前記キャリヤ(CR)の前記ショートピニオンギヤ(P4)及びロングピニオンギヤ(P3)を支持する構造体(100)は、キャリヤ本体(52)と、キャリヤカバー(51)と、環状部材(52h)と、を有し、
前記キャリヤ本体(52)は、円環状のフランジ部(52f)と、該フランジ部に一体の厚肉部(52a)と、該厚肉部より延びたブリッジ部(52b)と、を有し、前記フランジ部(52f)と前記キャリヤカバー(51)との間にロングピニオンギヤ収納空間(B)を形成すると共に、前記厚肉部(52a)と前記キャリヤカバー(51)との間にショートピニオンギヤ収納空間(A)を形成し、
前記ショートピニオンギヤ収納空間(A)の外径側は、前記ブリッジ部(52b)が前記ショートピニオンギヤ(P4)を覆うように前記厚肉部(52a)から延びて、該ブリッジ部の先端にて前記キャリヤカバー(51)が一体に固定され、
前記ロングピニオンギヤ収納空間(B)の外径側は、一体に形成された前記厚肉部及び前記ブリッジ部(52b)の周方向間部分を開放する開口(C)からなり、
前記ブリッジ部(52b)の外周面に、前記所定の摩擦係合要素(C−2)の摩擦部材(21b)が係合するスプライン(52s)が形成されてなる、
ことを特徴とする自動変速機にある。
該円筒部に、前記所定の摩擦係合要素(C−2)と異なる係合手段(F−1)を装着してなる。
該ハブ部材に、前記所定の摩擦係合要素(C−2)と異なる他の摩擦係合要素(B−2)の摩擦部材(31b)を係合し、
前記所定の摩擦係合要素(C−2)と前記他の摩擦係合要素(B−2)とは、径方向視で軸方向に少なくとも一部が重なるように配置されてなる。

- ショートピニオンギヤ及びロングピニオンギヤを有するキャリヤと、該キャリヤの外周側に配置された所定の摩擦係合要素と、を備えた自動変速機において、
前記キャリヤの前記ショートピニオンギヤ及びロングピニオンギヤを支持する構造体は、キャリヤ本体と、キャリヤカバーと、環状部材と、を有し、
前記キャリヤ本体は、円環状のフランジ部と、該フランジ部に一体に形成された厚肉部と、該厚肉部より延びて前記厚肉部に一体に形成されたブリッジ部と、を有し、前記フランジ部と前記キャリヤカバーとの間にロングピニオンギヤ収納空間を形成すると共に、前記厚肉部と前記キャリヤカバーとの間にショートピニオンギヤ収納空間を形成し、
前記ショートピニオンギヤ収納空間の外径側は、前記ブリッジ部が前記ショートピニオンギヤを覆うように前記厚肉部から延びて、該ブリッジ部の先端にて前記キャリヤカバーが一体に固定され、
前記ロングピニオンギヤ収納空間の外径側は、一体に形成された前記厚肉部及び前記ブリッジ部の周方向間部分を開放する開口からなり、
前記ブリッジ部の前記厚肉部側外周部分に、全周に亘る円環状の前記環状部材を一体に固定してなり、
前記ブリッジ部の外周面に、前記所定の摩擦係合要素の摩擦部材が嵌合するスプラインが形成されてなる、
ことを特徴とする自動変速機。 - 前記ロングピニオンギヤは、前記ブリッジ部の内周面の周方向延長線と一部交差するように、前記開口内に前記ブリッジ部と周方向に重なるように配置されてなる、
請求項1記載の自動変速機。 - 前記環状部材は、前記厚肉部の外径側にて該厚肉部の外周面と平行に延びる円筒部を有し、
該円筒部に、前記所定の摩擦係合要素と異なる係合手段を装着してなる、
請求項1又は2記載の自動変速機。 - 前記環状部材は、前記摩擦係合要素の外径側にて、前記ブリッジ部の外周面と平行に延びるハブ部材を有し、
該ハブ部材に、前記所定の摩擦係合要素と異なる他の摩擦係合要素の摩擦部材を係合し、
前記所定の摩擦係合要素と前記他の摩擦係合要素とは、径方向視で軸方向に少なくとも一部が重なるように配置されてなる、
請求項2ないし3のいずれか1項記載の自動変速機。 - 前記ロングピニオンギヤは、前記厚肉部及び前記ブリッジ部と周方向に交互に配置され、かつ前記ブリッジ部の外周面に嵌合する前記所定の摩擦係合要素の摩擦部材と干渉することなく配置されてなる、
請求項1ないし4のいずれか1項記載の自動変速機。
