Description
a)構造
b)i)アニオン性界面活性剤とii)カチオン性界面活性剤または非イオン性界面活性剤とを含む乳化安定剤の組み合わせ;およびc)フリーラジカル開始剤を含む。
(b)(i)アニオン性界面活性剤と(ii)カチオン性界面活性剤または非イオン性界面活性剤とを含む乳化安定剤の組み合わせ;および(c)フリーラジカル開始剤を含む反応混合物の乳化重合によってフルオロポリマーを調製するための方法が提供される。
a)構造
b)i)アニオン性界面活性剤と;
ii)カチオン性界面活性剤または非イオン性界面活性剤とを含む乳化安定剤の組み合わせ;および
c)フリーラジカル開始剤
を含む。
Claims (13)
- フルオロポリマーの調製のための方法であって:
a)構造
b)i)前記フルオロモノマー基準で8〜17重量%の範囲内の量であるアニオン性界面活性剤と、
ii)カチオン性界面活性剤と、を含む乳化安定剤の組み合わせであって、ここで前記カチオン性界面活性剤は前記フルオロモノマー基準で0.8〜5重量%の量である、組み合わせ;および、
c)前記フルオロモノマー基準で2〜5重量%の量であるフリーラジカル開始剤
を含む反応混合物の水性媒体中での乳化重合のステップによって特徴づけられる、方法。 - 前記アニオン性界面活性剤が前記フルオロモノマー基準で10〜15重量%の範囲の量であり、前記カチオン性界面活性剤が前記フルオロモノマー基準で1〜3重量%である、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記乳化重合が40℃〜80℃の範囲の最高温度で実施され、前記反応混合物が30〜50%の範囲の固形分(パーセント)を有し、前記フルオロモノマーのR1、R2、およびR3がフッ素原子である、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記フルオロモノマーがα,β,β−トリフルオロスチレンである、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記アニオン性界面活性剤が、C8〜C12アルキル硫酸塩、ドデシル硫酸ナトリウム、ラウリル硫酸アンモニウム、ドデシルベンゼンスルホン酸ナトリウム、デシル硫酸ナトリウム、オクチル硫酸ナトリウム、2−エチルヘキシル硫酸ナトリウム、ジオクチルスルホコハク酸ナトリウム、デシルベンゼンスルホン酸ナトリウム、ドデシルベンゼンスルホン酸ナトリウム、ポリ(エチレングリコール)4−ノニルフェニル3−スルホプロピルエーテルカリウム塩、アルキルジフェニルオキシドジスルホン酸塩、パーフルオロブタンスルホン酸塩、およびパーフルオロオクタンスルホン酸塩を含む群から選択される1以上であり、前記カチオン性界面活性剤が、C8〜C12アルキルアミン塩酸塩、ドデシルアミン塩酸塩、ジ−ドデシルアミン塩酸塩、セチルトリメチルアンモニウムクロリド、ジメチルジオクタデシルアンモニウムクロリド、およびN−ドデシルピリジニウムクロリドを含む群から選択される1以上である、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記アニオン性界面活性剤が前記フルオロモノマー基準で10〜15重量%の量のC8〜C12アルキル硫酸塩であり、前記カチオン性界面活性剤が前記フルオロモノマー基準で1〜3重量%の量のC8〜C12アルキルアミン塩酸塩であり、そして前記フリーラジカル開始剤が前記フルオロモノマー基準で2〜5重量%である、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記乳化重合が60℃の最高温度で実施される、請求項6記載の方法。
- 前記フルオロモノマーが、フルオロモノマーの重量基準で5%の残留THF含有量を有し、前記反応混合物が、スチレン、メチルアクリレート、メチルメタクリレート、ブチルアクリレート、ブチルメタクリレート、2−エチルヘキシルアクリレート、アクリル酸、メタクリル酸、α−メチルスチレン、4−メチルスチレン、ビニルビフェニル、アクリロニトリル、およびイソプレンからなる群から選択される1以上のエチレン性不飽和モノマーをさらに含む、請求項1記載の方法。
- Rが、アルキル、置換アルキル、ハロゲン、ヒドロキシル、カルボキシル、ニトロ、アルコキシ、アミノ、スルホネート、ホスフェート、アシル、アシルオキシ、フェニル、アルコキシカルボニル、およびシアノを含む群から選択される、請求項1記載の方法。
- 噴霧乾燥、pHの変更、無機塩の添加、水の部分的除去、および冷却を含む群から選択される1以上の方法を使用することによって前記フルオロポリマーエマルジョンを加工して粒子状固体を得るステップ;および、
非溶媒での洗浄、抽出、濾過、および再沈殿を含む群から選択される1以上の方法を使用することによって前記粒子状固体をさらに精製して、前記界面活性剤および他の不純物を除去するステップによってさらに特徴づけられる、請求項1記載の方法。 - 請求項1記載の方法にしたがって作製された200℃より高いガラス転移温度(Tg)を有するフルオロポリマー。
- 前記アニオン性界面活性剤がドデシル硫酸ナトリウムであり、前記カチオン性界面活性剤が、ドデシルアミン塩酸塩である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記フルオロポリマーの重量平均分子量(Mw)が200,000g/モルより大きく、前記フルオロポリマーのガラス転移温度(Tg)が200℃より高い、請求項1に記載の方法。
