ここで、Γはπからの許容可能な変化を記述するパラメータであり、βA 及びβB は隣接の半走査の中心投射角度である。Γについて複数の値を使用することができ、好ましい一実施形態では、π/4の値が使用される。Γは、画像品質と心拍数の変動に対するロバスト性との間の釣り合いを満足させる値を持つように選択するのが好ましい。π/4より大きいΓの値を使用することができると考えられるが、π/4以下のΓの値を使用するのが好ましい。これに関して、隣接の半走査の間での中心投射角度はほぼπラジアンだけ異なるのが好ましい。

Claims (10)
- 回転するガントリに設けられ、走査対象の被検体(22)にX線(16)を投射するように構成されているX線源(14)と、前記X線源(14)によって投射され且つ前記被検体(22)によって減弱したX線を検出するように構成されているX線検出器アセンブリ(18)と、コンピュータ(36)と、を有するCTスキャナ(10)であって、
前記コンピュータ(36)は、
一対の隣接の部分的走査(124,128)においてイメージングすべきイメージング・ボリューム(122)を規定し、
第1の部分的走査(124)において前記イメージング・ボリュームの一部分(130)から第1組のCTデータを取得し、
第2の部分的走査(128)において前記イメージング・ボリュームの他の一部分(126)から第2組のCTデータを取得し、
前記第1及び第2組のCTデータの取得(84)が測定した心臓運動(114)と同期し、前記第1及び第2の部分的走査の中心投射角度がπだけ異なるように、前記ガントリの回転速度を前記測定した心臓運動(114)に基づいて制御し、
前記第1及び第2組のCTデータを組み合わせて前記イメージング・ボリューム(122)の空間的カバー範囲を持つ複合データ・セットを形成し、
前記複合データ・セット(156)から前記イメージング・ボリュームのCT画像を再構成するようにプログラムされていること、
を特徴とするCTスキャナ(10)。 - 前記コンピュータ(36)は更に、前記第2の部分的走査(128)の空間的カバー範囲(126)に部分的にオーバーラップする前記第1の部分的走査(124)についての空間的カバー範囲(130)を規定するようにプログラムされている、請求項1記載のCTスキャナ。
- 前記コンピュータ(36)は更に、
π−Γ≦βA−βB≦π+Γ
に基づいて前記ガントリの回転速度を設定するようにプログラムされており、
ここで、Γはπからの許容可能な変化を記述するパラメータであり、βA 及びβB は隣接の半走査の中心投射角度である、請求項1または2に記載のCTスキャナ。 - Γ=π/4である、請求項3記載のCTスキャナ。
- 前記コンピュータ(36)は更に、前記第1及び第2組のCTデータについて列毎の扇形から平行へのビーム・リビンニングを行う(140)ようにプログラムされている、請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載のCTスキャナ。
- 前記コンピュータ(36)は更に、前記第2組のCTデータに基づいて前記第1組のCTデータに重み付けする(146)か前記第1組のCTデータに基づいて前記第2組のCTデータに重み付けする(146)ことの一方を行うようにプログラムされている、請求項5記載のCTスキャナ。
- 更に、前記被検体(22)の前記心臓運動(114)を監視するECGモニタ(33)が設けられている、請求項1乃至6のいずれかに記載のCTスキャナ。
- 前記コンピュータ(36)は更に、被検体(22)が所与のテーブル位置に固定されている間に前記第1及び第2組のCTデータを取得する(84)ようにプログラムされている、請求項1乃至7のいずれかに記載のCTスキャナ。
- 前記コンピュータ(36)は更に、隣接の部分的走査を半走査(124,128)として規定するようにプログラムされている、請求項1記載のCTスキャナ。
- 前記コンピュータ(36)は更に、被検体(22)の測定された各心拍サイクル(114)にわたって検出器(18)カバー範囲の一部分だけ前記ガントリの開口部(48)に被検体(22)を平行移動させるようにプログラムされている、請求項1乃至9のいずれかに記載のCTスキャナ。
