Claims (8)
- 非磁性材料の絶縁容器内に、非磁性材料の液体マトリックスを収容し、この液体マトリックスを介して互いに対向する一対の電極を設置し、
該液体マトリックス中には導電性粒子を流動分散させ、
前記一対の電極間に導電性粒子の連鎖により形成されるヒューズエレメントと直交する方向の成分を有する磁界を発生させる磁界発生部を前記絶縁容器外部に備えた、
ことから成る自己回復性限流ヒューズ。 - 前記一対の電極間に導電性粒子の連鎖が形成されるオン状態では、前記一対の電極への電圧印加により液体マトリックス中の導電性粒子に作用する誘電泳動力によって導電性粒子が互いに連続して接続され、かつ、過電流時に、前記磁界発生部により発生する磁界がヒューズエレメントに流れる電流と作用して発生する電磁力が、ヒューズエレメントを切断するか、或いはヒューズエレメントを電極外に押し出してオフ状態とし、かつ、このオン状態とオフ状態を繰り返し行うことを可能にした自己回復性機能を有する請求項1に記載の自己回復性限流ヒューズ。
- 前記一対の電極は、スロープ或いは階段状にして、電極間の距離が徐々にまたは急激に遠くなる形状にした請求項1に記載の自己回復性限流ヒューズ。
- 前記一対の電極は、高融点材料単体又は高融点材料を含む合金とし、耐アーク性や電食に強い材料から作製した請求項1に記載の自己回復性限流ヒューズ。
- 前記磁界発生部の磁界強度を変化させることのできる磁界強度変化装置を備え、かつ、この磁界強度変化装置は、自己回復性限流ヒューズと直列に備えた過電流検出部により検出された過電流、或いは、非常用トリップ入力部からの非常用トリップ信号又はオフ動作確認信号を受けて、磁界強度を大きく変化させることにより前記ヒューズエレメントをオフ状態にする請求項1に記載の自己回復性限流ヒューズ。
- 前記磁界発生部として、永久磁石、磁界発生コイル、或いはこの自己回復性限流ヒューズへの配線中に流れる電流により発生する磁界を単独で、若しくはこれらを組み合わせて用いる請求項1に記載の自己回復性限流ヒューズ。
- 前記磁界発生部により発生する磁界の強さは、該磁界発生部と前記絶縁容器の間の相対位置を変えることにより、或いは磁界発生コイルに流す電流値を変えることにより行う請求項6に記載の自己回復性限流ヒューズ。
- 前記磁界発生部により発生する磁界の強さを変化させることにより、設定遮断電流を変化させる請求項1に記載の自己回復性限流ヒューズ。
