Description
図1は、本発明の第1の実施例に係る切断装置を具備する熱間圧延設備の概略図である。図2は、切断装置の側面図である。図2にて、冷却水捕捉機構を捕捉位置に位置付けた場合を実線にて示し、冷却水捕捉機構を退避位置に位置付けた場合を二点鎖線にて示す。
なお、仕上前切断装置9の配置は、熱間圧延設備の状況などにより適宜選択して配置されるものであり、配置位置や配置の有無などは図示例に限定されるものではない。
接合前切断装置10は、図2に示すように、ハウジング18内における、金属板6,7の通板経路の上方に配置され、2つの切断刃11a,11bが組み付けられた上ドラム13と、金属板6,7の通板経路の下方に配置され、2つの切断刃12a,12bが組み付けられた下ドラム14と、上ドラム13における上側の外周に冷却水Wを噴射する上スプレーヘッダ(冷却水噴射手段)15a,15bとを有し、上ドラム13と下ドラム14とを回転駆動して金属板6,7を切断する切断装置である。

Claims (2)
- 金属板の通板経路の上方および下方にそれぞれ配置され、一対の切断刃が同一平面上で組み付けられた上ドラムおよび下ドラムと、前記上ドラムへ冷却水を噴射する冷却水噴射手段とを備え、前記上ドラムと前記下ドラムとを回転駆動して前記金属板を切断する切断装置であって、
前記上ドラムに近接して配置され、前記冷却水噴射手段によって前記上ドラムへ噴射された冷却水を捕捉する冷却水捕捉機構を具備し、
前記冷却水捕捉機構が、前記金属板の幅よりも長尺であり、上方が開放した樋状部材であり、
前記樋状部材における前記上ドラム側の先端部に、前記上ドラムの前記一対の切断刃を水平に配置したときに、当該切断刃近傍まで延在するワイパブレードを設けた
ことを特徴とする切断装置。 - 請求項1に記載の切断装置であって、
前記樋状部材を、前記ワイパブレードが前記上ドラムの前記切断刃に近接して、前記冷却水を捕捉する捕捉位置と、前記上ドラム側が旋回して、前記捕捉位置から離間した、前記金属板の通板経路上方の退避位置との間で移動させる移動手段を具備し、
前記移動手段が、前記上ドラムの前記一対の切断刃を水平に配置したときに、前記冷却水噴射手段により前記上ドラムへ前記冷却水を噴射するよう制御すると共に、前記樋状部材を前記捕捉位置に位置付けるよう制御し、前記上ドラムを回転移動するときに、前記冷却水噴射手段による前記上ドラムへの前記冷却水の噴射を停止するよう制御すると共に、前記樋状部材を前記退避位置に位置付けるよう制御する制御手段を備えた
ことを特徴とする切断装置。
