Description
スレッド14上に設ける2種類の異なる凹凸構造パターン16、18の基材としてポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)フィルムを用い、このPETフィルム上に、紫外線硬化性樹脂を、グラビアコーターを用いて塗布した。この樹脂層を、2種類の凹凸構造パターンのうち逆光で観察される図柄の領域の凹凸構造パターンの表面積が、凹凸構造がないときの表面積の1.8倍である凹凸構造を設けた金属ロール版に押し当て、メタルハライドランプを用い紫外線を照射した。その後、金属ロールを剥離して所望の構造を形成し、真空蒸着法により、アルミニウムの反射層22を積層した。このフィルムにグラビアコーターを用いて接着剤を塗工し、スレッド14を作製した。
実施例1のスレッド14に反射層22を積層した凹凸構造層と、接着層24の間に前述したような印刷層を設けて、実施例1と同様の方法で、偽造防止用紙1を作製した。
2種類の凹凸構造パターンのうち逆光で観察される図柄の領域の凹凸構造パターンの表面積が、凹凸構造がないときの表面積の1.5倍である凹凸構造を設けた金属ロール版を用い、実施例1と同様な方法で、偽造防止用紙1を作製した。

実施例1乃至3および比較例1で得た偽造防止用紙1に対して、窓空き部20、窓空き部20ではなく紙で覆われている部分(例えば、図2における表面層10)を順光環境下および逆光環境下でそれぞれ確認し、真偽判定のし易さの評価を行った。
Claims (4)
- 偽造されると、所望される図柄が観察されなくなる偽造防止用紙であって、
用紙と、前記用紙中に漉き込まれたスレッドとを備え、
前記スレッドに、それぞれ金属薄膜層で覆われた第1の凹凸構造領域と第2の凹凸構造領域とを複数配設し、
前記第1の凹凸構造領域は、それぞれ第1のサイズを有する複数の第1の凹凸構造からなり、
前記第2の凹凸構造領域は、それぞれ第2のサイズを有する複数の第2の凹凸構造からなり、
前記第1の凹凸構造と、前記第2の凹凸構造とは、前記金属薄膜層に面する表面積が異なり、
前記第1の凹凸構造の幅と高さとの比であるアスペクト比が0.5以上1.0以下であり、
前記第2の凹凸構造の幅と高さとの比であるアスペクト比が0.05以上0.2以下であり、
前記スレッドの一部を露出するように、前記用紙に窓空き部を設け、
前記スレッドの露出面側から順光で観察される図柄と、逆光で観察される図柄とが異なり、
前記逆光で観察される図柄の領域に配設された前記第1の凹凸構造と前記第2の凹凸構造との前記表面積の合計が、凹凸構造がないときの前記図柄の領域の表面積の1.5倍以上である、偽造防止用紙。 - 前記逆光で観察される図柄が細線である、請求項1に記載の偽造防止用紙。
- 前記金属薄膜層を接着層で覆った、請求項1乃至2のうち何れか1項に記載の偽造防止用紙。
- 前記スレッドの少なくとも片面に、印刷層を積層した請求項1乃至3のうち何れか1項に記載の偽造防止用紙。
