Description
本発明の実施例1を図1〜図9によって説明する。実施例1の端子金具10は、導電性の金属板を曲げ加工等して一体に成形され、本体部11と、バレル部12と、弾性接触片13とを備えている。本体部11とバレル部12とは互いに一体とされ、弾性接触片13はこれら本体部11とバレル部12とは別体とされている。また、弾性接触片13は、本体部11及びバレル部12よりも高硬度に構成されている。なお、以下の説明において、前後方向については、端子金具10が相手側の雄端子90(図6を参照)と接続されるに際し、雄端子90が位置する側を前方とし、上下方向については、図2〜図4を基準とする。
組み付けに際し、図9に示すように、展開形状において、本体部11の底壁14に弾性接触片13が載置される。続いて、図1、図4及び図6に示すように、本体部11のかしめ片27が折り返し状に屈曲されて、弾性接触片13のかしめ領域33にかしめて圧着される。このとき、図2に示すように、かしめ片27とかしめ領域33のそれぞれの圧着面38、39が互いに対面して、突部28がかしめ領域33の圧着面39に筋状に食い込むように接触するとともに、突部36がかしめ片27の圧着面38に筋状に食い込むように接触し、且つ、弾性接触片13と本体部11との硬度差に起因して、突部36が突部28に強固に食い込むように作用し、突部28が突部36によって実質的に圧潰された状態になる。かくして、弾性接触片13が底壁14に強固に固定される。とりわけ、両突部28、36間の引っ掛かり構造が本体部11内への雄端子90の挿抜方向とほぼ直交する方向に形成されるため、本体部11に対する雄端子90の挿抜時又は前後遊動時に、弾性接触片13が本体部11に対して位置ずれするのが阻止される。なお、図1に示すように、支点部32は、前後方向に関して、両突部28、36の接触位置と同一位置又は両突部28、36の接触位置よりも僅かに後方に位置している。
本発明は上記記述及び図面によって説明した実施例に限定されるものではなく、例えば次のような態様も本発明の技術的範囲に含まれる。
(1)かしめ片が本体部ではなく弾性接触片に設けられるものであってもよい。
(2)かしめ領域から突部を省略してもよく、あるいは、本体部のかしめ片から突部を省略してもよい。
(3)突部は、必ずしも雄端子の挿入方向に対して直交する方向に延出する形態でなくてもよく、挿入方向に対して斜めに延出する形態であってもよい。
(4)本体部の方が弾性接触片よりも高硬度に形成されるものであってもよい。

- 筒状に形成され、内部に雄端子が挿入される本体部と、
前記本体部とは別体であって、前記本体部の内部に撓み可能に配置され、挿入された前記雄端子と弾性的に接触する弾性接触片とを備え、
前記本体部と前記弾性接触片のいずれかには、相手方に対してかしめて固定されるかしめ片が設けられ、
前記かしめ片と前記相手方とが互いに圧着し合う圧着面のうち、少なくとも一方の圧着面には、他方の圧着面に対し、かしめ時に食い込むように作用する突部が設けられ、
前記本体部と前記弾性接触片との間に硬度差が設けられ、少なくとも、硬度が高い方に、前記突部が設けられていることを特徴とする端子金具。 - 筒状に形成され、内部に雄端子が挿入される本体部と、
前記本体部とは別体であって、前記本体部の内部に撓み可能に配置され、挿入された前記雄端子と弾性的に接触する弾性接触片とを備え、
前記本体部と前記弾性接触片のいずれかには、相手方に対してかしめて固定されるかしめ片が設けられ、
前記かしめ片と前記相手方とが互いに圧着し合う圧着面のうち、少なくとも一方の圧着面には、他方の圧着面に対し、かしめ時に食い込むように作用する突部が設けられ、
前記突部が、前記雄端子の挿入方向と交差する方向にリブ状に延出する形態とされていることを特徴とする端子金具。 - 筒状に形成され、内部に雄端子が挿入される本体部と、
前記本体部とは別体であって、前記本体部の内部に撓み可能に配置され、挿入された前記雄端子と弾性的に接触する弾性接触片とを備え、
前記本体部と前記弾性接触片のいずれかには、相手方に対してかしめて固定されるかしめ片が設けられ、
前記かしめ片と前記相手方とが互いに圧着し合う両圧着面には、一方から他方の圧着面に対し、かしめ時に食い込むように作用する突部が設けられ、それぞれの前記突部は、リブ状に延出する形態とされ、且つ、かしめ時に互いに交差して接触することを特徴とする端子金具。
