図2を参照すると、点火回路ユニット31は、点火コイル311と、IGBT312(スイッチング素子に該当)と、電源部313と、点火制御回路314と、が設けられている。
Claims (10)
- 内燃機関(11)の気筒内の可燃混合気に点火するための放電火花を一対の放電電極の間にて発生させる点火プラグ(19)と、
一次コイル(311A)及び二次コイル(311B)を具備し、前記二次コイルにより前記点火プラグに二次電圧を印加する点火コイル(311)と、
前記一次コイルに印加される一次電圧、及び、前記点火プラグに印加される二次電圧の少なくとも一方の電圧値を検出する電圧値検出部(L3,314)と、
前記点火プラグに流れる二次電流を検出する二次電流検出部(L1,314)と、
を備える前記内燃機関に適用され、
前記一次コイルへ一次電流の導通を行わせた後に前記一次電流の遮断を行わせることで、前記点火プラグに前記放電火花を発生させる放電発生制御を1燃焼サイクル中に1回、又は複数回実施させる一次電流制御部(314)と、
前記電圧値検出部により検出された前記電圧値に基づいて前記放電火花のエネルギに相関するパラメータを逐次算出するパラメータ算出部(314)と、
前記放電火花の単位長さ当たりのエネルギであるエネルギ密度を逐次算出するエネルギ密度算出部(314)と、
1燃焼サイクル中において前記一次電流の遮断を行わせた後の所定期間内に、前記エネルギ密度算出部により算出された前記エネルギ密度が所定値よりも大きいことを条件として、前記パラメータ算出部により算出されたその時の前記パラメータを積算することで積算値を算出する積算値算出部(314)と、
を備え、
前記一次電流制御部は、前記積算値算出部により算出された前記積算値が第一閾値よりも小さいことを条件として、前記放電発生制御を再度実施させる点火制御システム。 - 前記電圧値検出部により検出された前記電圧値に基づいて、前記放電電極間に形成された前記放電火花の長さとしての放電経路長を逐次算出する放電経路長算出部(314)と、
前記電圧値検出部により検出された前記電圧値の絶対値と、前記二次電流検出部により検出された前記二次電流の絶対値と、の積を放電エネルギとして逐次算出する放電エネルギ算出部(314)と、
前記エネルギ密度算出部は、前記放電エネルギ算出部により算出された前記放電エネルギを、前記放電経路長算出部により算出された前記放電経路長で割ることで前記エネルギ密度を逐次算出する請求項1に記載の点火制御システム。 - 前記放電経路長算出部は、前記電圧値検出部により検出された前記電圧値の絶対値の自然対数値に基づいて、前記放電経路長を算出する請求項2に記載の点火制御システム。
- 前記第一閾値は、前記可燃混合気の空燃比が大きいほど、大きく設定される請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の点火制御システム。
- 前記内燃機関は、前記可燃混合気を燃焼させた排気を前記気筒内へ再循環させる排気再循環機構を備え、
前記第一閾値は、前記排気の再循環量が多いほど、大きく設定される請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の点火制御システム。 - 前記積算値算出部は、前記一次電流制御部により前記放電発生制御が再度実施された場合において、前記所定期間内における前記積算値を算出し、
前記一次電流制御部は、1燃焼サイクル中において、今までに前記積算値算出部により積算された前記積算値に今回算出された積算値を加えた合計値が前記第一閾値よりも小さいことを条件として、前記放電発生制御を再度実施させる請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項に記載の点火制御システム。 - 前記電圧値検出部により検出された前記電圧値の絶対値と、前記二次電流検出部により検出された前記二次電流の絶対値と、の積を放電エネルギとして逐次算出する放電エネルギ算出部(314)を備え、
前記一次電流制御部は、前記所定期間内において、前記電圧値検出部により検出された前記電圧値の絶対値と、前記二次電流検出部により検出された前記二次電流の絶対値と、放電エネルギ算出部により算出された前記放電エネルギとのうち、少なくとも一つの値が第二閾値よりも小さくなった場合に、前記放電発生制御を直ちに再度実施する請求項1乃至6のいずれか1項に記載の点火制御システム。 - 前記所定期間は、前記一次電流を遮断した直後の所定のマスク期間を除いて設定される請求項1乃至7のいずれか1項に記載の点火制御システム。
- 前記パラメータは、前記放電経路長算出部により算出された前記放電経路長である請求項2又は3に記載の点火制御システム。
- 前記内燃機関は、前記気筒内で気流を生じさせる気流生成部(27)を備え、
前記気筒内に均質かつ希薄な希薄混合気を生成し均質希薄燃焼を行う場合には、前記気流生成部により前記気筒内に前記気流を生じさせる請求項1乃至9のいずれか1項に記載の点火制御システム。
