[001]本願は、2006年6月20日に出願された“細胞の凍結保存のための装置及び方法”という名称の同時係属の米国仮特許出願第60/814,982号に基づく優先権を主張している。当該出願の全体が本明細書に参考として組み入れられている。
Claims (9)
- 凍結保存装置であり、
凍結保存条件下に置かれるバイアルであって、該バイアルは、凍結保存された液体サンプルを貯蔵し、当該バイアル内への入口嵌合部開口を備えているバイアルと、
前記入口嵌合部に取り付けられたアダプタであって、第一の管状の分岐部と第二の管状の分岐部とを備えており、当該第二の管状の分岐部は管係合嵌合部内で終端している、前記アダプタと、
一端が前記第二の管状分岐部に設けられた前記管係合嵌合部と係合せしめられている、ある長さの可撓性の熱シール可能な管と、
を備えており、
前記ある長さの可撓性の熱シール可能な管は、該ある長さの可撓性の熱シール可能な管の他端において閉塞を形成するように熱シールされており、
該凍結保存装置は、−196℃の温度の極低温状態での貯蔵が可能なようになされており、前記熱シール可能な管は、前記の極低温状態で熱シールを維持するように作動可能である、ことを特徴とする凍結保存装置。 - 請求項1に記載の凍結保存装置であり、
前記嵌合部が掛かり部を有する嵌合部であることを特徴とする凍結保存装置。 - 請求項1に記載の凍結保存装置であり、
前記管が、前記バイアルが直立しているときに、当該管の前記他端が前記第一の分岐部の上方に位置するような長さを有している可撓性の管であることを特徴とする凍結保存装置。 - 請求項1に記載の凍結保存装置であり、
自動核形成装置を更に備えていることを特徴とする凍結保存装置。 - 請求項1に記載の凍結保存装置であり、
管のクリップを更に備えており、該管のクリップは、前記第一の管状の分岐部と前記第二の管状の分岐部とを安定化させる構造とされている、ことを特徴とする凍結保存装置。 - 凍結保存装置であり、
液体サンプルを受け入れ且つ貯蔵するための容器であって、該容器はバイアルであってバッグではなく、前記バイアルは、当該バイアル内への入口嵌合部の開口を備えている容器と、
前記入口嵌合部に取り付けられたアダプタであって、第一の管状の分岐部と第二の管状の分岐部とを備えており、当該第二の管状の分岐部は管係合嵌合部内で終端している前記アダプタと、
一端が前記第二の管状分岐部に設けられた前記管係合嵌合部と係合せしめられている可撓性の熱シール可能な管と、を備えており、
該凍結保存装置は、−196℃の温度の極低温状態での貯蔵が可能なようになされており、前記可撓性の熱シール可能な管は、前記の極低温状態で熱シールを維持するように作動可能である、ことを特徴とする凍結保存装置。 - 請求項6に記載の凍結保存装置であり、
前記可撓性の熱シール可能な管の他端に隔膜を更に備えており、該隔膜は針によって穿刺されるようになされている、ことを特徴とする凍結保存装置。 - 請求項6に記載の凍結保存装置であり、
前記バイアルからのサンプルの殺菌性の抜き取りのための隔膜を更に備えている、ことを特徴とする凍結保存装置。 - 請求項6に記載の凍結保存装置であり、
該凍結保存装置は閉塞され且つシールされ、前記バイアルは細胞サンプルを包含しており、前記熱シール可能な管が熱シールされている、ことを特徴とする凍結保存装置。
