Claims (4)
- 回転軸を中心に板状の弁体が回転するスロットル弁を吸気通路中に備え、該スロットル弁の開動作時に、弁体の一方の端縁が吸気通路の下流側へ移動し、他方の端縁が吸気通路の上流側へ移動する内燃機関の吸気装置において、
上記弁体よりも下流でかつ弁体の一方の端縁の側を通過した吸気流と他方の端縁の側を通過した吸気流とが合流する長手方向位置付近の吸気通路内壁面に、該吸気通路の周方向の一部を部分的に外周側に窪ませてなる拡張室を有し、
この拡張室は、吸気通路の長手方向については上記弁体の上記の一方の端縁よりも下流側に位置し、吸気通路の断面で見た位置としては、上記回転軸を挟んで上記弁体の上記の一方の端縁が位置する側にあり、かつ吸気通路の中心から上記回転軸と直交する方向を含まず吸気通路の中心から上記回転軸に対し45°傾いた方向の周方向位置を含む周方向の一部のみに設けられていることを特徴とする内燃機関の吸気装置。 - 上記拡張室の中心が上記回転軸に対し45°傾いた位置にあることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関の吸気装置。
- 回転軸を中心に板状の弁体が回転するスロットル弁を吸気通路中に備え、該スロットル弁の開動作時に、弁体の一方の端縁が吸気通路の下流側へ移動し、他方の端縁が吸気通路の上流側へ移動する内燃機関の吸気装置において、
上記弁体よりも下流でかつ弁体の一方の端縁の側を通過した吸気流と他方の端縁の側を通過した吸気流とが合流する長手方向位置付近の吸気通路内壁面に、該吸気通路の周方向の一部を部分的に外周側に窪ませてなる拡張室を有し、
この拡張室は、吸気通路の長手方向については上記弁体の上記の一方の端縁よりも下流側に位置し、吸気通路の断面で見た位置としては、上記回転軸を挟んで上記弁体の上記の一方の端縁が位置する側にあり、かつ、吸気通路の中心から上記回転軸に沿った方向および該回転軸と直交する方向を含まない周方向の一部のみに設けられていることを特徴とする内燃機関の吸気装置。 - 複数のブランチ部が接続されたコレクタ部と、スロットル弁を備えたスロットルチャンバが取り付けられるスロットルチャンバ取付フランジと、このスロットルチャンバ取付フランジから上記コレクタ部に至る略円筒状の管状部と、を備えてなる合成樹脂製の吸気マニホルドにおいて、
上記管状部の周壁に、周方向の一部を部分的に外周側に窪ませてなる拡張室が一体に形成されており、
この拡張室は、管状部の長手方向については、上記スロットル弁の開動作時に相対的に下流側に移動する弁体の一方の端縁よりも下流側に位置し、管状部の断面で見た位置としては、上記スロットル弁の回転軸を挟んで上記弁体の上記の一方の端縁が位置する側にあり、かつ上記管状部の中心から上記回転軸と直交する方向を含まず上記管状部の中心から上記回転軸に対し45°傾いた方向の周方向位置を含む周方向の一部のみに設けられていることを特徴とする内燃機関の吸気マニホルド。
