Description
図4は、本開示の実施の形態である表示装置20の概略断面図を示している。
表示装置20においては、液晶層23により画像lと画像rとが高速に切り替えて表示され、この画像lまたは画像rがバックライト24からの照射光によりW付カラーフィルタ22および視差バリア21を介してユーザLおよびユーザRに到達する。このとき、ユーザLに視認される画像lは、W付カラーフィルタ22のWを透過しておらず、ユーザRに視認される画像rは、W付カラーフィルタ22のWを透過している。なお、バックライト24の照射光は、液晶層23に画像lが表示されるタイミングではユーザL側に、液晶層23に画像rが表示されるタイミングではユーザR側に照射される。
図9は、右側にステアリングハンドルが設けられた自動車のカーナビゲーションシステムに表示装置20を採用した場合における、7種類の利用例を示している。
Claims (8)
- 第1の方向に対しては第1の画像を視認させ、前記第1の方向とは異なる第2の方向に対しては第2の画像を視認させる表示装置において、
前記第1の画像と前記第2の画像を交互に表示する表示部と、
前記第1の画像または前記第2の画像を表示している前記表示部に照射光を照射する照射部と、
前記第1の画像用の第1領域と前記第2の画像用の第2領域から成り、前記表示部を透過した前記照射光が透過されるカラーフィルタと、
前記表示部および前記カラーフィルタの前記第1領域を透過した前記照射光を前記第1の方向に振り分け、前記表示部および前記カラーフィルタの前記第2領域を透過した前記照射光を前記第2の方向に振り分ける振り分け部と
を備え、
前記カラーフィルタは3原色と白色の色成分を有し、
前記カラーフィルタの前記第1領域または前記第2領域の一方は3原色と白色の色成分を有し、他方は3原色の色成分を有し且つ白色の色成分を有しない
表示装置。 - 前記カラーフィルタは、ライン状に交互に配置され前記第1領域と前記第2領域から成る

前記第1の画像に対応する画像信号または前記第2の画像に対応する画像信号の少なくとも一方に補正処理を行う画像信号補正部と、
前記第1の画像と前記第2の画像を交互に表示する表示部と、
前記第1の画像または前記第2の画像を表示している前記表示部に照射光を照射する照射部と、
前記第1の画像用の第1領域と前記第2の画像用の第2領域から成り、前記表示部を透過した前記照射光が透過されるカラーフィルタと、
前記表示部および前記カラーフィルタの前記第1領域を透過した前記照射光を前記第1の方向に振り分け、前記表示部および前記カラーフィルタの前記第2領域を透過した前記照射光を前記第2の方向に振り分ける振り分け部と
を備え、
前記カラーフィルタは3原色と白色の色成分を有し、
前記カラーフィルタの前記第1領域または前記第2領域の一方は3原色と白色の色成分を有し、他方は3原色の色成分を有し且つ白色の色成分を有しない
