化学組成がFe 2 O 3 の形で表される酸化鉄を3重量%以上含むガラスの製造方法であって、
少なくとも一種のマンガンキャリアを含有していて前記マンガンが+2より高い酸化状態であるガラス化可能なバッチ材料混合物を、溶融したガラス中に浸漬した電極を使用して電気溶融する工程を含む、
ガラスの製造方法。
《態様2》
前記ガラスの前記化学組成が、下記の成分を重量%として表され下記で定義される範囲内で含む、態様1に記載のガラスの製造方法:
SiO 2 35〜55%、特に39〜48%
Al 2 O 3 14〜27%、特に16〜27%
CaO 3〜35%、特に5〜20%
MgO 0〜15%、特に0〜5%
Na 2 O+K 2 O 1〜17%、特に9〜15%
Fe 2 O 3 3〜15%、特に3〜10%
B 2 O 3 0〜8%、特に0%
P 2 O 5 0〜3%、特に0〜1%
TiO 2 0〜2%、特に0〜1%。
《態様3》
前記マンガンキャリアは、MnO 2 、Mn 3 O 4 、Mn 2 O 3 、Mn 2 O 7 、過マンガン酸塩、特にナトリウム、カリウム、カルシウム、若しくはマグネシウムの過マンガン酸塩、又はそれらの任意の混合物から選択される、態様1又は2に記載のガラスの製造方法。
《態様4》
前記ガラス化可能なバッチ材料混合物に含有されている前記マンガンキャリアの総量は、1トンの乾燥した前記混合物がMnO 2 の形で表される+2より高い酸化状態のマンガンを、1kgと20kgの間、特に2kgと10kgの間の量で含むような量である、態様1〜3の一項に記載のガラスの製造方法。
《態様5》
前記ガラス化可能な混合物には、硝酸塩が含有されていない、態様1〜4の一項に記載のガラスの製造方法。
《態様6》
前記電極がモリブデンから作製されている、態様1〜5の一項に記載のガラスの製造方法。
《態様7》
前記溶融工程の間、タンクの耐熱材に接触して計測される前記ガラスの温度は、最も高温の箇所で、1400℃〜1650℃の範囲内である、態様1〜6の一項に記載のガラスの製造方法。
《態様8》
前記溶融工程の後で、繊維化工程の間に、前記ガラスを成形してミネラルウールにする、態様1〜7の一項に記載のガラスの製造方法。
《態様9》
下記の成分を重量%として表され下記で定義される範囲内で含む化学組成を有するガラス繊維を含むミネラルウール:

Claims (10)
- ガラスの化学組成が下記の成分を重量%として表され下記で定義される範囲内で含むガラスの製造方法であって、
少なくとも一種のマンガンキャリアを含有していて前記マンガンが+2より高い酸化状態であるガラス化可能なバッチ材料混合物を、溶融したガラス中に浸漬した電極を使用して電気溶融する工程を含む、
ガラスの製造方法:
SiO 2 35〜55%
Al 2 O 3 14〜27%
CaO 3〜35%
MgO 0〜15%
Na 2 O+K 2 O 1〜17%
Fe 2 O 3 3〜15%
B 2 O 3 0〜8%
P 2 O 5 0〜3%
TiO 2 0〜2%。 - 前記ガラスの前記化学組成が、下記の成分を重量%として表され下記で定義される範囲内で含む、請求項1に記載のガラスの製造方法:
SiO2 39〜48%
Al2O3 16〜27%
CaO 5〜20%
MgO 0〜5%
Na2O+K2O 9〜15%
Fe2O3 3〜10%
B2O3 0%
P2O5 0〜1%
TiO2 0〜1%。 - 前記マンガンキャリアは、MnO2、Mn3O4、Mn2O3、Mn2O7、過マンガン酸塩、又はそれらの任意の混合物から選択される、請求項1又は2に記載のガラスの製造方法。
- 前記ガラス化可能なバッチ材料混合物に含有されている前記マンガンキャリアの総量は、1トンの乾燥した前記混合物がMnO2の形で表される+2より高い酸化状態のマンガンを、1kgと20kgの間の量で含むような量である、請求項1〜3の一項に記載のガラスの製造方法。
- 前記ガラス化可能なバッチ材料混合物に含有されている前記マンガンキャリアの総量は、1トンの乾燥した前記混合物がMnO 2 の形で表される+2より高い酸化状態のマンガンを、2kgと10kgの間の量で含むような量である、請求項1〜4の一項に記載のガラスの製造方法。
- 前記ガラス化可能な混合物には、硝酸塩が含有されていない、請求項1〜5の一項に記載のガラスの製造方法。
- 前記電極がモリブデンから作製されている、請求項1〜6の一項に記載のガラスの製造方法。
- 前記溶融工程の間、タンクの耐熱材に接触して計測される前記ガラスの温度は、最も高温の箇所で、1400℃〜1650℃の範囲内である、請求項1〜7の一項に記載のガラスの製造方法。
- 前記溶融工程の後で、繊維化工程の間に、前記ガラスを成形してミネラルウールにする、請求項1〜8の一項に記載のガラスの製造方法。
- 下記の成分を重量%として表され下記で定義される範囲内で含む化学組成を有するガラス繊維を含むミネラルウール:
SiO 2 39〜48%
Al 2 O 3 16〜27%
CaO 5〜20%
MgO 0〜5%
Na 2 O+K 2 O 9〜15%
Fe 2 O 3 3〜10%
B 2 O 3 0%
P 2 O 5 0〜1%
TiO 2 0〜1%
MnO 2 0.5〜1%。
