Description
Claims (5)
- 車両前方に配光パターンを形成するように構成された光学系と、
光源の光の少なくとも一部を遮光できる回転遮光部材と、を備えた車両用灯具ユニットであって、
前記回転遮光部材は、
回転軸を中心とした回転に伴い光源の光の遮光量が変化するように形成された螺旋状の遮光部を有し、
前記遮光部は、
水平方向と交差する方向に延びるカットオフラインの位置が水平方向で異なる複数の配光パターンを形成できるように構成されており、
回転遮光部材の回転位置の変化に対する、前記カットオフラインとして投影される縁部の位置の変化が非線形となるように構成されており、
前記複数の配光パターンとして第1の配光パターン、第2の配光パターンおよび第3の配光パターンを形成できるように構成されており、
回転遮光部材の第1回転位置R1において前記第1の配光パターンの第1カットオフラインとして投影される第1縁部と、
回転遮光部材を前記第1回転位置R1から更に回転させた第2回転位置R2(R1<R2)において前記第2の配光パターンの第2カットオフラインとして投影される第2縁部と、
回転遮光部材を前記第2回転位置R2から更に回転させた第3回転位置R3(R2<R3)において前記第3の配光パターンの第3カットオフラインとして投影される第3縁部と、を含み、
前記第1回転位置R1から前記第2回転位置R2まで回転させる際の回転変化量ΔRに対する、前記第1縁部から前記第2縁部までの回転軸方向の変化量ΔHの比率ΔH/ΔRは、前記第2回転位置R2から前記第3回転位置R3までの回転変化量ΔR’に対する、前記第2縁部から前記第3縁部までの回転軸方向の変化量ΔH’の比率ΔH’/ΔR’と異なるように構成されている、
ことを特徴とする車両用灯具ユニット。 - 前記遮光部は、
前記第2の配光パターンによる照射面積が、前記第1の配光パターンによる照射面積よりも広く、かつ、前記第3の配光パターンによる照射面積よりも狭くなるように構成されており、
前記比率ΔH/ΔR<前記比率ΔH’/ΔR’を満たす、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用灯具ユニット。 - 前記遮光部は、
前記第1回転位置R1から前記第3回転位置R3まで回転させる際の回転変化量ΔR”に対する、前記第1縁部から前記第3縁部までの回転軸方向の変化量ΔH”の比率ΔH”/ΔR”が一定となる螺旋状の面を仮想面αとすると、
前記第1縁部から前記第2縁部までの第1遮光面P1と仮想面αが成す角θ1は、前記第2縁部から前記第3縁部までの第2遮光面P2と仮想面αが成す角θ2以下となるように構成されている、
ことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の車両用灯具ユニット。 - 前記光学系は投影レンズを含み、
前記回転遮光部材は、前記投影レンズの焦点近傍に配置されており、
前記遮光部は、
前記第2縁部を挟んで屈曲した遮光面であり、前記第2縁部が前記第2回転位置R2において投影されることで車両前方に形成される前記第2カットオフラインの下端が、光軸を中心に水平方向で±XH°(ただし、XHは、前記第2カットオフラインの下端とH−H線(水平線)との角度差XV以下である)の範囲に位置するように構成されている、
ことを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の車両用灯具ユニット。 - 車両用灯具ユニットにおける光源の光の少なくとも一部を遮光できる回転遮光部材であって、
回転軸を中心とした回転に伴い光源の光の遮光量が変化するように形成された螺旋状の遮光部を有し、
前記遮光部は、
水平方向と交差する方向に延びるカットオフラインの位置が水平方向で異なる複数の配光パターンを形成できるように構成されており、
回転遮光部材の回転位置の変化に対する、前記カットオフラインとして投影される縁部の位置の変化が非線形となるように構成されており、
前記複数の配光パターンとして第1の配光パターン、第2の配光パターンおよび第3の配光パターンを形成できるように構成されており、
回転遮光部材の第1回転位置R1において前記第1の配光パターンの第1カットオフラインとして投影される第1縁部と、
回転遮光部材を前記第1回転位置R1から更に回転させた第2回転位置R2(R1<R2)において前記第2の配光パターンの第2カットオフラインとして投影される第2縁部と、
回転遮光部材を前記第2回転位置R2から更に回転させた第3回転位置R3(R2<R3)において前記第3の配光パターンの第3カットオフラインとして投影される第3縁部と、を含み、
前記第1回転位置R1から前記第2回転位置R2まで回転させる際の回転変化量ΔRに対する、前記第1縁部から前記第2縁部までの回転軸方向の変化量ΔHの比率ΔH/ΔRは、前記第2回転位置R2から前記第3回転位置R3までの回転変化量ΔR’に対する、前記第2縁部から前記第3縁部までの回転軸方向の変化量ΔH’の比率ΔH’/ΔR’と異なるように構成されている、
ことを特徴とする回転遮光部材。
