exit and controls speed such as deceleration, stopping, and re-acceleration. The present invention relates to a passenger conveyor that determines the congestion situation at an exit from the number of groups or the number of people and the stagnation situation at the exit, and performs speed control or the like.
Some passenger conveyors, such as escalators and moving walkways, detect the presence of passengers in the vicinity of an exit, and control the speed of the passenger conveyor, that is, the moving speed of steps to decelerate, accelerate, or stop. However, even if stagnation occurs near the exit, if there are few passengers on the escalator, there is no need to slow down the escalator. Sometimes.
Therefore, in

The congestion determination means includes passenger position detection means for calculating a loading rate of passengers on the passenger conveyor based on the number of groups or the number of passengers detected by the entrance passenger detection means. Congestion status of the exit can be determined based on the rate and information from the exit exit congestion detecting means.
The congestion determination means identifies the steps on which the passengers boarded detected by the entrance passenger detection means, and calculates the timing of arriving at the exit from the positions and numbers of the steps on which the passengers board. A detecting means may be provided to determine the congestion state of the exit on the basis of the position and the number of the steps on which the passengers have boarded.
The entrance passenger detection means and/or the exit dwelling detection means may be range sensors.
In the passenger conveyor of the present invention, the entrance passenger detection means acquires the number of groups or the number of passengers passing through the entrance to board the passenger conveyor. In addition, the exit gate retention detection means detects passengers at the exit gate. Then, the congestion determination means determines the congestion state based on the obtained number of groups or number of passengers and the stay state calculated from the passengers detected at the exit, and controls the motor. The number of groups or the number of passengers boarding from the boarding gate is directly detected by the passenger detection means. can be understood correctly. Since it is possible to correctly determine the number of passengers arriving at the exit from the number of groups or the number of passengers, and to determine and predict the congestion situation, the speed of the passenger conveyor can be gently changed to prevent sudden deceleration, etc. It is possible to prevent unforeseen situations such as overturning and falling, and to prevent deterioration of ride comfort. It is also possible to calculate the load factor of the passenger conveyor from the number of groups or the number of passengers on the passenger conveyor and use it for the above control.
An embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. In the following description, the
An
In this embodiment, the
As shown in FIGS. 1 to 4, an
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the entrance passenger detection means 40 has a
Although the phototube can detect a group of passengers passing through the
When the range sensor described above is employed as the entrance passenger detection means 40, it is possible to detect not only the number of groups of passengers on the
As shown in FIGS. 1, 3 and 4, in the present embodiment, the exit gate
FIG. 4 is a schematic diagram of the
More specifically, the
The congestion determination means 32 has a passenger position detection means 33 connected to the entrance passenger detection means 40 and a stagnation determination means 34 connected to the exit stagnation detection means 50 .
The passenger position detection means 33 detects the number of groups or the number of passengers 60 (in this embodiment, the number of groups of passengers) who got on each
For example, as shown in FIG. 6, an
As described above, based on the ON/OFF signal of the entrance passenger detection means 40 and the movement of the
Based on the information received from the exit door retention detection means 50, the retention determination means 34 determines the current retention status of the
As shown in FIG. 5, the
The
The distance data acquired by the
The center-of-
The calculated center-of-
The
Then, the moving speed of the center of
The congestion status of passengers at the
Then, the
Specifically, the
In other words, when a new passenger arrives at the
Further, when it is determined or predicted that congestion at the
Note that, when congestion occurs or is predicted to occur, the congestion determining means 32 can, for example, make an announcement to leave from the
In the present invention, the
As described above, according to the present invention, by taking into consideration not only the congestion situation at the
In the above embodiment, the number of passengers arriving at the
In the above-described embodiment, the passenger detection means 40 is installed only at the

- Data acquisition step -
When the measurement of the situation of the
If the object is not detected in step S2, the moving speed data of the center of gravity is reset, and the cumulative data is also reset (step S3).
-Gravity center position and movement speed calculation step-
When the object is detected by the
From the position of the center of
Note that the center-of-gravity velocity calculated by Equation 3 indicates the speed at which the distance data obtained by the
In this embodiment, since the distance data group in the measurement area T of the
<Escalator (motor) speed control>
If the obtained average center-of-gravity velocity is equal to or higher than the predetermined velocity (V1) (YES in step S7), there is no accumulation at the
If the average center-of-gravity velocity is lower than V1 (NO in step S7, YES in step S9), it is determined that a stagnation is occurring at the
<Control by escalator loading rate>
When the average center-of-gravity velocity value is less than V2, which is set to be even slower than V1 (NO in step S9), the load factor of the
Specifically, if the loading rate is less than L% in step S11 (YES in step S11), and if the speed of the
If the loading rate is L% or more in step S11, it means that many passenger groups are on the
<Control by the width of the detected object occupying the entrance>
Therefore, if step S11 is NO, the process proceeds to step S14, and the
First, as shown in FIG. 9, in the X-axis direction, the
The width of each of the
<Pattern 2: When an object is detected across the measurement areas TR and TL>
In pattern 2, as shown in FIG. 10, for example, one person passes through the center of the
(Pattern 3: When one object becomes the blind spot of the other object and cannot be detected by the
Specifically, as shown in FIG. 11, the
In this case, the
In pattern 3, it is assumed that the
As described above, the
As shown in step S14, the
On the other hand, if the width of the detected object is W % or more (step S15), the
