Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a battery equipped with a plug member for a liquid spout and an exhaust plug and sensors such as a temperature sensor and a liquid level sensor.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In general, a lead-acid battery for an automobile has a 12V battery in which 6 cells are connected in series. Each cell is provided with a hole for injecting an electrolytic solution. This hole is also used to replenish the liquid when the electrolyte level in the cell drops. When a normal battery is used, the hole is provided with a liquid plug and an exhaust plug having an exhaust function. Some batteries are equipped with sensors for detecting the internal state of the battery, such as the electrolyte surface height, electrolyte specific gravity, temperature, and electrode potential. Such a liquid plug, an exhaust plug and other sensors (hereinafter referred to as mounting members) are mounted in the holes by screwing through a sealing material such as rubber packing. Accordingly, the hole functions as a mounting hole of the mounting member. And this mounting hole is normally provided in the lid | cover joined to the battery case which accommodates an electrode group.
[0003]
Since it is necessary to provide a screw on the lid, it is necessary to provide a screw for forming the screw in a mold used for molding the lid, and when removing the lid from the die, it is necessary to rotate the screw and remove it from the lid. . For this reason, the mold becomes complicated, and it takes time to remove the lid from the mold. As a result, it is inconvenient to reduce the price of the battery.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The present invention is a battery in which a screw part for mounting a mounting member as described above is provided in a battery container such as a lid, and the die used for molding the lid is simplified, and further, the time required for molding is shortened. The purpose is to reduce the price of the battery.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the invention according to claim 1 of the present invention includes a plug member and / or a liquid level sensor including a liquid plug, an exhaust plug , an electrolyte specific gravity sensor, a temperature sensor, and an electrode potential sensor. In a battery including a mounting member made of a detection member for detecting a state in the battery including and a mounting hole for mounting the mounting member on the battery exterior, an outer peripheral thread portion is provided on an outer periphery of the mounting member, An inner peripheral screw portion is provided on the inner periphery of the mounting hole, and the outer peripheral screw portion and the inner peripheral screw portion are screwed together to fix the mounting member to the mounting hole. The battery is characterized in that the spiral is one or more spirals, and the spiral of the inner peripheral screw portion is less than one spiral.
[0006]
According to a second aspect of the present invention, in the battery having the configuration according to the first aspect, the top surface of the mounting member and the outer edge of the mounting hole in a state where the mounting member is mounted in the mounting hole. Are configured on the same plane, and a flange portion is provided on the top surface of the mounting member, and when the mounting member is mounted in the mounting hole, the inner side of the battery is positioned more than the screw position of the outer peripheral screw portion and the inner peripheral screw portion. 1 shows a battery in which the product of the number of threads and the pitch of the outer peripheral threaded portion provided in is larger than the thickness of the flange portion.
[0007]
The invention described in claim 3 of the present invention is a battery having the configuration described in claim 2, wherein the battery is provided with a packing having elasticity between the flange portion and the mounting hole.
[0008]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
[0009]
FIG. 1A is a top view of a liquid spigot that is a battery mounting member according to an embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 1B is a side view thereof, and FIG. 1C is a stage before mounting the liquid spigot. 2 is a cross-sectional view showing the main part of the liquid port which is the mounting hole of FIG. 2, and FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view showing the main part of the battery according to the embodiment of the present invention shown in FIG. is there.
[0010]
A lid 2 is joined to an opening of a battery case 1 that accommodates an electrode plate group (not shown). The battery case 1 is partitioned into a plurality of cell chambers by partition walls, for example. Corresponding to the cell chamber, the lid 2 is provided with a liquid port 4 for mounting a liquid port plug 3. The liquid port 4 is a form of the mounting hole specified in the claims. An inner peripheral screw portion 4 a is provided inside the liquid port 4.
[0011]
In the present invention, the spiral 4 b of the inner peripheral threaded portion 4 a is provided as an annular shape less than one around the inner periphery of the liquid port 4. According to such a configuration, it is not necessary to rotate the mold corresponding to the inner peripheral screw portion 4a at the time of punching, so that the structure of the mold can be simplified and the time required to remove the punch and mold it. Can also be shortened. In particular, when a plurality of liquid ports are provided as in a lead acid battery for automobiles, such an effect can be remarkably exhibited. Further, an outer peripheral screw portion 3 a corresponding to the inner peripheral screw portion 4 a is formed on the outer periphery of the liquid spout 3. The spiral 3b constituting the outer peripheral screw portion 3a is provided as one or more spirals on the outer periphery of the liquid spout 3. The mold for forming the outer peripheral screw portion 3a may be a simple two-divided mold, and there is no need to rotate the mold when forming the outer peripheral screw portion 3a. Moreover, it is preferable to form at least the outer periphery screw portion 3a and the spiral 3b as an annular shape having a plurality of circumferences so that the entire periphery of the outer periphery screw portion 3a can be screwed.
[0012]
A packing 5 having elasticity is provided so that the electrolyte in the battery does not flow out between the liquid port plug 3 and the liquid port 4. The packing 5 is always compressed in the thickness direction so that the liquid tightness between the liquid spout 3 and the liquid spout 4 is maintained. When the battery is used for a long period of time, it is necessary to replenish purified water from the liquid port due to a decrease in the electrolyte level. In that case, the liquid port plug 3 is once removed, and after replenishing purified water, the liquid port plug is again provided. 3 is attached to the liquid port 4. Since the packing 5 used for a long time is compressed in the thickness direction and the thickness is reduced, it is necessary to provide the spiral 3b downward, that is, toward the inside of the battery.
[0013]
Further, the top surface 3c of the liquid spigot 3 in a state of being attached to the liquid spout 4 is configured to coincide with the top surface 2a of the lid 2, and a + or-thread groove 6 is formed on the top surface 3c of the liquid spout plug 3. As shown in FIG. 1A, a coin-like member is inserted into the thread groove 6 and the liquid port plug 3 is rotated to attach or detach the liquid port plug 3 to or from the liquid port 4. Since the finger grip portion for holding the liquid spigot 3 is not formed on the top surface 3c of the liquid spigot 3, it is very difficult to remove the liquid spigot 3 from the lid 2. In a preferred configuration of the present invention, in the process of providing the flange 3d on the top surface 3c of the liquid spigot 3 and removing the liquid spigot 3 from the lid 2, as shown in FIG. When the screwing of the part 4 a is released, the flange part 3 d of the liquid spout 3 is configured to be positioned above the top surface 2 a of the lid 2. That is, in a state in which the liquid spout 3 is attached to the liquid spout 4, the outer peripheral threaded portion 3a is longer than the lower end of the threaded portion between the outer peripheral threaded portion 3a and the inner peripheral threaded portion 4a and is longer than the thickness dimension of the flange 3d. Is configured downward. According to such a configuration, as shown in FIG. 3, when the screwing between the outer peripheral screw portion 3a and the inner peripheral screw portion 4a is released in the process of detaching the liquid port plug 3, the liquid port 4 and the collar portion are removed. As shown in FIG. 3, a space 7 is formed between the liquid port 3d and the liquid port plug 4 from the liquid port 4 easily by inserting a jig such as a driver into the space 7 and pushing up the liquid port plug 3. 3 can be removed. The packing 5 has an annular shape, and the flange portion 3 d is mounted between the lower surface and the peripheral surface 4 c of the liquid port 4.
[0014]
Of course, the present invention can be applied to a mounting member in which various sensors such as an electrolyte specific gravity sensor and a temperature sensor in the cell are mounted instead of the liquid plug.
[0015]
【Effect of the invention】
As described above, according to the configuration of the present invention, in a battery in which a screw part for mounting a mounting member such as a liquid spigot is provided in a battery container such as a lid, the mold used for molding the lid is simplified. Can reduce the cost of the battery by reducing the time required for molding, and can improve the detachability of the mounting member.
