Claims (10)
- 映像を表示する液晶表示パネルに内蔵されたタッチセンサにおいて、
前記液晶表示パネルがタッチされるときに変化する外部光量に対応する制御信号を生成する光感知部と、
前記液晶表示パネルがタッチされるときに変化するキャパシタンスの変化量に基づいて前記制御信号を変化させる容量感知部と、
前記制御信号に応答してセンシング信号を生成し、前記生成されたセンシング信号を出力する時点を決めるセンシング信号出力部と、を含むことを特徴とするタッチセンサ。 - 前記光感知部はフォトダイオードを含み、
前記容量感知部は、前記フォトダイオードと接続された液晶キャパシタを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のタッチセンサ。 - 前記液晶キャパシタのキャパシタンスとの割合に基づいて前記制御信号を変化させるカップリングキャパシタをさらに含み、
前記フォトダイオード、前記液晶キャパシタ及び前記カップリングキャパシタは、第1ノードで全て接続されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のタッチセンサ。 - 前記カップリングキャパシタの第1電極と前記フォトダイオードのアノードに共通接続され、リセット信号が受信される第1信号ラインと、
前記センシング信号出力部に前記リードアウト信号を供給する第2信号ラインと、をさらに含み、
前記フォトダイオードのカソードと前記カップリングキャパシタの第2電極は前記第1ノードに接続されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のタッチセンサ。 - 前記フォトダイオードのカソードは、前記ノードに接続され、アノードは前記液晶表示パネルに具備されて共通電圧が受信される共通電圧ラインに接続されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のタッチセンサ。
- スイッチング信号が受信される第1信号ラインと、
リセット信号が受信される第2信号ラインと、
前記リセット信号と同一位相を有するパルス形態の駆動電圧が受信される駆動電圧ラインと、
前記センシング信号を出力するリードアウトラインと、をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項3に記載のタッチセンサ。 - 前記光感知部は、フォトトランジスタを含み、
前記容量感知部は、前記フォトトランジスタと接続された液晶キャパシタを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のタッチセンサ。 - 複数のゲートライン、複数のデータライン、対応するゲートラインと対応するデータラインに電気的に接続された複数の薄膜トランジスタ、及び前記複数の薄膜トランジスタに各々電気的に接続された複数の第1液晶キャパシタからなる映像を表示する液晶表示パネルと、
前記液晶表示パネルに内蔵され、外部光量の変化及びセルギャップの変化を感知して、タッチ動作をセンシングするタッチセンサと、を含み、
前記タッチセンサは、
前記液晶表示パネルがタッチされるときに変化する外部光量に対応する制御信号を生成する光感知部と、
前記液晶表示パネルがタッチされるときに変化するキャパシタンスの変化量に基づいて前記制御信号を変化させる容量感知部と、
前記制御信号に応答してセンシング信号を生成し、前記生成されたセンシング信号を出力する時点を決めるセンシング信号出力部と、を含むことを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 前記光感知部は、フォトダイオードを含み、
前記容量感知部は、前記フォトダイオードと接続された第2液晶キャパシタを含むことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の液晶表示装置。 - 前記光感知部は、フォトトランジスタを含み、
前記容量感知部は、前記フォトトランジスタと接続された液晶キャパシタを含むことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の液晶表示装置。
