Description
図1を参照し、血液分析装置の構成について説明する。血液分析装置1は、測定部2と、解析部3とを備える。測定部2は、血液試料を取り込み、血液試料から測定試料を調製し、測定試料を光学測定する。解析部3は、測定部2の測定により得られた測定データを処理し、血液試料の分析結果を出力する。
図3を参照し、血液分析装置1の動作について説明する。

Claims (17)
- 赤血球を収縮させる希釈液、核酸を染色する染色色素及び血液試料から測定試料を調製する試料調製部と、
前記試料調製部によって調製された前記測定試料に対して光を照射して得られる蛍光強度及び散乱光強度を検出する検出部と、
出力部と、
前記蛍光強度及び前記散乱光強度に基づいて、白血球を含む集団である第1粒子群と、マラリア原虫に感染していない赤血球を含む集団である第2粒子群と、前記散乱光強度が前記第1粒子群より小さく、前記蛍光強度が前記第1粒子群より小さく且つ前記第2粒子群より大きい、リングフォームのマラリア原虫が1つ入った赤血球を含む集団である第3粒子群と、を特定し、特定された前記リングフォームのマラリア原虫が1つ入った赤血球を含む集団である前記第3粒子群に属する粒子の散乱光強度の代表値が所定値未満の場合に、前記血液試料が熱帯熱マラリア原虫に感染している可能性があることを示す情報を前記出力部に出力させる解析部と、を備え、
前記散乱光強度の代表値は、前記散乱光強度の最頻値、平均値、中央値または重心値である、血液分析装置。 - 前記解析部は、前記第3粒子群に属する粒子の散乱光強度の最頻値が所定値未満の場合に、前記血液試料が前記熱帯熱マラリア原虫に感染している可能性があることを示す情報を前記出力部に出力させるように構成されている、請求項1に記載の血液分析装置。
- 前記解析部は、前記代表値が前記所定値以上の場合に、前記血液試料が熱帯熱マラリア原虫以外のマラリア原虫に感染している可能性があることを示す情報を前記出力部に出力させるように構成されている、請求項1又は2に記載の血液分析装置。
- 前記解析部は、前記蛍光強度及び前記散乱光強度に基づいて、前記散乱光強度が前記第3粒子群と同程度であり、且つ、前記蛍光強度が前記第3粒子群より大きい第4粒子群を特定するように構成されており、前記第4粒子群に属する粒子数が第2所定値以上のときに、前記血液試料が熱帯熱マラリア原虫に感染している可能性が高いことを示す情報を前記出力部に出力させるように構成されている、請求項1乃至3の何れか1項に記載の血液分析装置。
- 前記解析部は、前記第4粒子群に属する粒子数が前記第2所定値未満のときに、前記血液試料が熱帯熱マラリア原虫に感染している疑いがあることを示す情報を前記出力部に出力させるように構成されている、請求項4に記載の血液分析装置。
- 前記解析部は、前記蛍光強度及び前記散乱光強度に基づいて、前記散乱光強度が前記第3粒子群より大きく、且つ、前記蛍光強度が前記第3粒子群より大きい第5粒子群を特定するように構成されており、前記第5粒子群に属する粒子数が第3所定値以上のときに、前記血液試料が熱帯熱マラリア原虫以外のマラリア原虫に感染している可能性が高いことを示す情報を前記出力部に出力させるように構成されている、請求項3、請求項3に従属する請求項4又は請求項3に従属する請求項5に記載の血液分析装置。
- 前記解析部は、前記第5粒子群に属する粒子数が前記第3所定値未満のときに、前記血液試料が熱帯熱マラリア原虫以外のマラリア原虫に感染している疑いがあることを示す情報を前記出力部に出力させるように構成されている、請求項6に記載の血液分析装置。
- 前記解析部は、前記第5粒子群に属する粒子数が前記第3所定値以上のときに、トロフォゾイト又はシゾントが前記血液試料中に出現している可能性があることを示す情報を前記出力部にさらに出力させるように構成されている、
請求項6又は7に記載の血液分析装置。 - 前記解析部は、前記散乱光強度が前記第3粒子群より大きく、且つ、前記蛍光強度が前記第3粒子群と同程度である第6粒子群を特定し、前記第6粒子群に属する粒子数に基づいて、ガメトサイトが前記血液試料中に出現している可能性があることを示す情報を前記出力部に出力させるように構成されている、請求項1乃至8の何れか1項に記載の血液分析装置。
- 前記解析部は、前記散乱光強度が前記第1粒子群より小さく、且つ、前記蛍光強度が前記第2粒子群より大きい第7粒子群を特定し、前記第7粒子群に属する粒子数を前記出力部に出力させるように構成されている、請求項1乃至9の何れか1項に記載の血液分析装置。
- 前記試料調製部は、前記希釈液とは異なる第2希釈液と、前記血液試料とを混合して第2測定試料を調製するように構成されており、
前記試料調製部によって調製された前記第2測定試料に含まれる各粒子の電気抵抗を検出する第2検出部をさらに備え、
前記解析部は、前記第2検出部によって検出された電気抵抗に基づいて、前記第2測定試料に含まれる赤血球を検出し、検出された赤血球数と、前記第7粒子群に含まれる粒子数との比率を前記出力部に出力させるように構成されている、請求項10に記載の血液分析装置。 - 前記試料調製部によって調製された前記測定試料を流すためのフローセルと、
前記フローセルを流れる前記測定試料に青紫色レーザ光を照射するための光源部と、
をさらに備え、
前記検出部は、前記フローセルを流れる前記測定試料に対して前記光源部から青紫色レーザ光が照射されたときに得られる前記蛍光強度及び前記散乱光強度を検出するように構成されている、請求項1乃至11の何れか1項に記載の血液分析装置。 - 赤血球を収縮させる希釈液、核酸を染色する染色色素及び血液試料から調製された測定試料に対して光を照射し、
前記測定試料に対して前記光を照射することによって得られる蛍光強度及び散乱光強度を検出し、
検出された前記蛍光強度及び前記散乱光強度に基づいて、白血球を含む集団である第1粒子群と、マラリア原虫に感染していない赤血球を含む集団である第2粒子群と、前記散乱光強度が前記第1粒子群より小さく、前記蛍光強度が前記第1粒子群より小さく且つ前記第2粒子群より大きい、リングフォームのマラリア原虫が1つ入った赤血球を含む集団である第3粒子群と、を特定し、
前記リングフォームのマラリア原虫が1つ入った赤血球を含む集団である前記第3粒子群に属する粒子の散乱光強度の代表値が所定値未満の場合に、前記血液試料が熱帯熱マラリア原虫に感染している可能性があると判定し、
前記散乱光強度の代表値は、前記散乱光強度の最頻値、平均値、中央値または重心値である、血液分析方法。 - 前記蛍光強度及び前記散乱光強度に基づいて、前記散乱光強度が前記第3粒子群と同程度であり、且つ、前記蛍光強度が前記第3粒子群より大きい第4粒子群を特定し、前記第4粒子群に属する粒子数が第2所定値以上のときに、前記血液試料が熱帯熱マラリア原虫に感染している可能性が高いと判定する、請求項13に記載の血液分析方法。
- 前記第4粒子群に属する粒子数が前記第2所定値未満のときに、前記血液試料が熱帯熱マラリア原虫に感染している疑いがあと判定する、請求項14に記載の血液分析方法。
- 前記蛍光強度及び前記散乱光強度に基づいて、前記散乱光強度が前記第3粒子群より大きく、且つ、前記蛍光強度が前記第3粒子群より大きい第5粒子群を特定し、前記第5粒子群に属する粒子数が第3所定値以上のときに、前記血液試料が熱帯熱マラリア原虫以外のマラリア原虫に感染している可能性が高いと判定する、請求項13乃至15の何れか1項に記載の血液分析方法。
- 前記第5粒子群に属する粒子数が前記第3所定値未満のときに、前記血液試料が熱帯熱マラリア原虫以外のマラリア原虫に感染している疑いがあると判定する、請求項16に記載の血液分析方法。
