Claims (6)
- 被検出体の第1の方向における接近位置を検出するための複数の検出手段と、
上記検出手段と接続している複数の入力部を有する制御手段と、
を備える、入力装置において、
上記複数の入力部に含まれる第1の入力部は、上記複数の検出手段に含まれる複数の第1の検出手段に接続しており、
上記第1の検出手段と上記第1の方向において隣り合う2つ以上の上記検出手段は、上記第1の入力部と異なる複数の上記入力部に接続しており、
上記隣り合う検出手段に接続している2つ以上の上記入力部の組み合わせは、上記第1の検出手段ごとに異なることを特徴とする、入力装置。 - 上記複数の検出手段はそれぞれ、上記第1の方向と異なる第2の方向に沿って延びる電極であり、
上記被検出体は、導電体であり、
上記制御手段は、上記導電体が上記電極に接近したときの、上記電極と上記導電体との間の静電容量の変化を検出する、請求項1に記載の入力装置。 - 複数の上記電極は、互いに平行に配置されており、
上記複数の第1の検出手段は、上記第1の方向における両端に配置されたものを含む、請求項2に記載の入力装置。 - 上記制御手段は、上記第1の検出手段、および上記隣り合う2つ以上の検出手段の検出値の大きさについて加重平均をすることにより、上記第1の方向における上記被検出体の接近位置を計算する、請求項3に記載の入力装置。
- 上記電極と各別に接続している複数の配線と、
これらの配線の一部を構成している多層基板と
をさらに備え、
上記複数の配線は、上記多層基板において接続している、請求項2ないし4のいずれかに記載の入力装置。 - 上記入力部の個数は4であり、上記電極の個数は13である、請求項3に記載の入力装置。
