NO+NO2+2NH3→2N2+3H2O …(式3)
といった反応を促進して排気ガス中のNOxを還元する。そして、これらの反応においてNOxの還元剤となるアンモニア(NH3)を添加供給するものが、同SCR触媒13の上流側に設けられた添加弁20である。
(NH2)2CO+H2O→2NH3+CO2 …(式4)
といった反応により、排気熱による高温下で尿素水が加水分解される。これにより、アンモニア(NH3)が生成され、そのアンモニアがSCR触媒13に吸着するとともにそのSCR触媒13において排気ガス中のNOxがアンモニアにより選択的に還元除去される。すなわち、同SCR触媒13上でアンモニアに基づく還元反応(上記の反応式(式1)〜(式3))が行われることにより、NOxが還元、浄化されることとなる。
Claims (6)
- エンジンの排気管(11)に設けられ、その排気管内を流通する排気ガスに還元剤を添加する添加弁(20)と、
前記添加弁の温度を取得する温度取得手段(40)と、
冷却液を循環させることにより前記添加弁を冷却する冷却手段(C)と、
前記冷却手段による冷却が正常に実施されるか否かを判定する判定手段(40)と、
前記エンジンの作動中において、前記冷却が正常に実施されていないと判定される場合に、前記添加弁の耐熱温度と前記温度取得手段で取得される前記添加弁の温度とに基づいて、前記添加弁の温度が前記耐熱温度以下となるように前記エンジンの出力を制限する出力制限手段(40)と、
を備えることを特徴とするエンジンの排気浄化システム。 - 前記出力制限手段は、前記添加弁の温度上昇の変化速度が速いほど、前記エンジンの出力制限のための補正量を大きくすることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエンジンの排気浄化システム。
- 前記出力制限手段は、前記添加弁の目標温度を設定し、当該目標温度と前記添加弁の温度とが一致するように前記エンジンの出力を制限する請求項1又は2に記載のエンジンの排気浄化システム。
- 前記添加弁は、前記排気管内に露出され前記還元剤を前記排気管内に添加させる先端部(25)を有しており、
前記温度取得手段は、前記添加弁の温度として前記先端部の温度を取得する請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のエンジンの排気浄化システム。 - 前記排気ガスの温度を検出する排気温センサ(17)を備え、
前記温度取得手段は、前記排気温センサで検出される前記排気ガスの温度に基づいて、前記添加弁の温度を推定する請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のエンジンの排気浄化システム。 - 前記冷却手段は、タンク(34)に貯蔵された前記還元剤を圧送するポンプ(55)および前記ポンプの吐出側に接続された配管(53)を備え、前記配管を通じて圧送された還元剤を前記冷却液として用い、前記タンクと前記添加弁との間で循環させるものである請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載のエンジンの排気浄化システム。
