- 容器と、前記容器内にアルカリ電解液とともに収容された電極群とを備え、
前記電極群は、セパレータを介して重ね合わされた正極及び負極を有しており、
前記正極は、組成の異なる正極活物質を2種類以上含んでおり、
前記正極活物質のそれぞれは、水酸化ニッケルを主成分としており、マグネシウムの固溶量が互いに異なっており、
前記正極活物質は、第1正極活物質と、第2正極活物質とを含んでおり、前記第1正極活物質と、前記第2正極活物質とを混ぜ合わせて得られた正極活物質粒子の集合体である正極活物質粉末であり、
前記第1正極活物質に含まれるマグネシウムの固溶量をAとし、前記第2正極活物質に含まれるマグネシウムの固溶量をBとした場合に、A>B≧0の関係を満たしており、
前記第1正極活物質は、前記第2正極活物質よりも多く含まれている、ニッケル水素二次電池。 - 前記Aが2.0質量%以上、5.0質量%以下である、請求項1に記載のニッケル水素二次電池。
- 前記Aが2.48質量%以上、4.05質量%以下である、請求項1に記載のニッケル水素二次電池。
- 前記Bが0質量%である、請求項2又は3に記載のニッケル水素二次電池。
