Description
(1)
導体芯線と前記導体芯線を覆う被覆とを含む電線の先端に接続され、板状部材から作製されて前後方向に延びる端子であって、
相手側端子に接続される接続部と、
前記接続部より後方側に位置し、前記電線の被覆を固定する被覆固定部と、
前記接続部と前記被覆固定部との間に位置し、前記電線から露出した前記導体芯線を固定する導体固定部と、を一体に備え、
前記導体固定部は、前記前後方向から一側に傾斜して延びる傾斜部であって板厚方向に貫通する貫通孔を備えた傾斜部を備え、
前記導体芯線が前記貫通孔に挿通した状態で、前記導体固定部の所定箇所を前記一側と反対の他側に治具で押し付けて前記導体固定部を塑性変形させて前記貫通孔の端縁を前記導体芯線に食い込ませることで、前記導体固定部が前記導体芯線を固定するように構成された、端子であること。

上記(1)に記載の端子において、
前記導体固定部は、
前記接続部の後端部に接続し、前記接続部の後端部から後方側且つ前記一側に傾斜して延びる第1傾斜部であって板厚方向に貫通する第1貫通孔を備えた第1傾斜部と、
前記被覆固定部の前端部に接続し、前記被覆固定部の前端部から前方側且つ前記一側に傾斜して延びる第2傾斜部であって板厚方向に貫通する第2貫通孔を備えた第2傾斜部と、
前記第1傾斜部及び前記第2傾斜部の延出端部同士を連結する連結部と、を一体に備え、
前記電線の前記導体芯線が前記第1及び第2貫通孔に挿通した状態で、前記連結部を前記他側に治具で押し付けて前記導体固定部を塑性変形させて前記第1及び第2貫通孔のそれぞれの端縁を前記導体芯線に食い込ませることで、前記導体固定部が前記導体芯線を固定するように構成された、端子であること。

上記(1)又は上記(2)に記載の端子に前記電線を接続する方法であって、
ハウジングの端子収容部に前記端子を収容する工程と、
前記端子収容部に収容された前記端子の前記貫通孔に前記電線から露出した前記導体芯線を挿通する工程と、
前記導体芯線が前記貫通孔に挿通した状態で、前記導体固定部の前記所定箇所を前記他側に治具で押し付けて前記導体固定部を塑性変形させて前記貫通孔の端縁を前記導体芯線に食い込ませることで、前記導体固定部に前記導体芯線を固定する工程と、
を含む、方法であること。
以下、図面を参照しながら、本発明の実施形態に係る端子10を含むコネクタ1について説明する。以下、説明の便宜上、コネクタ1の軸方向(嵌合方向)において、相手側端子(図示省略)が嵌合する側(図1において左側)を前方側とし、その反対側(図1において右側)を後方側と呼ぶ。また、図1において上側及び下側をそれぞれ、上側及び下側と呼ぶ。
なお、本発明は上記各実施形態に限定されることはなく、本発明の範囲内において種々の変形例を採用することができる。例えば、本発明は、上述した実施形態に限定されるものではなく、適宜、変形、改良、等が可能である。その他、上述した実施形態における各構成要素の材質、形状、寸法、数、配置箇所、等は本発明を達成できるものであれば任意であり、限定されない。

導体芯線(W1)と前記導体芯線(W1)を覆う被覆(W2)とを含む電線(W)の先端に接続され、板状部材から作製されて前後方向に延びる端子(10)であって、
相手側端子に接続される接続部(11)と、
前記接続部(11)より後方側に位置し、前記電線(W)の被覆(W2)を固定する被覆固定部(13)と、
前記接続部(11)と前記被覆固定部(13)との間に位置し、前記電線(W)から露出した前記導体芯線(W1)を固定する導体固定部(12)と、を一体に備え、
前記導体固定部(12)は、前記前後方向から一側に傾斜して延びると共に板厚方向に貫通する貫通孔(15)を備えた傾斜部(12a,12b)を備え、
前記導体芯線(W1)が前記貫通孔(15)に挿通した状態で、前記導体固定部(12)の所定箇所を前記一側と反対の他側に押し付けて前記貫通孔(15)の端縁を前記導体芯線(W1)に食い込ませることで、前記導体固定部(12)が前記導体芯線(W1)を固定するように構成された、端子(10)。

上記[1]に記載の端子(10)において、
前記導体固定部(12)は、
前記接続部(11)の後端部に接続し、前記接続部(11)の後端部から後方側且つ前記一側に傾斜して延びると共に板厚方向に貫通する第1貫通孔(15)を備えた第1傾斜部(12a)と、
前記被覆固定部(13)の前端部に接続し、前記被覆固定部(13)の前端部から前方側且つ前記一側に傾斜して延びると共に板厚方向に貫通する第2貫通孔(15)を備えた第2傾斜部(12b)と、
前記第1傾斜部(12a)及び前記第2傾斜部(12b)の延出端部同士を連結する連結部(12c)と、を一体に備え、
前記電線(W)の前記導体芯線(W1)が前記第1及び第2貫通孔(15)に挿通した状態で、前記連結部(12c)を前記他側に押し付けて前記第1及び第2貫通孔(15)のそれぞれの端縁を前記導体芯線(W1)に食い込ませることで、前記導体固定部(12)が前記導体芯線(W1)を固定するように構成された、端子(10)。

上記[1]又は上記[2]に記載の端子(10)に前記電線(W)を接続する方法であって、
ハウジング(20)の端子収容部に前記端子(10)を収容する工程と、
前記端子収容部に収容された前記端子(10)の前記貫通孔(15)に前記電線(W)から露出した前記導体芯線(W1)を挿通する工程と、
前記導体芯線(W1)が前記貫通孔(15)に挿通した状態で、前記導体固定部(12)の前記所定箇所を前記他側に押し付けて前記貫通孔(15)の端縁を前記導体芯線(W1)に食い込ませることで、前記導体固定部(12)に前記導体芯線(W1)を固定する工程と、
を含む、方法。

Claims (3)
- 導体芯線と前記導体芯線を覆う被覆とを含む電線の先端に接続され、板状部材から作製されて前後方向に延びる端子であって、
相手側端子に接続される接続部と、
前記接続部より後方側に位置し、前記電線の被覆を固定する被覆固定部と、
前記接続部と前記被覆固定部との間に位置し、前記電線から露出した前記導体芯線を固定する導体固定部と、を一体に備え、
前記導体固定部は、前記前後方向から一側に傾斜して延びる傾斜部であって板厚方向に貫通する貫通孔を備えた傾斜部を備え、
前記導体芯線が前記貫通孔に挿通した状態で、前記導体固定部の所定箇所を前記一側と反対の他側に治具で押し付けて前記導体固定部を塑性変形させて前記貫通孔の端縁を前記導体芯線に食い込ませることで、前記導体固定部が前記導体芯線を固定するように構成された、端子。 - 請求項1に記載の端子において、
前記導体固定部は、
前記接続部の後端部に接続し、前記接続部の後端部から後方側且つ前記一側に傾斜して延びる第1傾斜部であって板厚方向に貫通する第1貫通孔を備えた第1傾斜部と、
前記被覆固定部の前端部に接続し、前記被覆固定部の前端部から前方側且つ前記一側に傾斜して延びる第2傾斜部であって板厚方向に貫通する第2貫通孔を備えた第2傾斜部と、
前記第1傾斜部及び前記第2傾斜部の延出端部同士を連結する連結部と、を一体に備え、
前記電線の前記導体芯線が前記第1及び第2貫通孔に挿通した状態で、前記連結部を前記他側に治具で押し付けて前記導体固定部を塑性変形させて前記第1及び第2貫通孔のそれぞれの端縁を前記導体芯線に食い込ませることで、前記導体固定部が前記導体芯線を固定するように構成された、端子。 - 請求項1又は請求項2に記載の端子に前記電線を接続する方法であって、
ハウジングの端子収容部に前記端子を収容する工程と、
前記端子収容部に収容された前記端子の前記貫通孔に前記電線から露出した前記導体芯線を挿通する工程と、
前記導体芯線が前記貫通孔に挿通した状態で、前記導体固定部の前記所定箇所を前記他側に治具で押し付けて前記導体固定部を塑性変形させて前記貫通孔の端縁を前記導体芯線に食い込ませることで、前記導体固定部に前記導体芯線を固定する工程と、
を含む、方法。
