Description

本発明は、請求項1の上位概念に記載の装置に関する。
欧州特許第1117488号明細書からこのような装置が公知であり、塗布ヘッドに2つの室を持ち、これらの室に異なる圧力を加えることができる。前室には圧力p0が存在し、主室には圧力p1が設定可能であり、しかも前室と主室との間に密封素子があって、両方の室を分離することによって、前記の圧力が設定可能である。各室は、付属の印刻ローラへ押付けられるかき取り器より外部に対して密封される。更に主室も前室も、ウエブへ塗布される流動可能な媒体用の入口を備えている。
本発明の課題は、一層簡単かつ安価に製造可能であるように、公知の装置を更に開発することである。
この課題を解決するため、請求項1の特徴を持つ装置が役立つ。
本発明の有利な構成が従属請求項の対象である。
図面により本発明が以下に説明される。図において同じ部分は同じ符号を付けられている。
本発明による装置の概略図を示す。 aないしcは、図1による装置において使用される押付け片の異なる押付け度を示す。
図1は、周囲に印刻溝12を備えかつ作動の際時計回りに矢印の方向に回転する印刻ローラ11の断面を示す。印刻ローラ11を越えて、被覆すべきウエブ4が走行し、ウエブ4の下側へ、塗布ヘッド10により供給される流動可能な媒体5を、印刻溝12が転送される。
図示した実施例では、塗布ヘッド10は印刻ローラ11の下従ってウエブ4に対向して設けられている。この塗布ヘッドは、梁のように印刻ローラ11の直線母線に対して平行にその全長にわたって延びて、ウエブ4を被覆すべき流動可能な媒体5をすべての印刻溝12に与える。
塗布ヘッド10は梁状本体25を持ち、この本体の左側に、後述する流動可能な媒体5用の収容槽27が取付けられている。塗布ヘッド10の下側は、回転方向において左側に室13用入口14を持ち、回転方向において塗布ヘッド10の右側で塗布ヘッドの下側に、室13を通って流れる流動可能な媒体5用の出口15が設けられている。入口14と出口15との間で、塗布ヘッド10の中へ上方へ印刻ローラ11の方へ圧縮空気導管21が延び、移動可能な押付け片23上にある気球22で終わっている。押付け片23は圧縮可能な押付け体24に作用している。押付け体24は弾性材料から成り、気球22の膨らませによりこの弾性材料が所定のように圧縮され、それが図2a〜2cに示されている。
気球22を持つ圧縮空気導管21の代わりに、押付け片23に作用する別の構造、例えば突き頭部を持つ突き棒等を選ぶこともできる。
押付け体24の上に、室13内に取付けられる前部かき取り器保持体17により保持される第1又は前部かき取り器16がある。このような構造は当業者に一般に公知であるので、ここではそれ以上立入る必要がない。作動の際前部かき取り器16が室13に接触して、この室を前側で所定のように閉鎖する。
同じように室13の後側も、同様に後部かき取り器保持体19により保持される第2又は後部かき取り器18によって閉鎖される。印刻ローラ11への後部かき取り器18の押付け力は、図面に示すように、高さを調節可能な後部かき取り器保持体19に結合される剛性支持体28によって形成される。
今まで述べられていないが、塗布ヘッド10の右側に取外し可能に設けられている窓20は、もはや印刻溝12により収容されずに、室13から出る流動可能な媒体5の自由な流出を観察できるようにするために設けられている。
最後に指摘することは、塗布ヘッド10の幅に応じて、一様な圧力分布を得るために、1〜5個の入口14を設けることができるが、出口15として1つの出口で十分である。
さて図2のa〜cは、本発明の本質、即ち個々の室13内の圧力の簡単な調節可能性、従って被覆のために意図される流動可能な媒体5による印刻溝12の小気泡なし充填を示す。
図2のaでは、押付け体24は押付け片23により圧縮されないので、前部かき取り器16に押付け体24上のみにあり、印刻ローラ11の線状にのみ接触し、これが破線Aにより示されている。これは、室13内の圧力pに相当するいわば零又は初期位置である。
しかし押付け体24が押付け片23により圧縮されると、それが前部かき取り器16を一層強く印刻ローラ11へ押付け、図2のaの線状接触Aから図2のbによる面接触になり、破線Bが綿接触区域の幅を示す。この条件で流動可能な媒体5を室13から出させるため、室13内の圧力をpからpへ高めねばならない。
押付け片23のもっと強い押付けの際、押付け体24は更に高く圧縮され、面接触区域の幅が、図2のbのBから更に図2のcのCへ更に増大し、それは、出口15からの流出が行われる前に、室13内の圧力がpへ高められねばならないことを意味する。
室13内の圧力により、面接触区域B又はCの幅に応じて、流動可能な媒体5の一層多いか又は少ない量が、後部かき取り器18の所で室13から流出せねばならないようになる。なぜならば、後部かき取り器18は、印刻ローラ11と線接触しているにすぎないからである。室13から回転方向において後から出るこの量は、印刻溝12へ分布し、残りは収容槽27へ流れる。

Claims (4)

  1. 連続的に運送されるウエブ(4)へ流動可能な媒体(5)を塗布する装置であって、
    流動可能な媒体(5)が、連続的に回転する周囲に印刻溝(12)を備えた印刻ローラ(11)により、ウエブ(4)へ転送可能であり、
    流動可能な媒体(5)を印刻ローラ(11)の周囲へ転送するために、塗布ヘッド(10)が設けられ、
    塗布ヘッド(10)が、印刻ローラ(11)の周囲の方へ開きかつ塗布すべき媒体(5)用の入口(14)及び出口(15)を有する室(13)を持ち、
    この室(13)印刻ローラ(11)が塗布ヘッド(10)に入るその前側を前部かき取り器(16)により区画され、また印刻ローラ(11)が塗布ヘッド(10)から出るその後側を後部かき取り器(18)により区画され、これら両方のかき取り器が印刻ローラ(11)の周囲に密接しており、
    前部かき取り器(16)が、押付け体(24)により調節可能な押付け力で印刻ローラ(11)の周囲へ押付け可能であるものにおいて、
    押付け体(24)により印刻ローラ(11)に対する前部かき取り器(16)の接触幅を変更することによって、室(13)内の圧力が設定可能であることを特徴とする、装置。
  2. 印刻ローラ(11)と前部かき取り器(16)の接触が、線接触から面接触に変更された時に、室(13)内の圧力が、ある圧力(p )から別の圧力(p ,p )へ高められることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の装置。
  3. 押付け体(24)が気球(22)により押付け片(23)を介して押付け可能であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の装置。
  4. 気球(22)が圧縮空気導管(21)により膨らませ可能であり、それにより押付け片(23)へ向かって移動可能であることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の装置。
