Description
Claims (9)
- 複数の二次電池にそれぞれ対応して設けられ、対応する二次電池を放電させ、その放電されたエネルギーを熱に変換するための複数の放電部と、
前記変換された熱に基づき生じる温度を検出する温度検出部と、
前記複数の二次電池のうち放電させるべき二次電池に対応する放電部を選択放電部として選択し、前記選択放電部によって放電を実行させることによって、前記複数の二次電池に蓄電されている電気量を均等化させる均等化制御部とを備え、
前記均等化制御部は、
前記選択放電部によって前記二次電池を放電させる場合、周期的かつパルス状のパルス電流によって放電させると共に、前記パルス電流のデューティ比を変化させることによって放電電流を調節し、
前記選択放電部によって前記二次電池を放電させる場合において、前記温度検出部によって検出された温度が予め設定された基準温度より高いとき、前記温度が前記基準温度より低いときよりも前記放電電流を減少させるように、前記パルス電流のデューティ比を設定し、
前記温度検出部によって検出された温度が、前記基準温度より高い温度に予め設定された停止温度以上のとき、前記複数の放電部による放電を停止させるように、前記パルス電流のデューティ比を設定し、
かつ、前記温度検出部によって検出された温度が前記基準温度より高いときにおける前記デューティ比を、このデューティ比の前記パルス電流を前記選択放電部によって流し続けた場合に前記温度検出部によって検出される温度の上昇が、前記停止温度より低い温度で定常状態に移行する比率に予め設定している均等化回路。 - 前記均等化制御部は、
前記選択放電部によって前記二次電池を放電させる場合において、前記温度が前記基準温度に満たないとき、前記温度が高いほど前記二次電池の放電電流を減少させる請求項1記載の均等化回路。 - 前記複数の放電部は、
抵抗体とスイッチング素子とが直列に接続されて構成された直列回路が、対応する二次電池と並列に接続されて構成され、
前記均等化制御部は、
前記スイッチング素子をパルス状にオン、オフさせることによって、前記パルス電流を生じさせる請求項1記載の均等化回路。 - 前記複数の放電部は、
抵抗値が可変にされた負荷であり、
前記均等化制御部は、
前記パルス電流のデューティ比と前記負荷の抵抗値とを変化させることによって前記放電電流を調節する請求項1又は2記載の均等化回路。 - 複数の二次電池にそれぞれ対応して設けられ、対応する二次電池を放電させ、その放電されたエネルギーを熱に変換するための複数の放電部と、
前記変換された熱に基づき生じる温度を検出する温度検出部と、
前記複数の二次電池のうち放電させるべき二次電池に対応する放電部を選択放電部として選択し、前記選択放電部によって放電を実行させることによって、前記複数の二次電池に蓄電されている電気量を均等化させる均等化制御部とを備え、
前記均等化制御部は、
前記選択放電部によって前記二次電池を放電させる場合において、前記温度検出部によって検出された温度が予め設定された基準温度より高いとき、前記温度が前記基準温度より低いときよりも放電電流を減少させ、
前記温度検出部によって検出された温度が、前記基準温度より高い温度に予め設定された停止温度以上のとき、前記複数の放電部による放電を停止させ、
前記複数の放電部は、
抵抗値が可変にされた負荷であり、
前記均等化制御部は、
前記負荷の抵抗値を変化させることによって前記放電電流を調節し、
前記温度が前記基準温度より高いときにおける前記抵抗値として、前記負荷をこの抵抗値にした状態で前記選択放電部によって前記二次電池を放電し続けた場合に前記温度検出部によって検出される温度の上昇が、前記停止温度より低い温度で定常状態に移行する抵抗値が予め設定されている均等化回路。 - 前記複数の放電部は、
抵抗値が可変にされた負荷であり、
前記均等化制御部は、
前記選択放電部によって前記二次電池を放電させる場合、周期的かつパルス状のパルス電流によって放電させると共に、前記温度が前記基準温度より高いとき、前記温度が前記基準温度より低いときよりも前記放電電流を減少させるように、前記放電部の抵抗値及び前記パルス電流のデューティ比を設定する請求項1又は2記載の均等化回路。 - 前記均等化制御部は、
前記選択放電部による放電を開始させる際に前記温度検出部により検出された温度である初期温度に、前記選択放電部による放電電流から推定される温度上昇値を加算して得られた温度を、前記温度検出部によって検出された温度に代えて、前記基準温度と比較する請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の均等化回路。 - 請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の均等化回路と、
前記複数の二次電池とを備える電源システム。 - 請求項8に記載の電源システムを備えた車両であって、
前記均等化制御部は、
前記車両が走行していないときに前記選択放電部による放電を実行する車両。
