Description
プラスチックフィルム挿入合わせガラスの製造方法が、樹脂中間膜とプラスチックフィルムとを熱圧着する工程1と、工程1で熱圧着されたプラスチックフィルムに樹脂中間膜と重ねて積層フィルムとする工程2と、工程2で得られる積層フィルムを、2枚の湾曲したガラス板の間に挿入して積層体とする工程3と、工程3で得られる積層体をオートクレーブにより加圧加熱して接着する工程4と、湾曲したガラス板のエッジからはみ出た積層フィルムを切断・除去する工程5とからなることを特徴とするプラスチックフィルム挿入合わせガラスの製造方法である。
工程1:プラスチックフィルム挿入合わせガラスの製造方法が、樹脂中間膜とプラスチックフィルムとを熱圧着し積層フィルムAとする工程、
工程2:工程1で得られる積層フィルムAのプラスチックフィルム側に樹脂中間膜と重ねて積層フィルムBとする工程、
工程3:工程2で得られる積層フィルムBを2枚の湾曲したガラス板の間に挿入して積層体とする工程、
工程4:工程3で得られる積層体をオートクレーブにより加圧加熱接着する工程、
工程5:湾曲したガラス板のエッジからはみ出た積層フィルムを切断・除去する工程
とからなる。
さらに、工程(ロ)でプラスチックフィルムにテンションを加える。自動車や車両用の窓のようなほぼ4辺形の場合は、プラスチックフィルムも窓の形に裁断されているほうが好ましく、プラスチックフィルムの少なくともひとつの対向する辺を引っ張るか、対向する2対のコ―ナーを引っ張るかして、プラスチックフィルムにテンションを加える。窓が三角形や円形に近い形状の場合は、プラスチックフィルムにシワが発生しないように、適当な数箇所を選んで引っ張り、プラスチックフィルムが均一なテンションの状態となるようにすることが望ましい。
図1に示すプラスチックフィルム挿入合わせガラスを次の工程1から工程5の手順に基づいて作製した。
工程2:工程1でえられる積層フィルムAのプラスチックフィルム側に樹脂中間膜と重ねて積層フィルムBとする工程、
工程3:工程2で得られる積層フィルムBを2枚の湾曲したガラス板の間に挿入して積層体とする工程、
工程4:工程3で得られる積層体をオートクレーブにより加圧加熱接着する工程、
工程5:湾曲したガラス板のエッジからはみ出た積層フィルムを切断・除去する工程
工程1において、湾曲したガラス板14を、凸面側を上にして、ほぼ水平に固定し、湾曲したガラス板14の凸面側に樹脂中間膜(PVBフィルム)を重ねた。
厚さが2mmの湾曲した(曲率半径が2.8m〜3mの間にある湾曲したガラス板(大きさ:250mm×350mm)を用いた他は、全て実施例1と同様にして、プラスチックフィルム挿入合わせガラスを作製した。
プラスチックフィルムに、厚さ100μmのPETフィルムと、該PETフィルムの片面に、ハードコート膜と誘電体の多層膜でなる赤外線反射膜を形成し、用いた他は、実施例1と同様にして、プラスチックフィルム挿入合わせガラスを作製した。
実施例4
厚さ50μmのPETフィルムを用いた他は、実施例3と同様にして、プラスチックフィルム挿入合わせガラスを作製した。
実施例1で用いた湾曲したガラス板、PVBフィルムおよびPETフィルムと同じ湾曲したガラス板、PVBフィルムおよびPETフィルムを用い、実施例1の熱圧着による積層フィルムを作製せずに、湾曲したガラス板、PVBフィルム、PETフィルム、PVBフィルム、ガラス板を順次重ね、実施例1と同じ条件でオートクレーブにより、プラスチックフィルム挿入合わせガラスを作製した。
実施例3で用いた、ハードコート膜と赤外線反射膜とが形成されたPETフィルムを用いた他は、比較例1と同様にしてプラスチックフィルム挿入合わせガラスを作製した。

Claims (2)
- 2枚の樹脂中間膜の間にプラスチックフィルムを挟持してなる積層フィルムを用いて作製されるプラスチックフィルム挿入合わせガラスの製造方法において、樹脂中間膜とプラスチックフィルムとを熱圧着する工程1と、工程1で熱圧着されたプラスチックフィルムに樹脂中間膜を重ねて積層フィルムとする工程2と、工程2で得られる積層フィルムを、2枚の湾曲したガラス板の間に挿入して積層体とする工程3と、工程3で得られる積層体をオートクレーブにより加圧加温して接着する工程4と、湾曲したガラス板のエッジからはみ出た積層フィルムを切断・除去する工程5とからなり、該工程1が、湾曲したガラス板あるいは湾曲したガラス板の凸面と同形の曲面形状を有する型板を用い、該湾曲したガラス板あるいは該型板の凸面側に樹脂中間膜を重ねる工程(イ)と、プラスチックフィルムにテンションをかける工程(ロ)と、該湾曲したガラス板あるいは該型板の凸面側に重ねた樹脂中間膜に、テンションをかけた状態で該プラスチックフィルムを重ねる工程(ハ)と、該樹脂中間膜と該プラスチックフィルムとを熱圧着する工程(ニ)とからなることを特徴とするプラスチックフィルム挿入合わせガラスの製造方法。
- 湾曲したガラス板の曲率半径が、0.9m〜3mの範囲にあることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のプラスチックフィルム挿入合わせガラスの製造方法。
