Description
第一実施形態の車両用衝突検知装置1について図1〜図3を参照して説明する。図1は、本実施形態の車両用衝突検知装置1を模式的に示す平面図である。図2は、図1におけるA−A線断面図である。図3は、各部材の温度特性を示す図である(上から、アブソーバのF−S特性の温度特性、チャンバ部材のF−P特性の温度特性、組合せ後のF−P特性の温度特性)。なお、図2について、サイドメンバ5は省略する。
第二実施形態の車両用衝突検知装置10について図4を参照して説明する。図4は、図1における第二実施形態のA−A線断面図である。第二実施形態では、第一実施形態に比べて、チャンバ部材の形状が異なっている。従って、第一実施形態と同一構成については、同一符号を付して説明を省略する。

Claims (7)
- 車両バンパ内でバンパレインフォースメントの前面に配設され且つチャンバ空間が内部に形成されるチャンバ部材と、前記チャンバ空間内の圧力を検出する圧力センサと、前記バンパレインフォースメントの前面に配置されるアブソーバと、を備え、当該圧力センサの検出結果に基づいて前記車両バンパへの衝突を検知するように構成された車両用衝突検知装置において、
前記チャンバ部材は、受けた荷重と前記チャンバ空間の圧力変化との関係である荷重−圧力変化特性が、前記アブソーバが有する荷重−変位特性の温度特性を相殺する温度特性を有していることを特徴とする車両用衝突検知装置。 - 前記チャンバ部材は、前記荷重−圧力変化特性が、高温になるほど小さくなる温度特性を有している請求項1に記載の車両用衝突検知装置。
- 前記チャンバ部材は、車幅方向から見た断面の外縁形状において、車両前後方向の横幅が上下方向の縦幅より大きくなっている請求項2に記載の車両用衝突検知装置。
- 前記チャンバ部材は、前記アブソーバに対して上下方向に離間して配置されている請求項3に記載の車両用衝突検知装置。
- 前記チャンバ部材は、上方部位および下方部位のうち前記アブソーバに面していない側の部位の少なくとも一部が他の部位よりも肉厚の薄い薄肉部となっている請求項2〜4の何れか一項に記載の車両用衝突検知装置。
- 前記チャンバ部材は、上方部位の少なくとも一部および下方部位の少なくとも一部が他の部位よりも肉厚の薄い薄肉部となっている請求項4に記載の車両用衝突検知装置。
- 前記チャンバ部材は、車幅方向から見た断面の外縁形状において、上方部位が上方に凸状であり且つ下方部位が下方に凸状となっている請求項4に記載の車両用衝突検知装置。
