Description
Claims (15)
- パイプコルゲーターであって、第1の金型ブロック連続体が対向する第2の金型ブロック連続体と協働及び当接して、前記第1の金型ブロック連続体及び前記第2の金型ブロック連続体の当接する金型ブロック間にコルゲート状の金型トンネルを画定し、
前記第1の金型ブロック連続体及び前記第2の金型ブロック連続体は、前記金型トンネルの出口において互いに分離し、戻り経路に沿って押され、前記金型トンネルの入口の付近で対向する金型ブロックと当接状態になり、
前記金型ブロック連続体のそれぞれは、可変速度の金型ブロック駆動部を備え、該可変速度の金型ブロック駆動部は、該金型ブロック駆動部へと押される先頭の金型ブロックに係合するとともに、戻ってくる隣接する後続の金型ブロックから前記先頭の金型ブロックを分離して、該先頭の金型ブロックと該後続の金型ブロックとの間に熱膨張ギャップを形成し、
各金型ブロック連続体は、センサーを備える処理機構であって、前記センサーは、前記可変速度の金型ブロック駆動部に係合する先頭の金型ブロックが、これから前記可変速度の金型ブロック駆動部に係合するとともに前記先頭の金型ブロックから前記熱膨張ギャップによって分離する後続の金型ブロックから移動するのを感知する、処理機構と、前記戻り経路に沿って押される金型ブロックの前記速度を感知し、感知された該速度に基づいて前記熱膨張ギャップのサイズを評価し、測定された前記熱膨張ギャップに応じてオペレーター出力信号を与える手段とを備える、パイプコルゲーター。 - 前記金型ブロックの移動を感知する前記センサーはエッジ感知機構であり、該エッジ感知機構は、エッジセンサーが前記後続の金型ブロックの先頭エッジを検出する所要時間に対応する情報を提供する、請求項1に記載のパイプコルゲーター。
- 前記パイプコルゲーターは、前記情報及び感知された前記速度を用いて前記熱膨張ギャップの距離計算値を出力するプロセッサを備える、請求項2に記載のパイプコルゲーター。
- 前記プロセッサは、測定された前記熱膨張ギャップが所定の最小値よりも小さい場合に、オペレーター用の警報指示を与える、請求項3に記載のパイプコルゲーター。
- 前記プロセッサは、測定された前記熱膨張ギャップが所定の最大値を超える場合に、オペレーター用の警報指示を提示する、請求項4に記載のパイプコルゲーター。
- 前記パイプコルゲーターは、前記金型ブロックの可変冷却機構に対する制御装置を備え、該制御装置は、前記プロセッサから信号を受信し、測定された前記熱膨張ギャップが前記所定の最小値よりも小さい場合、前記可変冷却機構を増大させる、請求項4に記載のパイプコルゲーター。
- 前記パイプコルゲーターは、該パイプコルゲーターの自動長さ調整機構に対する制御装置を備え、該制御装置は、前記プロセッサから信号を受信し、測定された前記熱膨張ギャップが前記所定の最小値よりも小さい場合、前記パイプコルゲーターの長さを増大させる、請求項4に記載のパイプコルゲーター。
- 前記パイプコルゲーターは、該パイプコルゲーターの前記長さを調整する自動長さ調整機構及び制御装置を備え、該制御装置は、前記プロセッサから信号を受信し、測定された前記熱膨張ギャップが所定の最小値よりも小さい場合、前記パイプコルゲーターの前記長さを増大させる、請求項3に記載のパイプコルゲーター。
- 前記制御装置は前記プロセッサと通信状態にあり、前記プロセッサは信号を生成するとともに前記信号を前記制御装置に通信し、測定された前記熱膨張ギャップが所定の最大値よりも大きい場合、前記パイプコルゲーターの前記長さを減少させる、請求項8に記載のパイプコルゲーター。
- 駆動機構によって駆動経路に沿って押され、また前記駆動機構へと戻されて、前記駆動機構に位置する2つの隣接する金型ブロック間に熱膨張ギャップを画定する、当接する循環金型ブロックを備えるパイプコルゲーターにおける熱膨張を識別する方法であって、前記2つの隣接する金型ブロックのうちの先頭の金型ブロックは、前記駆動機構と係合状態であり、後続の金型ブロックは前記先頭の金型ブロックから前記熱膨張ギャップによって分離され、該方法は、
前記駆動経路に沿って押される際の前記金型ブロックの速度を感知することと、
前記後続の金型ブロックが前記熱膨張ギャップにわたって移動して前記駆動機構に係合するのにかかる時間を感知することと、
感知された前記速度及び感知された前記時間に基づいて、前記熱膨張ギャップのサイズを求めることと、
求められた前記熱膨張ギャップのサイズの少なくともオペレーター用の指示表示を与えることと、
を含む、方法。 - 求められた前記熱膨張ギャップのサイズが所定の最小値よりも小さい場合に、警報信号を与えることを含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 求められた前記熱膨張ギャップのサイズが所定の最大値よりも大きい場合に、警報信号を与えることを含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記パイプコルゲーターは、前記金型ブロックから熱を除去する可変冷却機構を備え、前記方法は、求められた前記熱膨張ギャップのサイズに応じて前記可変冷却機構を変更し、求められた前記熱膨張ギャップのサイズが所定の最小値を下回る場合に前記金型ブロックから熱を除去することを更に含む、請求項10、11又は12のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記パイプコルゲーターは、該コルゲーターの長さを増減させ、それにより前記熱膨張ギャップを変化させる可変調整機構を備え、前記方法は、求められた前記熱膨張ギャップのサイズに応じて前記可変調整機構を自動的に変更し、求められた前記熱膨張ギャップのサイズが所定の最小値を下回る場合、前記パイプコルゲーターの前記長さを増大させることを更に含む、請求項10、11又は12のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記方法は、求められた前記熱膨張ギャップのサイズに応じて前記可変調整機構を自動的に変更し、求められた前記熱膨張ギャップのサイズが所定の最大値を超える場合、前記パイプコルゲーターの前記長さを減少させる、請求項14に記載の方法。
