補正値ΔP1=検出値P1−基準出力値Pref
補正値ΔP2=検出値P2−基準出力値Pref
の計算により算出する。第1及び第2圧力センサ21,22の基準出力値Prefは、排気管3内の圧力が周囲大気圧と同圧であるときの第1及び第2圧力センサ21,22の出力値の設計値である。すなわち、第1及び第2圧力センサ21,22は、測定回路の一部を構成する歪ゲージを貼着したダイヤフラムの片側に圧力導入室を設けて被測定圧力を導入し、反対側を大気圧に開放することで、大気圧に対する被測定圧の相対圧を検出するものであり、ステップS108,S110では、ダイヤフラムの片側に導入される被測定圧力が大気圧と等しい場合の圧力を相対圧P1,P2として検出し、その値とその設計値(通常0)との差を補正値ΔP1,ΔP2として算出するものである。
補正圧力P22=P2−ΔP2
続いて、補正圧力P11から補正圧力P22を差し引いて差圧(DPF4の前後差圧)P12を計算する(ステップS204)。次に、差圧P12が予め定めた第1基準差圧Pcよりも大きいかどうかを判定し(ステップS206)、判定結果がYESであれば、オペレータに手動再生制御の開始を促すDPF手動再生警告を表示部10に表示し(ステップS208)、差圧P12をDPF手動再生制御部に出力し(ステップS210)、処理を終了する。また、判定結果がNOであれば、差圧P12をDPF手動再生制御部に出力し(ステップS210)、処理を終了する。DPF監視制御部50bは、図5に示した演算処理を定期的(例えば0.1秒毎)に行っている。
オペレータがキーSW20をOFFからONに切り換えると、キーSW判定部30がキーSW20のONを判定し、その判定結果がエンジン制御部50の圧力センサ補正制御部50aに入力される。圧力センサ補正制御部50aはその判定結果を受けて、エンジン2の起動処理をして図4に示した演算処理を行う。これにより、センサ類21,22,23,24,25が全て正常であり、エンジン2が停止中であり、DPF4の上流側及び下流側の排気ガス(排気管3内)の温度が予め定めた規定値の範囲内であり、DPF4の上流側と下流側の排気ガス(排気管3内)の温度差が予め定めた規定値の範囲内である場合は、第1及び第2圧力センサ21,22の補正値ΔP1,ΔP2が算出され(図4のステップS100→S102→S104→S106)、この補正値が予め定めた規定値の範囲内であると、その補正値が補正値記憶部42に記憶され(図4のステップS112,S114)、その後、通常のエンジンの2の起動制御が行われる(図4のステップS120)。また、センサ類21,22,23,24,25の何れか1つでも正常でない場合、DPF4の上流側及び下流側の排気ガス(排気管3内)の温度が予め定めた規定値の範囲内でない場合、DPF4の上流側と下流側の排気ガス(排気管3内)の温度差が予め定めた規定値の範囲内でない場合は、補正範囲外警告が表示部10に表示され、通常エンジン制御を行う(図4のステップS118,S120)。更に、センサ類21,22,23,24,25に異常がある場合は、センサ異常警告が表示部10に表示され、かつDPF4の自動再生制御処理部(図示せず)にセンサ異常警告の制御信号を出力して、その後、エンジン起動制御を行う(図4のステップS116,S118,S120)。
1.DPF監視制御
エンジン起動後の通常作動時はDPF監視制御部50bによりDPF4の前後差圧P12が演算され監視されている。ここで、DPF監視制御部50bは、エンジン起動時に演算した圧力センサ21,22の補正値ΔP1,ΔP2を補正値記憶部42から読み出し、この補正値ΔP1,ΔP2を用いて圧力センサ21,22の検出値P1,P2を補正して圧力P11,P22を算出し、この圧力P11,P22を用いてDPF4の前後差圧P12を算出する(図5のステップS200〜S204)。このように、補正値ΔP1,ΔP2を用いて検出値P1,P2を補正し、補正後の圧力P11,P22を用いてDPF4の前後差圧P12を算出するので、DPF4の前後差圧を正確に測定することができる。
エンジン起動後の通常動作時は、上述したDPF監視制御部50bによるDPF監視制御と平行して、DPF手動再生制御部50eによりDPF4の自動再生制御が行われている。
エンジン起動後において、DPF監視制御部50bにより表示部10に手動再生警告が表示された場合、オペレータはDPF再生SW27を押して手動再生制御部50dを制御することにより、DPF4の再生制御を行う。

- ディーゼルエンジンの排気系に配置され、排気ガスの中に含まれる粒子状物質を捕集するフィルタと、このフィルタの上流側及び下流側にそれぞれ配置された第1及び第2圧力センサと、この第1及び第2圧力センサの検出値に基づいて前記フィルタの前後差圧を演算する差圧演算手段とを有し、前記差圧演算手段により演算した前記フィルタの前後差圧を用いて前記フィルタに堆積した粒子状物質を焼却除去する再生処理の要否を判断するディーゼルエンジンの排気ガス浄化システムにおいて、
前記フィルタの上流側に設置された第1温度センサと、
前記フィルタの下流側に設置された第2温度センサとを備え、
前記第1及び第2圧力センサは、それぞれダイヤフラムの片側に被測定圧力を導入し、反対側を大気圧に開放して大気圧に対する被測定圧の相対圧を検出するものであり、
前記ディーゼルエンジンのキースイッチのON操作により前記ディーゼルエンジンの起動処理を行う都度、前記ディーゼルエンジンを起動する前に、前記第1及び第2圧力センサのそれぞれの検出値と予め定めた基準値との差を第1及び第2補正値として演算する補正値演算手段と、
前記補正値演算手段により演算した第1及び第2補正値を記憶する補正値記憶手段とを備え、
前記差圧演算手段は、前記第1及び第2圧力センサの検出値と前記補正値記憶手段に記憶した第1及び第2補正値とを用いて前記フィルタの前後差圧を演算し、
前記補正値演算手段は、前記第1及び第2温度センサの検出値の差が規定値の範囲内で、かつ前記第1及び第2温度センサの検出値がそれぞれ規定値の範囲内の場合にのみ前記補正値を計算して前記記憶手段に記憶することを特徴とするディーゼルエンジンの排気ガス浄化システム。 - 請求項1記載のディーゼルエンジンの排気ガス浄化システムにおいて、
前記差圧演算手段により演算された前記フィルタの前後差圧が所定の値よりも大きい場合に、前記フィルタに堆積した粒子状物質を焼却除去する再生処理の開始を促す表示を行う表示手段と、
再生制御スイッチを有し、この再生制御スイッチが操作されると前記フィルタの再生処理を開始する手動再生手段とを備えることを特徴とするディーゼルエンジンの排気ガス浄化システム。 - 請求項1記載のディーゼルエンジンの排気ガス浄化システムにおいて、
前記フィルタに堆積した粒子状物質を焼却除去する再生処理を定期的に行う自動再生手段を備え、
前記補正値演算手段は、前記第1及び第2圧力センサの少なくとも一方が故障した場合には、前記第1及び第2補正値の演算を行わないと共に、
前記自動再生手段は、再生処理を実行する間隔を短くすることを特徴とするディーゼルエンジンの排気ガス浄化システム。
