Description
(変形例1)
実施の形態で説明した配光パターン可変の車両用前照灯において、片ハイビームまたはVビームのように、ハイビーム用配光パターンの一部を利用した形状の配光パターンが選択された場合、前走車の乗員にグレアを与えないように前走車の周囲を遮光する。これによって前走車の周囲は暗くなるため、前走車の周囲の状況をカメラが認識しにくくなる。
(変形例2)
実施の形態では、シェードの作動タイミングを調整してグレアを防止することを述べた。この代わりに、ハイ/ロー切換用シェードの後ろに遅延作動する遮光防止専用のプレートを追加してもよい。
Claims (2)
- 光源からの光に対する遮光領域がそれぞれ異なるような形状に形成された複数のシェードと、
前記複数のシェードをそれぞれ独立に、投影レンズの焦点面またはその近傍である進出位置と配光パターンに影響を与えない後退位置との間で移動するように構成されたシェード駆動部と、
車両の走行する環境に応じて車両の前方に形成すべき配光パターンを決定する配光パターン決定部と、
前記配光パターン決定部により決定された配光パターンに対応する新たなシェードを前記進出位置に移動させるとともに、前記配光パターン決定部による決定前の配光パターンに対応する以前のシェードを前記後退位置に移動させる制御信号を前記シェード駆動部に発するシェード制御部と、を備え、
前記シェード制御部は、前記以前のシェードを前記新たなシェードで置き換える際に、前記新たなシェードで遮光されるべき領域からの漏光を防止するように制御し、
前記複数のシェードは三枚以上からなり、そのうち少なくとも二枚は、前記進出位置にあるときに各シェードのカットライン形成部分が投影レンズの焦点面に一致するように構成されるとともに、その他のシェードは前記進出位置にあるときに各シェードのカットライン形成部分が投影レンズの焦点面の前方または後方にずれて位置するように構成されており、
前記焦点面に一致する二枚のシェード間で置き換えを実行する場合、前記シェード制御部は、前記以前のシェードを前記進出位置から前記後退位置に移動させる前に、前記その他のシェードを前記後退位置から前記進出位置に移動させるように制御することを特徴とする車両用前照灯システム。 - 前記シェード駆動部は、シェードを駆動するためのソレノイドおよびモータを含んで構成され、各シェードは前記ソレノイドまたは前記モータと一対一に対応することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用前照灯システム。
