BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
More particularly, the present invention relates to a construction machine such as a hydraulic excavator or a crane, and more specifically, a radiator and a cooling fan are provided in front of the engine, and the engine is effectively cooled by the fan air generated by the cooling fan. The present invention relates to a construction machine that can reduce engine noise and the like emitted from a room.
[0002]
[Prior art]
As is well known, in a construction machine such as a hydraulic excavator, the ambient noise is reduced by covering an engine, a cooling fan, a hydraulic pump, and the like which are noise sources with an engine guard. However, in order to cool a heat generation source such as an engine, it is necessary to provide an intake opening for cooling air and an opening for exhaust in the engine guard, so generation of noise cannot be avoided. Therefore, various ideas have been made to reduce the noise emitted from the exhaust opening. As engine guards for hydraulic excavators designed to reduce noise, those disclosed in, for example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open Nos. 2001-193102 and 7-158111 are known.
[0003]
First, an engine cooling air passage of a hydraulic excavator according to Conventional Example 1 of the former (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2001-193102) will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. 3 is a partial perspective view of a hydraulic excavator to which an engine cooling air passage is applied, FIG. 4 is a partial cross-sectional view of the engine room, and FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional view taken along line BB in FIG.

Next, an engine / pump room of a hydraulic excavator (hydraulic working machine) according to Conventional Example 2 of the latter (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 7-158111) will be described with reference to an example in which the construction machine is a hydraulic excavator. This will be described with reference to FIG.

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The engine cooling air passage of the hydraulic excavator according to the conventional example 1 and the engine pump room of the hydraulic excavator according to the conventional example 2 are considered to be useful as they are, but still have problems as described later. That is, in the case of the engine cooling air passage of the hydraulic excavator according to the conventional example 1, the
[0011]
Therefore, according to the engine cooling air passage of the hydraulic excavator according to the conventional example 1, the fan air receives a large resistance. That is, a large resistance is received when the fan wind flows into the fan wind diversion opening, and a large resistance is received when the first fan wind diversion channel and the second fan wind diversion duct are discharged from the upward opening. In addition, the

Further, in the case of the engine / pump room of the hydraulic excavator according to the above-described conventional example 2, the engine /

Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a construction machine that can effectively cool an engine and that is low in noise.
[0014]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and therefore, in order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the features of the means adopted by the construction machine according to claim 1 of the present invention are at least a hood (3 ) And a side cover (2), and an engine room (5) formed in the engine guard (1) has an engine (6) and a front portion of the engine (6). In a construction machine in which a radiator (8) for cooling a cooling fan (6a) mounted on the side and a hydraulic pump (7) mounted on the rear side of the engine (6) are accommodated, the engine room (5 ) In the rear of the engine (6) and above the hydraulic pump (7) is provided with a straight exhaust duct (10) , the exhaust duct ( 10 ) along the engine ( 6 ) cold the engine (6) flow The fan air, the guides in the horizontal direction without bending by passing the exhaust duct (10), is in place and to discharge horizontally from the discharge port (10a) of the discharge duct (10).
[0015]
According to the construction machine of the first aspect, a straight exhaust duct is provided behind the engine in the engine room and above the hydraulic pump (7), and flows along the engine. The fan air that cools the engine is guided in the horizontal direction without bending by passing through the discharge duct, and is discharged in the horizontal direction from the discharge port of the discharge duct . Therefore, the fan wind generated by the rotation of the cooling fan installed perpendicular to the ground flows along the engine and is then discharged without bending through the exhaust duct. On the other hand, engine sound or the like attenuated by repeated reflection in the engine room is further attenuated and emitted by repeated reflection in the exhaust duct. Therefore, unlike the engine room (engine / pump room) of the hydraulic excavator according to the conventional example 1 or 2, noise such as engine sound is not released upward, so that ambient noise of the construction machine can be lowered. And since the exhaust duct which protruded the outer side of the engine guard is not provided like the prior art example 1, there is no possibility that the rear view of a construction machine may be obstructed by an exhaust duct. Further, since the heat that has moved to the upper side of the engine can be discharged from the exhaust duct provided at the rear of the engine room and at the upper position of the hydraulic pump, the engine can be effectively cooled.
[0016]
The construction machine according to
[0017]
According to the construction machine of the second aspect, the sound absorbing material is attached to the inner wall of the exhaust duct. Therefore, since noise such as engine sound released from the exhaust port in the horizontal direction is absorbed by the sound absorbing material, engine noise emitted from the exhaust duct in the horizontal direction can be reduced to a low level.
[0018]
A feature of the means adopted by the construction machine according to
[0019]
According to the construction machine of the third aspect, the partition plate having the sound absorbing material on the surface is disposed in the exhaust duct in the direction along the flow of the cooling air. Accordingly, since noise such as engine sound is absorbed more when passing through the exhaust duct, the noise such as engine sound emitted from the exhaust duct in the horizontal direction is set to a lower level than in the case of the above-described second aspect. Can do.

In the first or second embodiment, the case where the counter weight is arranged at the rear part of the engine room has been described as an example. However, when the counter weight is arranged on the left, right, left, right, and rear part of the engine room, the counter weight or the counter is used. The partition with the weight corresponds to the side cover.

【Example】
An example where noise is measured for the engine guard 1 according to the first embodiment will be described. That is, the sound PWL of the engine guard of a 12-ton class hydraulic excavator was measured according to the noise test method specified in ISO6395. In the case of the engine guard according to Conventional Example 2 in which no exhaust duct was installed, it was 93 dBA. On the other hand, in this example, it was 89.2 dBA, and could be reduced by 3.8 dBA. Here, as described above, the acoustic PWL is measured based on ISO6395, and is measured at six points on a hemispherical surface having a radius of 10 m centering on the ground at the turning center. Note that the noise level at the upper height of 7 m of the excavator was changed from 69 dBA to 62 dBA, which was reduced by 7 dBA.
[0032]
Further, when the air volume of the fan wind was measured in front of the radiator, it was 103.2 m 3 / min in the case of the engine guard according to Conventional Example 2. On the other hand, in the case of this example, it was 102.9 m 3 / min within the measurement error range, and although the
[0033]
In the first or second embodiment of the present invention, the case where the technical idea of the present invention is applied to the engine guard of a hydraulic excavator has been described as an example. However, since the technical idea of the present invention can be applied to the engine guard of many construction machines such as a self-propelled crane, it is not limited to the engine guard of a hydraulic excavator. Aside from the exhaust duct, a vent hole may be provided in the side cover facing the hydraulic pump. For example, an opening or another exhaust duct may be provided in front (or rear) of the engine room.
[0034]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the construction machine according to claims 1 to 3 of the present invention, the straight exhaust duct is provided behind the engine in the engine room and above the hydraulic pump. The fan wind that flows along the engine and cools the engine is guided in the horizontal direction without bending by passing through the discharge duct, and is discharged in the horizontal direction from the discharge port of the discharge duct . . Therefore, the fan wind generated by the rotation of the cooling fan installed perpendicular to the ground flows along the engine and is then discharged without bending through the exhaust duct. Therefore, the fan wind does not stay in the engine room, and the engine can be effectively cooled. On the other hand, engine sound or the like attenuated by repeated reflection in the engine room is further attenuated and emitted after repeated reflection in the exhaust duct. Therefore, unlike the engine / pump room of the hydraulic excavator according to the conventional example 1 or 2, noise such as engine noise is not released upward, so that ambient noise of the construction machine can be lowered. And since the exhaust duct which protrudes on the outer side of an engine guard is not provided like the case of the engine cooling air path of the hydraulic shovel which concerns on the prior art example 1, the rear view of a construction machine is obstructed by an exhaust duct There is no fear. Further, since the heat that has moved to the upper side of the engine can be discharged from the exhaust duct provided at the rear of the engine room and at the upper position of the hydraulic pump, the engine can be effectively cooled.

In the construction machine according to
