Description
各試験タイヤをリムサイズ16×6.5JJのホイールに組み付けて空気圧を200kPaとして排気量1600ccの試験車両(前輪駆動車)に装着し、ウエット路面からなるテストコースにおいて、速度100km/hでの走行状態からABS制動を行って車両が停止するまでの制動距離を測定した。評価結果は、測定値の逆数を用い、表1では従来例1を100とする指数値にて示し、表2では従来例2を100とする指数値にて示した。この指数値が大きいほど制動距離が短くウエット性能が優れていることを意味する。

Claims (7)
- タイヤ周方向に延在して環状をなすトレッド部と、該トレッド部の両側に配置された一対のサイドウォール部と、これらサイドウォール部のタイヤ径方向内側に配置された一対のビード部とを備えた空気入りタイヤにおいて、前記トレッド部にタイヤ周方向に延びる主溝と該主溝よりも狭幅であってタイヤ周方向に延びる補助溝とが一対一で組を形成してなる少なくとも1組の溝ユニットを設け、前記主溝及び前記補助溝はいずれも波状又はジグザグ状に蛇行し、前記溝ユニット内で前記主溝と前記補助溝とが互いに絡み合うように交差し、前記溝ユニット内で前記主溝の位相と前記補助溝の位相とが互いに異なり、これら主溝と補助溝とからなる溝ユニットに沿ってタイヤ周方向に延在するリブ部を隣接させたことを特徴とする空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記主溝及び前記補助溝の少なくとも一方はタイヤ周方向に沿って溝幅が変化することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記補助溝の溝幅は前記主溝の最小幅部分の溝幅の70%以下であることを特徴とする請求項1〜2のいずれかに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記補助溝の溝深さは前記主溝の溝深さよりも小さいことを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記トレッド部に少なくとも2組の溝ユニットを設けたことを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記溝ユニットの位相が互いに異なることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 任意の溝ユニットに含まれる主溝の振幅と他の溝ユニットに含まれる主溝の振幅とが互いに異なることを特徴とする請求項5又は6に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
