(比較例1)
実施例1とは、グルタミン酸のモル数を無機塩の総モル数の0.5倍及び0.7倍としたこと及びZnの添加量xを15モル%とした以外は同一の条件でナノ粒子蛍光体を作製した。この場合には、各ナノ粒子蛍光体の粒径は、不純物の影響で500nm程度と非常に大きく、輝度が低かった。この比較例1及び実施例1より、有機酸のモル数が1倍となると、ナノ粒子蛍光体はその粒径を50〜100nmの範囲で形成でき、輝度が高くなることがわかった。
Claims (7)
- Y2O3及びGd2O3から選ばれた少なくとも1種の化合物を母体とし、この母体にTb及びZnからなる付活剤金属を添加してなるナノ粒子蛍光体において、
前記Tbの添加量が、前記母体の構成金属と付活剤金属との総モル数基準で、0.5〜1.0モル%であることを特徴とするナノ粒子蛍光体。 - 前記Znの添加量が、前記母体の構成金属と付活剤金属との総モル数基準で、5.0〜25.0モル%であることを特徴とする請求項1記載のナノ粒子蛍光体。
- Yの無機塩及びGdの無機塩から選ばれた少なくとも1種の無機塩と、Tbの無機塩及びZnの無機塩と、有機酸とを溶媒に溶解又は分散させた後、焼成して、Y 2 O 3 及びGd 2 O 3 から選ばれた少なくとも1種の酸化物を母体とするナノ粒子蛍光体を作製するナノ粒子蛍光体の作製方法において、
前記Tbの無機塩を、Tbに換算して、前記無機塩の構成金属の総モル数基準で、0.5〜1.0モル%になるように添加し、
前記有機酸のモル数が、無機塩の総モル数の1〜50倍であることを特徴とするナノ粒子蛍光体の作製方法。 - 前記Znの無機塩を、Znに換算して、前記無機塩の構成金属の総モル数基準で、5.0〜25.0モル%になるように添加することを特徴とする請求項3記載のナノ粒子蛍光体の作製方法。
- 前記焼成を、900〜1500℃の温度範囲で行うことを特徴とする請求項3又は4記載のナノ粒子蛍光体の作製方法。
- 前記有機酸が、少なくとも1種のアミノ酸であることを特徴とする請求項3〜5のいずれかに記載のナノ粒子蛍光体の作製方法。
- 前記アミノ酸が、グリシン、アスパラギン酸及びグルタミン酸から選ばれた少なくとも1種であることを特徴とする請求項6記載のナノ粒子蛍光体の作製方法。
