Description
Claims (10)
- 貫通孔を画成する円筒状の段階的な内壁面を有するコネクター本体であって、軸方向壁面を有するリテーナハウジング部と、そのリテーナハウジング部の前記軸方向壁面に対して小さくされた直径の円筒状壁面を有するシール室部とを画定するコネクター本体と、
そのコネクター本体と雄型部材の円筒状シール面部との間に流体密封封止を与えるように前記シール室部に配置されたシールアセンブリーと、
前記貫通孔において前記コネクター本体に取り付けられ、半径方向環状内側面部と半径方向環状外側面部との間で軸方向に延在し、軸方向外方に向いている環状半径方向当接面部を有する一体的な半径方向リングを伴う軸方向外側円筒面部を含む連続する環状要素を備える別体のシールアセンブリー・リテーナと、
を備え、
前記貫通孔は、前記リテーナハウジング部の前記軸方向壁面と前記シール室部の前記円筒状壁面との間に、前記リテーナハウジング部の前記軸方向壁面の直径より小さくて前記シール室部の前記円筒状壁面の直径よりも大きい直径を有する中間部軸方向円筒面を備え、
前記コネクター本体は、前記貫通孔において前記中間部軸方向円筒面から半径方向内方に延在する複数の離間したアーチ状の係止レッジを画成し、
各係止レッジは、軸方向内方に向いている半径方向係止面と半径方向内方アーチ状軸方向セグメントとを含み、
前記シールアセンブリー・リテーナは、前記係止レッジの軸方向内方に向いている半径方向係止面と当接する関係の、前記シールアセンブリーの軸方向外方に向いている半径方向係止面を含み、
前記コネクター本体は、前記リテーナハウジング部の前記軸方向壁面と前記中間部軸方向円筒面との間に延在する円錐状肩面部を含み、
その円錐状肩面部は、前記リテーナハウジング部の前記軸方向壁面と、各々の前記係止レッジの前記半径方向内方アーチ状軸方向セグメントとの間をさらに延在する、クイックコネクター継手。 - 各々の前記係止レッジの前記半径方向内方アーチ状軸方向セグメントは、前記貫通孔のシール室部の軸方向の前記円筒状シール面部の直径と同じ直径である、請求項1に記載のクイックコネクター継手。
- 前記リテーナハウジング部は、前記シール室部の前記軸方向円筒状シール面の前記直径よりも大きな直径を有する軸方向円筒面を含み、
前記シールアセンブリー・リテーナは、前記シール室部の前記円筒状シール面に摺動可能に配置された軸方向内側円筒面と、前記本体の前記中間部軸方向円筒面に摺動可能に配置された軸方向外側の円筒面を画成する前記一体的な半径方向リングとを有する、請求項2に記載のクイックコネクター継手。 - 各前記係止レッジの前記半径方向内方アーチ状軸方向セグメントが、前記一体的な半径方向リングの前記外側軸方向円筒面よりも小さな直径を有する、請求項3に記載のクイックコネクター継手。
- 前記コネクター本体が前記係止レッジのところで半径方向外方に軸方向変形が可能である、請求項4に記載のクイックコネクター継手。
- 前記シールアセンブリー・リテーナが前記一体的な半径方向リングのところで半径方向内方に軸方向変形が可能である、請求項5に記載のクイックコネクター継手。
- 前記係止レッジは、前記コネクター本体の前記貫通孔周上に等しく離間されている、請求項1に記載のクイックコネクター継手。
- 前記クイックコネクター本体が前記貫通孔において3つの係止レッジを含む、請求項7に記載のクイックコネクター継手。
- 前記係止レッジが約20度(20°)の弓状長さを有する、請求項8に記載のクイックコネクター継手。
- 自由端部と、その自由端部から離間されている凸状の環状アップセット部と、前記自由端部と前記環状アップセット部との間の円筒状シール面とを有し、前記貫通孔内に取り外し自在に保持される管状雄型部材と、
前記貫通孔内に前記管状部材を取り外し自在に保持する前記コネクター本体に開放可能に接続される管リテーナと、
を含む、請求項3に記載のクイックコネクター継手。
