Description
The present invention relates to a pneumatic tire.
The pneumatic tire is assembled to the rim and attached to the vehicle. When the vehicle is turning, a lateral force acts on the tire. This lateral force acts in a direction to remove the tire from the rim. The tire is required to have rim removal resistance so that the tire does not come off the rim.
From the viewpoint of improving the rim detachment resistance, it is effective to improve the rigidity of the buttress portion and the shoulder region of the tread. However, rolling resistance increases in a tire in which the rigidity of the buttress portion and the shoulder region of the tread is improved. Further, durability, particularly durability at high speed, tends to be lowered. Furthermore, in a tire having a main groove extending in the circumferential direction in the shoulder region of the tread, it is not easy to effectively improve the rigidity of the buttress portion or the shoulder region of the tread.
An object of the present invention is to provide a tire with improved rim detachment resistance while suppressing an increase in rolling resistance and a decrease in durability.

0.5 ≦ (Tb/Ta) ≦ 1.0
0.4 ≦ (Tc/Ta) ≦ 0.8

A pair of beads, a carcass spanned between one bead and the other bead along the inside of the tread and the sidewall, a belt laminated with the carcass radially inside the tread, and the belt and the tread And a pair of wings joined to the outer side in the axial direction of the tread and the outer side in the radial direction of the sidewall. The tread includes a center region located in the center in the axial direction and a pair of shoulder regions located outside the center region in the axial direction. A main groove extending in the circumferential direction is formed on the tread surface of the shoulder region. The band includes a full band extending from one shoulder region in the axial direction to the other shoulder region, and a pair of edge bands stacked on the full band in the shoulder region. The edge band extends from the bottom of the main groove located on the outermost side in the shoulder region to the outer end in the axial direction of the belt from the inner side by 10 mm or more in the axial direction. This tire is equipped with a belt, a full band and a pair of edge bands, and the thickness from the center of the tread to the buttress part is within a predetermined range, so the rigidity from the shoulder region to the buttress part is effective. Enhanced. Further, in this tire, an increase in rolling resistance is suppressed and a decrease in durability is suppressed.

0.5 ≦ (Tb / Ta) ≦ 1.0
Since this ratio (Tb / Ta) is 0.5 or more, the rigidity of the shoulder region S is improved. This improvement in rigidity improves the resistance to rim removal. From this viewpoint, the ratio (Tb / Ta) is preferably 0.6 or more, and more preferably 0.7 or more. The measured lateral force values are shown in Tables 1 to 3. Under the test conditions defined by this FMVSS 139, the value of the lateral force satisfying the standard is 11250 N or more. A larger value of the measured lateral force is preferable from the viewpoint of rim detachment resistance.
[Durability evaluation]
A running test was conducted with a drum tester in accordance with the test conditions defined by FMVSS139. The presence or absence of a tire failure after the running test was determined. The results are shown in Tables 1 to 3. “Good” indicates that no failure was found. “CHK-NG” indicates the occurrence of a so-called chunking phenomenon of tread rubber. “BEL-NG” indicates the occurrence of so-called BEL, a phenomenon of topping rubber destruction due to fatigue at the belt end.
[High-speed evaluation]
A running test was conducted with a drum tester in accordance with the test conditions defined by ECE-R30. The result satisfying the standard under this condition is a speed of 230 km / h and a time of 20 minutes. Tires in which no failure was observed at the speed and time of this standard continued to travel until the failure occurred at a speed of 10 km / h every 10 minutes. The results are shown in Tables 1 to 3. For example, “250-10” in Example 1 indicates that no failure occurred during traveling for 10 minutes at a speed of 250 km / h. Other examples and comparative examples are also described in the same manner as in Example 1. It shows that it is excellent in high-speed running durability, so that this speed is large.
速度:80km/h
[Rolling resistance evaluation]
The rolling resistance of the tire incorporated in the regular rim was measured using a rolling resistance tester under the conditions of JATMA standards. The internal pressure, load and speed of this test were as follows. The measured rolling resistance values are shown in Tables 1 to 3. This value indicates that the smaller the value, the better.
Internal pressure: 200 kPa
Load: 4.35kN
Speed: 80km / h
As shown in Tables 1 to 3, the tires of the examples have improved rim detachment resistance while suppressing an increase in rolling resistance and a decrease in durability as compared with the tires of the comparative examples. From this evaluation result, the superiority of the present invention is clear.
The tire according to the present invention can be mounted on various vehicles.
