Description
即ち、内導体端子13が前述のようにL字形に形成された場合には、水平部18と垂下部19との連結部(折れ曲がり部)および垂下部19を含む内導体端子13の全体を均一の静電容量が得られるように外導体端子14によって覆うことは、コネクタハウジング17の形状、サイズ上の制約から困難である。このため、回路基板用コネクタの各部分においてインピーダンスの不整合が生じ、コネクタ全体のインピーダンスが所望の数値することが困難であった。
(1) 回路基板のグランドパターンに接続されるアウター端子と、
前記回路基板の信号パターンに接続されるインナー端子と、
前記アウター端子と前記インナー端子との間に介在する絶縁体部と、
前記アウター端子、前記インナー端子および前記絶縁体部を内部に収容するコネクタハ
ウジングと、
を備えるコネクタであって、
前記アウター端子は、該コネクタが前記回路基板に取り付けられる際の該回路基板に向けて延設され、端部が前記グランドパターンに接続される側面片を有し、
前記インナー端子は、該コネクタが前記回路基板に取り付けられる際の該回路基板と平行に延設された水平部と、前記水平部から該コネクタが前記回路基板に取り付けられる際の該回路基板に向けて延設され、端部が前記信号パターンに接続される垂下片と、を有し、前記垂下片は、前記水平部の延設される向きと同じ向きに延設され前記側面片に所定間隔を保って対向する板状のインピーダンス調整片を含み、
前記絶縁体部には、前記インピーダンス調整片を挿入可能な深さを有する矩形孔が形成されている、
こと。
(2) 上記(1)の構成のコネクタであって、
前記アウター端子に装着可能なシールドカバーをさらに備え、
前記シールドカバーは、前記アウター端子に装着された際、前記垂下片の少なくとも一部に対向する、
こと。
上記(2)の構成のコネクタによれば、予め計算された所定サイズの垂下片の少なくとも一部を、シールドカバーに対して所定間隔を保持するように対向させたことで、インナー端子のアウター端子に対する対地静電容量を高めることができる。

Claims (2)
- 回路基板のグランドパターンに接続されるアウター端子と、
前記回路基板の信号パターンに接続されるインナー端子と、
前記アウター端子と前記インナー端子との間に介在する絶縁体部と、
前記アウター端子、前記インナー端子および前記絶縁体部を内部に収容するコネクタハウジングと、
を備えるコネクタであって、
前記アウター端子は、該コネクタが前記回路基板に取り付けられる際の該回路基板に向けて延設され、端部が前記グランドパターンに接続される側面片を有し、
前記インナー端子は、該コネクタが前記回路基板に取り付けられる際の該回路基板と平行に延設された水平部と、前記水平部から該コネクタが前記回路基板に取り付けられる際の該回路基板に向けて延設され、端部が前記信号パターンに接続される垂下片と、を有し、前記垂下片は、前記水平部の延設される向きと同じ向きに延設され前記側面片に所定間隔を保って対向する板状のインピーダンス調整片を含み、
前記絶縁体部には、前記インピーダンス調整片を挿入可能な深さを有する矩形孔が形成されている、
ことを特徴とするコネクタ。 - 前記アウター端子に装着可能なシールドカバーをさらに備え、
前記シールドカバーは、前記アウター端子に装着された際、前記垂下片の少なくとも一部に対向する、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のコネクタ。
