Description
The present invention relates to compaction vehicles.
A traveling drive system of a compacting vehicle such as a vibration roller for earthwork often has a structure that drives a wheel by driving a hydraulic pump with an engine and supplying pressure oil from the hydraulic pump to a hydraulic motor. An example of the layout in the engine hood of the vibration roller for earthwork includes one in which a radiator, a cooling fan, and an engine are arranged in that order from one end side in the vehicle front-rear direction. When the vehicle travels and the cooling fan rotates, air is taken into the engine hood from an intake port formed on one end side in the vehicle front-rear direction. The taken-in air flows in the engine hood as wind around the radiator and the engine to cool them, and is exhausted from an exhaust port formed on the other end side in the vehicle longitudinal direction from the engine.
There are mainly three noise sources related to running of the compacted vehicle: (1) sound generated by the engine itself, (2) sound generated by the rotation of the cooling fan, and (3) sound generated by the hydraulic motor system. Among these, the sounds (1) and (2) are particularly loud. These sounds penetrate through the engine hood and leak, or ride on the air flowing through the engine hood and leak out from the exhaust port. Conventionally, a noise absorbing material has been attached to the inside of the engine hood as a noise countermeasure. However, there may be a case where a predetermined low noise level is not reached only by the effect of the sound absorbing material.
Although a method such as providing a soundproof wall inside the engine hood is conceivable, there is a problem that the cooling function of the engine is impaired because the air flow in the engine hood changes. For this reason, it is required to reduce the noise generated by riding on the exhaust from the engine hood while securing the air flow path that passes around the engine in the engine hood as usual. As a technique for reducing the noise in the engine hood, a structure in which a duct is provided outside the engine hood can be cited. One conventional example is described in
An object of the present invention is to make it possible to easily assemble a duct to an engine hood and to reduce noise by the duct structure without impairing the cooling function of the engine.
In order to solve the above problems, the present invention includes an engine hood having an upper plate portion and a pair of left and right side plate portions, and a radiator, a cooling fan, and an engine are arranged in that order from one end side in the vehicle front-rear direction. Formed in the side plate portion of the compacted vehicle in which the air sucked from the intake port by the cooling fan passes around the engine and is exhausted from the exhaust port at the other end side in the vehicle front-rear direction than the engine. An exhaust duct for exhausting part of the air in the engine hood to the outside through the duct communication hole is detachably provided on the outside of the side plate portion, and the duct communication hole is located on the other end side in the vehicle longitudinal direction from the engine. It is characterized by that.
According to the present invention, the exhaust duct can be easily assembled to the engine hood, so that the noise of the compacted vehicle by the duct structure can be reduced. Exhaust ducts can be easily attached to existing compacted vehicles without requiring major modifications.
According to the present invention, since the duct communication hole is located on the downstream side of the air flow with respect to the engine, all of the air passes around the engine and part of it enters the exhaust duct. Therefore, the cooling function of the conventional engine is not impaired.
Moreover, the present invention is characterized in that a sound absorbing material is adhered to the inner surface of the exhaust duct.
According to the present invention, since the sound absorbing function by the sound absorbing material also acts, the noise can be further reduced.
In the present invention, the exhaust duct extends in the vehicle longitudinal direction from one end side located near the position where the cooling fan is disposed to the other end side where the duct communication hole is located. The vehicle width direction duct width on one end side of the exhaust duct is different from the vehicle width direction duct width on the other end side of the exhaust duct so that sound transmission loss using the cooling fan as a sound source is increased on one end side of the exhaust duct. It is characterized by being set to.
ADVANTAGE OF THE INVENTION According to this invention, coexistence with the ventilation function and low noise function of a duct can be aimed at easily.
According to the present invention, the exhaust duct can be easily assembled to the engine hood, so that the noise of the compacted vehicle by the duct structure can be reduced. Exhaust ducts can be easily attached to existing compacted vehicles without requiring major modifications.
Hereinafter, an embodiment in which the compaction vehicle is a vibration roller for earthwork will be described. In FIG. 1 to FIG. 3, the earth vibration roller R is an articulated roller in which a
As shown in FIG. 6, the
As shown in FIG. 5, a
The
As described above, when the cooling
"
The
As shown in FIG. 6, the
The
As shown in FIG. 6, each edge of the duct
In FIG. 4, the duct
Further, the duct
A sound absorbing material (for example, urethane foam) 29 is adhered to the inner surface of the
"Action"
When the cooling
When a part of the air enters the
Here, in FIG. 5 (b), the air that has entered the
Further, according to the present invention, the
When the urethane foam deteriorates or peels off with the passage of time and the soundproofing effect declines, if the
Next, the effect of making the vehicle width direction duct width W2 different from the vehicle width direction duct width W1 will be described.
The inventor has analyzed the frequency of noise at a fixed point separated from the vibration roller for earthwork by a predetermined distance with respect to the vibration roller for earthwork not provided with the exhaust duct 21 (rightward 10.4 m from the vehicle center surface position as the origin, 4. A sound pressure level (A characteristic) characteristic at each frequency measured with a microphone at a position of 32 m and a height of 11.36 m from the ground surface was performed. As a result, as shown in FIG. 8, it was analyzed as follows that the sound having a main frequency of 300 to 1000 Hz was particularly loud and the large noise source was the cooling
When a sound wave having a certain frequency is incident on a rigid material, the bending vibration of the material and the vibration of the incident sound wave coincide with each other, and a kind of resonance state occurs. This phenomenon is called a coincidence effect. At the frequency corresponding to the resonance point due to the resonance, the sound insulation performance is remarkably lowered due to the coincidence effect. The problem here is the resonance phenomenon caused by the air filling the hollow space in the duct acting as a spring. Since the transmission loss rate is 0 at the resonance point, the sound at the frequency of the resonance point cannot be reduced. The analysis of the coincidence effect, that is, the transmission loss rate, was published in “Air Conditioning /
In Equation (1), T L0 is the transmission loss rate, m is the wall surface density, d is the thickness of the hollow layer, k = ω / c 0 is the wavelength constant, ρ 0 is the air density, and c 0 is the air. The speed of sound inside. This equation (1) is an equation when the light is incident perpendicular to the wall, but the value of the coordinate transformation matrix of equation (34) described on page 82 of the document changes even when the light is incident obliquely. However, the trend was not changed, so it was ignored.
The present inventor has analyzed the
As can be seen from this graph, it was found that when the duct width of 200 mm was extended to the horizontal position of the cooling
In this way, when one end of the
