Description
鉄道車両1は、必ずしも先端に向かって尖る流線型である必要はなく、例えば図4に示すように正面が鉛直方向に平行な箱型であってもよい。この場合、鉄道車両1は、屋根構体5と衝突柱3を連結する、鉛直方向に延びるピラー43を有していてもよい。

Claims (7)
- 車両長手方向に延びる中ハリを含む台枠と、
前記中ハリの先端に立設された衝突柱と、
運転室窓の上方に位置する屋根構体と、
前記運転室窓を分断するように延びて、一端が前記衝突柱に接合され、他端が前記屋根構体に接合されて前記屋根構体と前記衝突柱を連結するピラーと、
前記衝突柱に保持された正面壁と、
を備える、鉄道車両の先頭構造。 - 前記正面壁から前方に突出するように前記正面壁に取り付けられた衝突エネルギー吸収装置をさらに備える、請求項1に記載の鉄道車両の先頭構造。
- 前記衝突柱は、車両長手方向において前記衝突エネルギー吸収装置と重なり合う位置に配置されている、請求項2に記載の鉄道車両の先頭構造。
- 前記ピラーは、中実の棒状部材である、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の鉄道車両の先頭構造。
- 前記運転室窓が鉛直方向に対して傾斜していて、前記屋根構体が前記運転室窓の後方に位置しており、
前記ピラーは、前記中ハリと対向するように延びている、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の鉄道車両の先頭構造。 - 前記運転室窓の前方に配置された上面外装材をさらに備え、この上面外装材は前記衝突柱に支持されている、請求項5に記載の鉄道車両の先頭構造。
- 前記正面壁に取り付けられた、繊維強化プラスチック製のカバーをさらに備える、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の鉄道車両の先頭構造。
