Claims (5)
- 燃焼室(53)に繋がる吸気ポート(54a)を形成するシリンダーヘッド(35)と、
前記吸気ポート(54a)に結合されて、弁軸(56)に固定されるスロットルバルブ(57)を前記弁軸(56)の回転軸線(Vx)回りで回転させて吸気路(45a)の開き度を調整するスロットルボディ(45)と、
前記弁軸(56)に固定される駆動部材(72)を収容し、前記駆動部材(72)に伝達される駆動力を生成する駆動モーター(69)を支持するケース(71)と
を備え、
前記ケース(71)は側面視で前記吸気ポート(54a)に重なるエンジンにおいて、
第1軸(73)に取り付けられ前記駆動部材(72)に噛み合い、前記第1軸(73)の軸心(Gx)回りで回転して前記弁軸(56)を駆動する第1歯車(74)と、第2軸(75)に取り付けられ前記第1歯車(74)に噛み合い、前記第2軸(75)の軸心(Jx)回りで回転して前記駆動モーター(69)から前記第1歯車(74)に駆動力を伝達する第2歯車(76)とを備えることを特徴とするエンジン。 - 請求項1に記載のエンジンにおいて、前記駆動モーター(69)の駆動軸(69a)は、前記吸気ポート(54a)の外端を含む仮想平面(PL)よりも前記シリンダーヘッド(35)側に位置することを特徴とするエンジン。
- 請求項2に記載のエンジンにおいて、前記第2歯車(76)は、少なくとも部分的に、前記外端を含む前記仮想平面(PL)よりも前記シリンダーヘッド(35)側に位置することを特徴とするエンジン。
- 請求項3に記載のエンジンにおいて、前記第1歯車(74)は、少なくとも部分的に、前記外端を含む前記仮想平面(PL)よりも前記シリンダーヘッド(35)側に位置することを特徴とするエンジン。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のエンジンにおいて、前記ケース(71)は、前記第1歯車(74)および前記第2歯車(76)を収容し、前記ケース(71)の少なくとも一部は、前記シリンダーヘッド(35)およびシリンダーブロック(34)の合わせ面を含む仮想平面(PQ)よりも前記シリンダーブロック(34)側に位置することを特徴とするエンジン。
