Description
製薬分野において、また診断用途や化粧品用途で、ガラスは包装材料として大規模で使用されている。特に、例えば高い透明性や良好な機械的特性や低い透過性と良好な化学的耐久性とを兼ね備えたその固有の材料特性は、例えば医薬品の品質やその有効性を保持する上で極めて重要である。
本発明によれば、上述の課題は請求項1のガラス組成物によって解決される。
以下の表に記載の成分の量は、溶融ガラス中に存在する量であることに留意すべきである。かなりの数の成分(例えば、酸化ホウ素、(ホウ酸、アルカリ金属ホウ酸塩))が、ガラスの製造プロセスや成形プロセスにおいて蒸発傾向にあることは、当業者に知られている。従って、こうした成分の場合には、出発組成物中に存在する量は、後の段階での溶融ガラス中の量よりも多い。さらに、当業者は、必要とされる溶融温度や加工時の温度が蒸発の程度に影響を及ぼすことを知っているため、使用すべき量を狙い通りに算出することができる。揮発性成分の蒸発によって、溶融ガラス中に残存する不揮発成分がより多量となる。
試験すべき出発ガラスを洗浄し、乳鉢またはボールミルで粉砕し、3つの異なる規格化された篩メッシュサイズでふるい分けし、超音波浴中でアセトンで数回洗浄し、かつ乾燥させ、これらをすべてUSPに厳密に定められた順序に従って行う。所定の粒径を有する粒状ガラスが得られる。
Claims (17)
- 請求項1に記載のニュートラルガラスであって、SiO2含有率が75〜81質量%の範囲内であり、好ましくは77〜80質量%の範囲内であることを特徴とする、前記ニュートラルガラス。
- 請求項1または2に記載のニュートラルガラスであって、B2O3含有率が3.5〜5.5質量%の範囲内であることを特徴とする、前記ニュートラルガラス。
- 請求項1から3までのいずれか1項に記載のニュートラルガラスであって、Al2O3含有率が5〜7.5質量%であることを特徴とする、前記ニュートラルガラス。
- 請求項1から4までのいずれか1項に記載のニュートラルガラスであって、BaOを含有しないことを特徴とする、前記ニュートラルガラス。

- 請求項1から6までのいずれか1項に記載のニュートラルガラスであって、K2O含有率が4〜8質量%の範囲内であり、好ましくは4.2〜7.8質量%の範囲内であることを特徴とする、前記ニュートラルガラス。
- 請求項1から7までのいずれか1項に記載のニュートラルガラスであって、3.5質量%のNa2Oおよび6.5質量%のK2Oを含有することを特徴とする、前記ニュートラルガラス。
- 請求項1から8までのいずれか1項に記載のニュートラルガラスであって、Li2O含有率が0〜0.5質量%であることを特徴とする、前記ニュートラルガラス。
- 請求項1から9までのいずれか1項に記載のニュートラルガラスであって、該ガラス中のアルカリ金属酸化物の合計が、6.8〜13.3質量%であり、好ましくは7.0〜12.6質量%であることを特徴とする、前記ニュートラルガラス。
- 請求項1から10までのいずれか1項に記載のニュートラルガラスであって、K2O/Na2Oの比が0.8〜2.9の範囲内であり、好ましくは0.9〜2.8の範囲内であることを特徴とする、前記ニュートラルガラス。
- 請求項1から11までのいずれか1項に記載のニュートラルガラスであって、アルカリ土類金属酸化物を含有しないことを特徴とする、前記ニュートラルガラス。
- 引抜管を製造するための、請求項1から12までのいずれか1項に記載のニュートラルガラスの使用。
- 製薬分野における、特に小瓶、シリンジ、アンプルおよびカートリッジのための、請求項1から12までのいずれか1項に記載のニュートラルガラスの使用。
- 製薬用一次包装材としての、特に水性医薬品または含水医薬品のための製薬用一次包装材としての、請求項14に記載の使用。
- 請求項1から12までのいずれか1項に記載のニュートラルガラスからなることを特徴とする、製薬用一次包装材。
- 請求項1から12までのいずれか1項に記載の本発明によるニュートラルガラスから製造された一次包装材であって、水、作用物質、1〜11のpH範囲内の緩衝溶液の群から選択される少なくとも1つの成分を収容していることを特徴とする、前記一次包装材。
