Description
300gの脱イオン水、0.33gの50%溶液のPluronicP84(BASF)、16.7gの硫酸カルシウム半水和物(Sigma Aldrich)および33gのTLD302グレードのNanogel(登録商標)エアロゲルを米国コネティカット州のWaring Products製のWaring Commercial 7010G Blenderミキサーを使用して3分間Low設定で混合して、混合物(またはスラリー)を形成した。
500gの脱イオン水、0.33gの50%溶液のPluronic P84(BASF)、16.7gの硫酸カルシウム半水和物(Sigma Aldrich)および33gのTLD302グレードのNanogel(登録商標)エアロゲルをWaring Commercial 7010G Blenderを使用して3分間「Low」設定で混合した。
500gの脱イオン水、0.33gの50%溶液のPluronic P84(BASF)、16.7gの硫酸カルシウム半水和物(Sigma Aldrich)および33gのTLD302グレードのNanogel(登録商標)エアロゲル(粒子サイズは1.2〜3.2mmの範囲)を米国コネティカット州のWaring Products製のWaring Commercial 7010G Blenderミキサーを使用して3分間Low設定で混合した。
混合物には、グレードTLD201(粒子サイズは1〜30ミクロン、8〜10ミクロンのd50)のNanogel(登録商標)タイプのエアロゲル(例3のTLD302グレードではない)の使用以外は、上記の例3に使用したのと同じ含有物および量が含まれた。混合は手動によって行われ、混合物を1層の大きい片および1層の2cmx2cmの片とともに振動させ、一晩乾燥した。試料はエアロゲル含有混合物を充分に含浸していることが見出された。
500gの脱イオン水、0.33gの50%溶液のPluronic P84(BASF)、16.7gの硫酸カルシウム半水和物(Sigma Aldrich)および33gのTLD302グレードのNanogel(登録商標)エアロゲルを米国コネティカット州のWaring Products製のWaring Commercial 7010G Blenderミキサーを使用して3分間Low設定で混合した。
真空を引くことは、乾燥プロセスの役に立つことがわかったが、PrimaLoft(登録商標)などの絶縁材料を通してスラリーを引くには無効であると思われた。
本発明は、以下の態様を含んでいる。
(1)(a)バッティングと、
(b)エアロゲル含有粒子およびバインダの混合物であって、前記エアロゲル含有粒子は、少なくとも1層の前記バッティングに含浸する、混合物と、
を備える、可撓性絶縁構造体。
(2)前記構造の熱伝導率は、23℃で1気圧において約23mW/m・K以下である、(1)に記載の可撓性絶縁構造体。
(3)前記バッティング全体は、前記エアロゲル含有粒子を含浸される、(1)に記載の可撓性絶縁構造体。
(4)前記バインダは無機バインダである、(1)に記載の可撓性絶縁構造体。
(5)前記バインダは石膏である、(1)に記載の可撓性絶縁構造体。
(6)前記混合物は界面活性剤をさらに含む、(1)に記載の可撓性絶縁構造体。
(7)前記バッティングは織布または不織布であり、高分子繊維バッティング、ガラス繊維バッティング、鉱物綿繊維バッティング、炭素繊維およびそれらのあらゆる組合せからなる群から選択される、(1)に記載の可撓性絶縁構造体。
(8)前記バッティングはポリエステル繊維バッティングである、(1)に記載の可撓性絶縁構造体。
(9)前記構造は難燃特性、防音特性、電気的絶縁特性、疎水性、光伝達特性または耐火性の1つまたは複数を有する、(1)に記載の可撓性絶縁構造体。
(10)前記構造は耐荷重特性を有する、(1)に記載の可撓性絶縁構造体。
(11)保護を提供する少なくとも1つのカバー層、反射コーティング、水バリアまたは水蒸気バリアをさらに備える、(1)に記載の可撓性絶縁構造体。
(12)1つまたは複数の非バッティング内層をさらに備える、(1)に記載の可撓性絶縁構造体。
(13)可撓性絶縁構造体を調製するための方法であって、
エアロゲル含有粒子およびバインダを含む混合物を1つまたは複数のバッティング層を有するバッティングに塗布することと、
前記バインダを乾燥させることまたは乾燥させることができ、それによって前記可撓性絶縁構造体を形成することと、
を含む、方法。
(14)前記混合物は界面活性剤をさらに含む、(13)に記載の方法。
(15)前記混合物はスラリーである、(13)に記載の方法。
(16)前記バッティングを前記スラリー内に浸漬する、または液浸する、(15)に記載の方法。
(17)前記浸漬または液浸は、撹拌の存在下で行われる、(16)に記載の方法。
(18)前記撹拌はかき混ぜることまたは振動させることによる、(17)に記載の方法。
(19)前記撹拌は、前記浸漬または液浸を行うために使用される時間以下の時間間隔で行われる、(17)に記載の方法。
(20)前記混合物は、前記バッティングに注ぐ、噴霧する、塗る、液浸するまたはそれらのあらゆる組合せによって塗布される、(13)に記載の方法。
(21)前記可撓性絶縁構造体全体は、エアロゲル含有粒子を含浸される、(13)に記載の方法。
(22)前記可撓性絶縁構造体は、エアロゲル含有粒子を部分的に含浸される、または塗られる、(13)に記載の方法。
(23)カバー層を前記バッティングの外面に塗布することをさらに含む、(13)に記載の方法。
(24)カバー層を前記可撓性絶縁構造体の外面に塗布することをさらに含む、(13)に記載の方法。
(25)前記可撓性絶縁構造体は、少なくとも1つの非バッティング内層をさらに含む、(13)に記載の方法。
(26)(1)の可撓性絶縁構造体を備える物品。
(27)(13)の方法によって調整された可撓性絶縁構造体を備える物品。
(28)対象を絶縁するための方法であって、
前記対象を含む物品において(1の可撓性絶縁構造体を組み込むことと、
前記物品を少なくとも150℃の温度に曝すことと
を含む、方法。
(29)前記可撓性絶縁構造体は、前記対象の表面を被覆する、(28)に記載の方法。
(30)前記物品は、衣類、履物、パイプインパイプ配置、絶縁容器、建築物、自動車、船舶、航空機および運動用品の物品からなる群から選択される、(28)に記載の方法。
Claims (17)
- 可撓性断熱ブランケットを調製するための方法であって、
予め製造されたエアロゲル含有粒子およびバインダを含む混合物を1つまたは複数のバッティング層を有するバッティングに塗布することと、
前記バインダを乾燥させることまたは乾燥させることができ、それによって前記可撓性断熱ブランケットを形成することと、
を含み、前記バッティングの厚さが4mm〜50mmであり、重量が50g/m2〜250g/m2である、方法。 - 前記混合物は界面活性剤をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記混合物はスラリーである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記バッティングを前記スラリー内に浸漬する、または液浸する、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記浸漬または液浸は、撹拌の存在下で行われる、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記撹拌はかき混ぜることまたは振動させることによる、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記撹拌は、前記浸漬または液浸を行うために使用される時間以下の時間間隔で行われる、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記混合物は、前記バッティングに注ぐ、噴霧する、塗る、液浸するまたはそれらのあらゆる組合せによって塗布される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記可撓性断熱ブランケット全体は、エアロゲル含有粒子を含浸される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記可撓性断熱ブランケットは、エアロゲル含有粒子を部分的に含浸される、または塗られる、請求項1に記載の方法。
- カバー層を前記バッティングの外面に塗布することをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- カバー層を前記可撓性断熱ブランケットの外面に塗布することをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記可撓性断熱ブランケットは、少なくとも1つの非バッティング内層をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記可撓性断熱ブランケットは、前記ブランケットを巻き付けるおよび/または巻き付きを解くことにより、前記ブランケットが物品の周囲を包むことを可能にさせるのに充分な可撓性がある、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記エアロゲル含有粒子が、以下の特性:
(1)0.15g/cm3以下のかさ密度、
(2)300〜1,000m2/gの表面積、
(3)90%以上の気孔率、
(4)3mL/g以上の細孔容積、および
(5)1ミクロン未満の孔をもつナノポーラス構造
の組み合わせを有する、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記バッティングが、23℃において熱伝導率80mW/m・K以下を有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記バインダが、石膏、セメント、石灰、混合マグネシウム塩、ケイ酸塩、又はプラスタバインダである、請求項1に記載の方法。
