Description
各試験タイヤを、リムサイズ21×11.0Jのホイール(ETRTO標準リム)に組み付け、空気圧を220kPa(Reinforced/Extra Load Tires)とし、プランジャー径19±1.6mmのプランジャーを負荷速度(プランジャーの押し込み速度)50.0±1.5m/minの条件でトレッド中央部に押し付けるタイヤ破壊試験を行い、タイヤ強度(タイヤの破壊エネルギー)を測定した。評価結果は、測定された破壊エネルギーの実数値(単位:J)にて示した。この値が大きいほど破壊エネルギーが大きく、耐ショックバースト性に優れることを意味する。尚、この値が「640J」以上であれば、充分な耐ショックバースト性が得られており、この値が「660J」以上であると、非常に優れた耐ショックバースト性が得られたことを意味する。
各試験タイヤを、リムサイズ21×11.0Jのホイール(ETRTO標準リム)に組み付け、空気圧を260kPaとし、試験車両に装着し、乾燥路面からなるテストコースにて、テストドライバーによる官能評価を行った。評価結果は、従来例1を100とする指数にて示した。この指数値が大きいほど操縦安定性に優れることを意味する。尚、この指数値が「97」以上であれば、従来レベルを維持して充分な操縦安定性が得られており、この指数値が「99」以上であると、操縦安定性の維持効果が非常に優れていることを意味する。

Claims (8)
- タイヤ周方向に延在して環状をなすトレッド部と、該トレッド部の両側に配置された一対のサイドウォール部と、これらサイドウォール部のタイヤ径方向内側に配置された一対のビード部とを備え、該一対のビード部間に装架されたカーカス層と、前記トレッド部における該カーカス層の外周側に配置された補強層とを有し、前記トレッド部の外表面にタイヤ周方向に沿って延びる2本以上の周方向溝が形成された空気入りタイヤにおいて、
前記周方向溝によって区画されてタイヤ赤道上に位置するセンター陸部の内圧を充填しない状態のタイヤ子午線断面における輪郭線がタイヤ径方向外側に凸となるように湾曲し、
前記カーカス層および前記補強層が前記センター陸部の下方域でタイヤ径方向内側に凸となるように湾曲した窪み部を有し、前記窪み部の幅が前記センター陸部の幅の10%〜40%であることを特徴とする空気入りタイヤ。 - 前記トレッド部のゴムゲージが5mm〜15mmであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 内圧を充填しない状態で、タイヤ子午線断面において前記センター陸部の両エッジからそれぞれ前記補強層に対して垂線を引いたときの前記補強層の外表面と各垂線との交点どうしを結んだ直線に対する前記窪み部の最大凹み量Dが0.5mm〜2.0mmであることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記窪み部の最大凹み位置がタイヤ赤道から前記センター陸部の幅の10%以内であることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記窪み部の外周側に補助補強層を備えることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記補助補強層が前記トレッド部を構成するゴム組成物よりも伸び300%時の引張応力が大きいゴム組成物で構成されたことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記補助補強層がゴム中に補強コードが埋設された構造を有することを特徴とする請求項5に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記補助補強層の幅が前記センター陸部の幅の10%〜40%であることを特徴とする請求項5〜7のいずれかに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
