Description
本実施形態に係るタイヤ1の概略構成について、図1及び図2を参照しながら説明する。図1は、本実施形態に係るタイヤ1の一部斜視図である。図2は、タイヤ径方向trd及びトレッド幅方向twdに沿った断面図である。
本実施形態に係る周方向溝50の概略構成について、図2及び図3を参照しながら説明する。図3(a)は、図2の中央周方向溝50aの拡大図である。図3(b)は、図2の端部周方向溝50bの拡大図である。なお、図3(a)及び図3(b)は、周方向溝50の延伸方向に直交する方向及びタイヤ径方向trdに沿った断面図でもある。
タイヤ1は、周方向ベルト層40a及び交錯ベルト層40bから構成されるベルト層40を備えるため、中央領域CRにおいて、タイヤ径方向trdにおける内圧の付与によるトレッド部10の成長は、抑制される。従って、中央領域CRに位置する中央周方向溝50aのグルーブクラックの発生は、抑制される。一方、端部領域TRにおいて、ベルト層40によるトレッド部10の成長を抑制する効果があまり得られないため、端部周方向溝50bにグルーブクラックが発生しやすくなる。しかしながら、端部周方向溝50bは、R2/D2>0.195を満たすことにより、溝底の曲率半径を大きく保つことができる。このため、溝底55bに応力が集中することが抑制されるため、グルーブクラックの発生が抑制される。結果として、中央周方向溝50aにおいても端部周方向溝50bにおいてもグルーブクラックの発生が抑制できる。
本発明に係るタイヤの効果を確かめるために、転がり抵抗及びグルーブクラックの発生について評価を行った。
本発明の実施形態を通じて本発明の内容を開示したが、この開示の一部をなす論述及び図面は、本発明を限定するものであると理解すべきではない。本発明はここでは記載していない様々な実施形態を含む。
Claims (6)
- 路面に接するトレッド面とタイヤ周方向に延びる周方向溝とを有するトレッド部を備え、
前記周方向溝の延伸方向に直交する方向及びタイヤ径方向に沿った断面において、前記周方向溝の溝底は、円弧状に形成された円弧部分を有し、前記タイヤ径方向において、前記円弧部分を構成する円弧の中心が前記溝底よりも外側に位置するタイヤであって、
前記トレッド部の内部に位置し、前記タイヤ周方向に延びる周方向ベルト層と、前記タイヤ径方向において前記周方向ベルト層の外側に位置する交錯ベルト層とを備え、
タイヤ赤道線を中心としてトレッド幅方向における前記周方向ベルト層の長さの80%の範囲と前記タイヤ径方向において重複する前記トレッド部の領域は、中央領域であり、前記トレッド部の残りの領域は、端部領域であり、
前記中央領域に位置する前記周方向溝は、中央周方向溝であり、前記端部領域に位置する前記周方向溝は、端部周方向溝であり、
前記中央周方向溝の前記円弧部分の最大曲率半径は、R1であり、前記端部周方向溝の前記円弧部分の最小曲率半径は、R2であり、前記トレッド面から前記中央周方向溝の溝底までの前記タイヤ径方向における最大深さは、D1であり、前記トレッド面から前記端部周方向溝の溝底までの前記タイヤ径方向における最大深さは、D2であり、R1/D1≦0.130、かつ、R2/D2>0.195を満たすタイヤ。 - 前記トレッド面の非接地面積は、前記トレッド面の面積に対して20%以下である請求項1に記載のタイヤ。
- 前記トレッド部は、トレッド幅方向に前記中央周方向溝を挟む、少なくとも2以上の陸部列を有しており、
前記陸部列は、前記中央周方向溝を挟んで隣接する陸部列と接地時に接触する請求項1又は2に記載のタイヤ。 - 前記陸部列は、トレッド幅方向に延びる複数の幅方向溝によって、複数のブロックに分割され、
前記ブロックは、タイヤ径方向から視て、略六角形状である請求項3に記載のタイヤ。 - R1/D1>0.05を満たす請求項1から4の何れか1項に記載のタイヤ。
- R2/D2<0.3を満たす請求項1から5の何れか1項に記載のタイヤ。
