本発明は、参照によって本願明細書に援用する2005年1月13日出願の米国仮特許出願第60/643,564号に関し、その優先権を主張する。

Claims (13)
- ハブスピンドルを有するハブ軸受アセンブリと、
前記ハブ軸受アセンブリに動作可能に連結されて、前記ハブスピンドルを回転駆動する差動遊星歯車駆動機構であって、固定リング歯車、キャリアおよび一組の遊星歯車群を含むところの差動遊星歯車駆動機構と、
前記差動遊星歯車駆動機構を同軸に取り囲む電気モータであって、前記差動遊星歯車駆動機構に動作可能に連結されて、前記差動遊星歯車駆動機構の駆動リング歯車を回転駆動するところの電気モータと
を備える車両ホイールハブ駆動システムにおいて、
前記固定リング歯車が、固定支持構造体に動作可能に連結され、
前記キャリアが、前記駆動リング歯車および前記固定リング歯車に係合する前記一組の遊星歯車群を支持しており、
トルクを前記駆動リング歯車から同軸の軸に伝達するように構成された複数のスポークによって、前記駆動リング歯車が前記同軸の軸に連結されており、そして、
前記同軸の軸が前記ハブスピンドルに動作可能に連結されている
ことを特徴とする車両ホイールハブ駆動システム。 - 前記電気モータが、前記差動遊星歯車駆動機構の従動部品に動作可能に連結された回転子と、固定支持構造体に動作可能に連結された固定子とを含む、請求項1に記載の車両ホイールハブ駆動システム。
- 前記一組の遊星歯車群の各遊星歯車群が、前記駆動リング歯車に係合する第1の遊星歯車と、前記固定リング歯車に係合する第2の遊星歯車とを含む、請求項2に記載の車両ホイールハブ駆動システム。
- 前記スポークがそれぞれ可撓性を有している、請求項1に記載の車両ホイールハブ駆動システム。
- 前記複数のスポークが、前記同軸の軸と前記駆動リング歯車との間の軸心の不整合を吸収するように構成されている、請求項1に記載の車両ホイールハブ駆動システム。
- 遊星歯車群における前記第1の遊星歯車および前記第2の遊星歯車の各々が、共通軸の周りを回転するために、相互に動作可能に連結されている、請求項3に記載の車両ホイールハブ駆動システム。
- ハブスピンドルを有するハブ軸受アセンブリと、
前記ハブ軸受アセンブリに動作可能に連結されて、前記ハブスピンドルを回転駆動する差動遊星歯車駆動機構であって、固定リング歯車、キャリアおよび一組の遊星歯車群を含むところの差動遊星歯車駆動機構と、
前記差動遊星歯車駆動機構を同軸に取り囲む電気モータであって、前記差動遊星歯車駆動機構に動作可能に連結されて、前記差動遊星歯車駆動機構の駆動リング歯車を回転駆動するところの電気モータと
を備える車両ホイールハブ駆動システムにおいて、
複数のスポークによって、前記駆動リング歯車が前記ハブスピンドルに連結されており、
前記固定リング歯車が、固定支持構造体に動作可能に連結され、
前記キャリアが、前記駆動リング歯車および前記固定リング歯車に係合する前記一組の遊星歯車群を支持しており、
前記キャリアは、前記固定リング歯車内、および、前記ハブスピンドルに連結された同軸の軸の端部内で、前記キャリアを支持するのに適した同軸の軸受を受け入れるように構成された軸受座を含んでいる
ことを特徴とする車両ホイールハブ駆動システム。 - 前記駆動リング歯車は、少なくとも1つの連結部材によって動作可能に連結されて、トルクを同軸の軸を介して前記ハブスピンドルに伝達することを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の車両ホイールハブ駆動システム。
- 前記電動モータを収容するハウジングであって、前記差動遊星歯車駆動機構の固定リング歯車を支持する後板を有するところのハウジングと、
前記後板に同軸に配置されるカバーカップであって、前記後板内に同軸的に形成された開口を封止し、そして、少なくとも1つのセンサを収容するために、前記後板の外側に環状の空間を形成するところのカバーカップと
を更に含む、請求項8に記載の車両ホイールハブ駆動システム。 - 前記同軸の軸と前記ハブスピンドルとは、動作可能に嵌め合わされて、ハウジング内において前記ハブ軸受アセンブリを支持する2列式軸受を構成している、請求項9に記載の車両ホイールハブ駆動システム。
- ハブスピンドルを有するハブ軸受アセンブリと、
前記ハブ軸受アセンブリに動作可能に連結されて、前記ハブスピンドルを回転駆動する差動遊星歯車駆動機構と、
前記差動遊星歯車駆動機構を同軸に取り囲む電気モータであって、前記差動遊星歯車駆動機構に動作可能に連結されて、前記差動遊星歯車駆動機構の駆動リング歯車を回転駆動するところの電気モータと
を備える車両ホイールハブ駆動システムにおいて、
トルクを前記駆動リング歯車から同軸の軸に伝達するように構成された複数のスポークによって、前記駆動リング歯車が前記同軸の軸に連結され、前記同軸の軸が前記ハブスピンドルに動作可能に連結されており、
前記同軸の軸と前記駆動リング歯車との間の軸心の不整合を吸収するように、前記複数のスポークが可撓性を有している
ことを特徴とする車両ホイールハブ駆動システム。 - 差動遊星歯車駆動機構の駆動リング歯車により、駆動軸を介して、回転駆動されるハブスピンドルを有するハブ軸受アセンブリを備えた、改良された車両ホイールハブ駆動システムであって、
前記差動遊星歯車駆動機構の外側の周囲に同軸に配置され、前記差動遊星歯車駆動機構に動作可能に連結されて、前記駆動リング歯車を回転駆動する電気モータを備え、
前記駆動リング歯車が、前記駆動リング歯車の回転の軸線と、前記駆動軸の回転の軸線との間の軸心の不整合を吸収するように構成され、
前記駆動リング歯車が、少なくとも1つの可撓性を有する径方向スポークによって、前記駆動軸に動作可能に連結されている
ことを特徴とする、車両ホイールハブ駆動システム。
